During their clinical studies on human endometric tissue in normal and pathologic condition authors attempt to determine morphologic changes occurring to the effect of progestagens. Klt is established that progestagens cause typical morphologic changes which are manifested in regression of endometrium on varying scale. The most striking effect is exerted on mitochondria among respective cell organelles; it means the damage of these structures. Decrease of enzymatic processes linked to mitochondrea, caused by effect of progestagens, presumably inhibits cell proliferation. Inhibition of cellular oxidation in pathologic conditions, like in endometric hyperplasia and in highly differentiated cases of endometric cancer, can be of therapeutic effect. Their studies provide opportunity to interpretation of morphologic changes performed in hormone dependent tissues and to better understanding of its role in carcinogenesis of sexual hormones.

Author studied cryostatic sections of lymph node biopsy of 45 untreated patients suffering in lymphogranulomatosis by known T and B lymphocyte, macrophage-histiocyte, Ia and HLA-DR and transferrine receptor specific monoclonal antibodies (moats). In HK-LP, HK-NS, HK-MC and HK-LD the infiltrations were formed by phenotyped lymphocytes contrary to HK-NP, where HK nodules were composed of B-cells. In HK-LPs T lymphocytes were of T-helper phenotypes, and these T-cells were observed in cases of HH-NS and HK-MC, abounding in lymphocytes, besides a few T-suppressor cells. The number of lymphocyte of latter type increased in HK-NS and and HK-MC, poor in lymphocytes and in HK-LD. The giant cells had positive reaction with Leu3a, Leu5, OKIa, HLA-DR and transferrine receptor specific moats. SR cells are such anaplasic cells or probably tumorous cells developed by cell hybridization, which are able to antigen expression characteristic of various hemopoietic cell line and of activated cells, respectively.

In their material of 10 years authors describe 42 myocardial ruptures developed as complication of acute myocardial infarct. The rupture developed in the acute stage of infarct. Rupture of anterior wall infarct is the most frequent. The most decisive clinical factor in development of rupture is the loading in acute stage, from pathologic aspect the strongly infiltrated, transmural infarct is considered the most decisive pathologic factor. Diabetes mellitus and hypertonia can predispose to myocardial rupture.

7 gastrinomes and 1 gastrin-producer complex carcinoma-carcinoid tumor were examined by light and electron microscopical-method and by immunohistochemical method. In six cases, the tumor was in the pancreas or in the wall of duodenum; in two cases its localisation was of extra-gastroenteropancreatic (liver, lymph node). All patients developed Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, three patients bled and one had diarrhea. One patient had other tumors, besides gastrinome, which were characteristic of MEN-I syndrome. By immunohistochemical methods all tumors proved to be gastrin and neuron-specific-enolase positive. In four cases somatostatin positivity, in some cases glucagon, pancreatic polypeptide, S-100 protein, keratin and carcinoembryonal antigen positivity were detected. Relation could not be detected between other polypeptide hormones, produced besides gastrin, and biological behaviour of tumor and clinical symptoms.

Case of ceruminal adenocarcinoma is reported. Tumor was diagnosed in advance stage, and within a month following diagnosis it caused death. Tumor started from right auditory canal, undermined the pyramidal bone and infiltrated great part of right side of base of skull, narrowing great foramen to a certain extent. Metastasizes were only the right of dura. Besides electron microscopic studies, authors performed the immune-histochemical and lectin-histochemical examination of tumor the first time.

In study of lymphogranulomatosis (LGM), epidemiological surveys and so-called "Rye Classification" for separation of histological types significantly helped to get to know the background and circumscription of etiopathogenesis of the disease. In her paper author analysed histological distribution of types, distribution of sex of patients, their average age, age-specific incidence of disease in LGM registered cases of ten years in Malignant Lymphoma Reference Centre. On basis of rate of histological types, compared to each other, and of number of LGM cases in childhood, it can be established that in MLRC incidence of LGM corresponded to so-called intermediary types (II), namely it showed characteristics of distribution between developed and economically underdeveloped countries. Age-specific incidence of 716 LGM cases studied by author was ot bimodal character, age-specific incidence of nodular sclerosis was different from it. Presumably this fact and different nature of LGMs of other type or its different pathogenesis are in the background.

Authors removed dextro-ovary of a patient having 7-9th week of gestation for ovarian cyst during abortion. Preoperative cervical dilation was performed by Enzaprost-F cervical tablet containing 20 mg PGF2 agent. Before and 2, 4 and 6 hours after treatment, serum-progesterone and 17-beta-estradiol level was determined. Drug cervical dilation enabled instrumental termination of pregnancy within 4 hours. Histological finding of yellow body showed initial signs of colloid-cystic degeneration, which was followed by minimal decrease of values of serum-steroid concentrations. Authors presume that change in histological picture of yellow body was caused by effect of cervical tablet containing PGF2 agent.
