Este artigo retrata perspectivas das análises administrativas e políticas constantes nas obras do filósofo lisboeta Silvestre Pinheiro Ferreira (1769-1846) escritas no período joanino (1808-1821). Coetâneo dos intelectuais e políticos que presenciaram os efeitos da Revolução de Independência Americana (1776) e da Revolução Francesa (1789), o autor participou das discussões referentes às teorias da representação política que organizaram a estrutura institucional dos Estados constitucionais modernos. As obras analisadas são de fases distintas da regência (1799-1815) e do reinado (1816-1821) de D. João VI no Brasil: Memórias Políticas sobre os Abusos Gerais e Modo de os reformar e Prevenir a Revolução Popular Redigidas por Ordem do Príncipe Regente no Rio de Janeiro em 1814 e 1815 e Cartas sobre a Revolução no Brasil (1820-1821).

Una de las tareas que se afianzó desde el interior de los trabajos económicos de corte neoliberal fue el estudio de los comportamientos humanos. Esto significó, dentro de múltiples factores y consecuencias, el desarrollo de un sistema de medición y evaluación de estos comportamientos con la intención de generar predicciones y lecturas útiles para el diseño de mecanismos de producción. Al conjugarse con sistemas tecnológicos, que pudieron integrar y efectuar muchos de los planteamientos económicos, las subjetividades se vieron afectadas al ser ya un objeto de constante medición. En esa medida, el objetivo de este artículo es analizar cómo se planteó, dentro de una racionalidad neoliberal, el estudio de los comportamientos humanos, ejemplificado en el gusto. A la par, se busca ilustrar este procedimiento a través del botón “Me gusta” de Facebook y, a partir de allí, plantear algunas líneas de interpretación sobre cómo esta medición, con sus propios métodos y herramientas, afecta las subjetividades contemporáneas.

This essay intends to subject Pierre Bourdieu's aesthetic thinking to reflexive criticism. For this, it defends the partial and flawed character of the reflexivity carried out by the French sociologist especially with regard to the theoretical determinants of his aesthetic approach -, implying in two problems: (1) restricted view of the relation between freedom and aesthetic experience; and especially (2) inability to develop reflexivity from aesthetic experience. The objectivist critique seeks to reveal the theoretical determinants that have resulted in such damages, recognizing the role played by the Aesthetics of Taste, especially Kant, in the aesthetic approach of Pierre Bourdieu.

Two collections of Afro-Brazilian religious objects that were confiscated by the police between 1891 and the first decades of the 20th century are the subject of reflection in this article. Studying the paths of these collections, the various values of meaning attributed to them were mapped, which, far from being permanent, are also not mutually exclusive. I propose to discuss the symbolic processes and institutional arrangements that have been activated throughout their trajectories. In this endeavor, these collections can be analyzed in two dimensions: On the one hand, as a subjective, affective, and cosmological reality; and on the other hand, as objects of political struggle in the public sphere of a socially organized collective. This article discusses, from the literature, the causes, characteristics, terms and concepts that involve the phenomenon of right wing radicalism, whose resurgence has occurred in several countries around the world since the end of the twentieth century. Although there is not much consensus in the field of research, the literature has presented patterns among the various occurrences and has drawn attention to the fact that this ideology has been installed in democracies, vying for visibility and voter voting through state and state models. authoritarian, restrictive and anti-plural societies, based on offensive and exalted performances against certain social groups (outgroups), modalized as enemies of the nation.

Este artigo aborda o trabalho das mulheres na constituição de corpos/paisagens no Pacífico Negro Colombo-equatoriano. Para tal, versa sobre a centralidade das águas nas vivências e elaborações da territorialidade; sobre a comida como um lugar de encontros e agenciamentos; sobre a mariscagem como uma relação estabelecida pelas mulheres entre elas, as águas e diversos seres hidrobiológicos; sobre as agencialidades que habitam os rios em formas de encantados, pedras e ouro. Adota-se como base epistemológica as narrativas construídas na experiência etnográfica junto às mulheres afro-pacíficas, que em sua maioria são matronas, autoridades familiares e comunitárias que constroem redes de irmandade política e afetiva, conectando o doméstico e o público. Tal concepção sustenta-se na compreensão de que a experiência vivida é fonte de produção de conhecimento e que a produção de conhecimento entre povos afro-diaspóricos traz uma perspectiva coletiva, tendo por vezes a oralidade como plataforma de existência.

O artigo segue o percurso de uma entrevista em profundidade com um profissional de radio que expoe as mudancas na atividade em funcao da modernizacao produtiva, que racionaliza os modos operatorios e altera o sentido do trabalho para esses profissionais. Na primeira secao, e feita uma breve mencao ao contexto de reestruturacao produtiva; em seguida, e apresentada a situacao do presente contrastada com a do passado, na forma de “dois mundos”. As proximas secoes tratam do processo de trabalho, onde e enfatizada a intensificacao e o papel da mudanca tecnica; da luta de classificacoes entre sonoplasta e operador de som; do mercado de trabalho do profissional da area (onde a figura do PJ ganha relevo); e finalmente da transmissao intra-profissional no interior do oficio. In recent years, school sociology has been attacked in many ways, including having its presence in high school threatened on the grounds that it is not important. The importance of a subject, according to the Law Guidelines and Bases of National Education (BRASIL, 1996), is related to multiple dimensions and can be simplified in preparing students for the exercise of citizenship and for the labor market, which involves, to some extent, inclusion in higher education. This paper is the result of a survey of the status attributed to the Sociology discipline in the High School curriculum by students, considering its importance regarding: i) high school curriculum; ii) labor market; iii) daily life and; iv) National High School Exam (Enem). A sample survey was conducted limited to a population of 640 students who attend the 3rd year of high school in 8 schools located in the city of MaceióAL. The results of this research attest to the importance of maintaining it in the high school curriculum.

In the village of Old Bank (located on the Atlantic coast of Panama), experiences and narratives about relatives, spirits and wizards interact with two Christian doctrines (Methodist and Adventist), both present in the village for over a hundred years and both linked to the same historic process by which the Afro-Caribbean ancestors of the local population first came to Old Bank. Based on my 14-month ethnographic research, I investigate the way locals relate to God: this agency that, although (in)visible, is strongly present in their lives, including their bodies. {"title":"Coexistências (In)Visíveis Entre Corpos Afro-Caribenhos, Humanos e Divinos","authors":"Claudia Fioretti Bongianino","doi":"10.5433/2176-6665.2020v25n3p640","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5433/2176-6665.2020v25n3p640","url":null,"abstract":"In the village of Old Bank (located on the Atlantic coast of Panama), experiences and narratives about relatives, spirits and wizards interact with two Christian doctrines (Methodist and Adventist), both present in the village for over a hundred years and both linked to the same historic process by which the Afro-Caribbean ancestors of the local population first came to Old Bank. Based on my 14-month ethnographic research, I investigate the way locals relate to God: this agency that, although (in)visible, is strongly present in their lives, including their bodies. This paper sought to situate relations between the State and civil society in the current context of Brazilian democracy in terms of the emergence of new social policy themes in the governmental agenda, focusing on the mechanisms established to guarantee the socio-state interface in these areas. The perception of the members of the National Council of Food Security, the National Council for Sustainable Rural Development and the National Council of Solidarity Economy on different dimensions of its operation was analyzed in order to understand its dynamics, structure and effectiveness (internal and external). From the systematization of the answers, it was possible to trace the perceptions of these representatives about the performance, evaluation of the operation and influence of the councils addressed in the governmental decision-making structure. Results show that civil society values and strives to consolidate direct democracy mechanisms, as in the case of public policy councils. However, the deliberative character of these boards and the lack of legal instruments to ensure greater power to influence its deliberations in decision making are real obstacles that weaken the potential proposition and building innovative projects in each area in which they relate.
