This paper is concerned with the developing technique and the pattern of multimedia CAI(Computer Aided Instruction). The process involves educational psychology, computer science, experts system and artificial intelligence. The computer is mainly used to show teaching goal and content; note students’ studying status or control the studying schedule. All steps through teaching must be true of the pedagogical theory and technique; involve multimedia computer technology and modern instructional theory. Therefore, we can accomplish teaching assignment with high efficiency. This paper can play an important role on the design of this kind of software.

An intelligent control system of the abrasive waterjet cutting machine is designed based on ARM9 and &µ C/OS-I I. The input signals (thickness of the workpiece, abrasive flow, surface roughness, pressure of abrasive water-jet) are received by the control system and dealt with by the fuzzy neural network and embedded kernel of ARM9. Then it provides the drive signals of AC servo motor to realize the speed of compensation. Finally, the machine can run rapidly and steadily to achieve the goal of the quality. The experimental results prove that the control system has certain stability and can reach the cutting accuracy.

The majority of independent college has only been less than a decade since it is established. There are many deficiencies in teaching management, the target for training talents and overall quality of students, etc. Therefore, the graduates of computer science of independent college are usually in a disadvantageous position when they compete with the skilled personnel trained by higher vocational schools, and the application-oriented talents trained by research and teaching-oriented colleges and universities for finding a job. To solve it, this paper firstly presents status and difficulties in developing application-oriented abilities of students. And the main related factors for training application-oriented talents are introduced. Then, the model for training application-oriented talents which integrates the ways of learning by doing and cooperative learning is proposed. Last, the difficulties, countermeasures and practical effects for this model are presented. The results show that this model could be better to train application-oriented talents of independent college.

Visualization in scientific computing technology can be used in architecture industry to transform three-dimensional data into images, and assist architectural design, construction, decoration, etc. Its effect is very good. In this paper we first introduced the concept of scientific computing visualization, and explained its basic methods and application areas. Then we discussed its application in the design, construction and decoration, and analyzed its future development prospects. Reasonable suggestions have been pointed out to promote the effective application of scientific computing visualization technology in architecture industry.

Soundness is a vital property of Interorganizational Logical Workflow Nets (ILWN) which can efficiently model cooperative systems. But even though each logical workflow net(LWN) is sound, soundness of arbitrary ILWN is hard to decide. This study analyzes the causes of leading to deadlocks of interface transitions and unboundedness of interface data places: the incorrect order of transitions related to interface data places, conditional routing construct and accumulation of tokens in interface data places. Based on the analysis, this paper defines the concept of T-fair LWNs and proposes an important subclass of ILWNs: T-fair ILWNs. For T-fair ILWNs, this study presents the inheritable conditions of soundness and gives a rigorous analysis approach according to their static net structures only. And then an approach of verifying the soundness of ILWNs composed of n T-fair LWNs is proposed. The concepts and techniques proposed in this study are illustrated with a useful example: an online bookstore and customer system. In addition, This paper discusses some cases which have fewer requirements for interface data. Three-dimension digital map has become an important development direction of map with the fast development of the computer and spatial data acquisition technology, and it has brought a tremendous impact to our lives in the network environment. The paper described the development status and theoretical foundation of the three-dimension digital map, then introduced the construction principle of real three-dimension digital map and virtual three-dimension digital map, and pointed out the importance of the computer graphics in the building of three-dimension digital map. According to the current three-dimension digital map products, the paper provided three methods building three-dimension digital map, namely, CAD technology, OpenGL technology and GIS-based software technology, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of those methods.
