In this article, the number of meanings of the term “idol” as a transcendental symbol in Alisher Navoi's poetry are studied. Originally, the usage of this word in Alisher Navoi's work in its primary meaning, that is to say, in its own sense, examined on the example of fragments and verses in epics and lyrical works. Then, its artistic expression of meanings such as the manifestation of the qualities of self, concupiscence and the true love of holiness as a special mystical expressions are analyzed. In order to reveal fully the essence of symbol and symbols such as lover, scholar, shaikh, zunnar, Ka’ba, wine, ascetic used in parallel with it. In order to explain the meanings of Sufism in a broader way applied for Alisher Navai’s own definitions, as well as ancient sources on the theory of Sufism, special dictionaries of Sayyid Ja’far Sajjadi, Sayyid Sadiq Guharin, Sulayman Uludag, and modern researches.

It is wel-known that during the reign of the Temurids many works on the theory of classical literature were written in the Persian and Turkic languages. Originally from Andijan, Yusuf Badii Andizhani’s “Tajnis ul-lug’at” is one of the scientific-theoretical books. This book devoted to the art of anthethesis is not yet fully known in science. The article provides the first information about the Persian dictionary of anthethesis, compiled by Badii in the fund of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Abu Rayhan Beruni of the Republic of Uzbekistan of Academy of Sciences. It is called by different names because of the author does not indicate his name in the pages of the work. For this reason, the manuscripts of the dictionary include “Tajnisul-lug’at”, “Se lug’oti Badiiy”, “Qasida dar halli lug’ot”, “Salasa se lug’at”, “Manzum dar bayoni lug’ot”, “Nazmul-salosa fil-lug’ata”, ‘Nazmul - salasot”, and “Lug’ot”. And the more article provides information about manuscripts of this source. There are also translations of the work from Persian into Uzbek.

The transformation of the scientific heritage of Alisher Navai from the old Uzbek script into the current alphabet, a radical renewal of its level and quality, the correct understanding of obsolete words, the interpreta-tion of some words and religious terms are one of the most pressing is-sues in the field of textual and source studies. The latest editions of Navai’s works differ little from previous editions. The situation with foreign pub-lications is also unsatisfactory. There are many shortcomings in these edi-tions. The errors and omissions in these publications have not comprehen-sively analyzed yet.The article with the publication of Alisher Navai’s work “Khamsat ul-mutahayyiriyn” published in our country and abroad. In addition to the specific aspects of these editions, here discussed about the shortcomings made in by them, relying on the primary manuscript sources of the work.

The article discusses the issue of rind and being rind, which is lit-tle studied in our literary studies. The roots of the May Revolution, which played an essential role in revealing the nature of Rind, were analyzed from a scientific point of view. The etymology of the Rind symbol and the factors underlying the transformation of this term into a symbol are discussed. In the theoretical sources of Sufism, meditation, which has a certain place in the socio-cultural life of the peoples of the East, is recognized as an ac-tivity embodying important signs of human spiritual maturity. One of the basic concepts in the study of Rindlik is the term "may" (wine). Is the term "may" (wine) a metaphorically used symbol In Rindona poetry or is the connection with its material basis (the intoxicating properties of "may") also preserved? What is the role of harmony between these two aspects in understanding the essence of rind and being rind? The author's thoughts on these issues will help to reveal the truth of rind and being rind

The article describes the influence of historical information on the Crusades in Western European literature in the XVII-XVIII centuries, in particular in French literature, on the works of German writers. It is thought that the images of the Crusades were interpreted as oriental motifs of tolerance and humanism. In German literature, it is especially acknowledged that the ideas of humanity and tolerance were able to illuminate not only the love, respect, and generosity between peoples, but also the Christian atmosphere among enemies and foes. The author emphasizes that through historical sources, more humanity, tolerance, peace and harmony between East and West are interpreted. The main idea in the works of the enlighteners of this period was to strengthen the bonds of mutual understanding and harmony between Muslims and Christians and to stabilize the relations between the West and the East. German enlightener Gotthold Ephraim Lessing portrays Jews, Christians, and Muslims in their dramas as partners, not rivals. In this way, the author finds a solution to the political, economic, social and cultural issues facing the present and the future, and contributes to the wider promotion of inter-religious and intercultural tolerance and humanism in the world.

In 1958, a catalog of Navoi's works was created in Turkey by the Ogah Sirri Levend (1897–1978). The catalog contains a monographic description of the manuscripts of Alisher Navoi's works stored in funds in Turkey. The catalog consists of three parts - preface, description and conclusion. The preface contains a study of the author's important views on the value of Navoi's works, their quantity and manuscripts. This catalog was an important source not only during the period of its creation, but also for the development of modern Navoi studies, in particular, the field of textual criticism and source study.

The article discusses the emergence of the legend of Layli and Majnun in the form of epics in Turkish and Persian literature, which was passed from language to language among the Arab peoples. The idea that the Majnun is a historical figure or a fabricated character is supported by the views of scholars. The two great epics in Turkish literature, Alisher Navoi and Muhammad Fuzuli's "Layli and Majnun" are compared. As a result, of our comparisons, opinions and conclusions about the weight, genre, composition, individuality of the protagonist and events of both epics are expressed. The similarities and differences between the two artists' approaches to the topic will be analyzed.

Based on the life and work of various personalities, the article concludes about the significance of the qualities that underlie the concept of futuwvat. The tolerance and high spiritual values behind this maslak are explained on the basis of sources. In order to substantiate his theoretical views, the author analyzed important events in the life of Ibrahim (a.s.) and at the same time important aspects of the activities of Pahlavon Mahmud, who was firmly on the path of futuvat, based on sources. It is shown that Futuwwat, in fact, feeds on Sufi moral rules and mores, that is, the Islamic religion and Sufism are the main factors that keep its foundation strong, and that this profession, reinforced by Islamic and Sufi ethics, is considered an important school of education in life.

One of the themes in the history of the literature of Muslim na-tions, which has been a source of inspiration for creative people for thou-sands of years, is Me'raj. Miraj is a great miracle given by God to our proph-et Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and it is a great status that no other prophet has been given. From this point of view, the event of Miraj captivated the poets, firstly, it is the poet's duty and duty of the community to describe the Prophet's praise, his greatness, high honor and great status, and secondly, it is a great way to give a worthy response to the predecessors. was also a testing ground. Although most of the treatises on the theoretical foundations of classical poetics in Arabic, Persian and Turkish are devoted to the science of aruz, the science of rhyme, and the science of art as a whole, these treatises were created under the influence of each other. One of the sources is Abu Zakari's (Al-Khatib) at-Tabrizi's treatise, “Al-kafi fi-l aruzva-l qavafi (Suffice it to say about Aruz and rhyme). “Al-kafi fi-l aruzva-l qavafiy (“Aruz and enough about rhyme”) is an important treatise in Arabic on the science of aruz and rhyme, which does not contain theoretical ideas about the science of bade. This pamphlet is devoted to the circles of desire, and the scientist has proved on a theoretical basis the harmony of weight and rhyme on the basis of a specific system.
