The article shows that according to the content of the manuscript copied by Sultanali Mashhadi in 905/1499 - 1500 and considered until now as Navoi's "Terma divan", it is actually "Navodir un-nihoya" divan. Attention is drawn to the fact that this manuscript is the last copy of the book "Navodir un-nihoya" edited by Navoi. The table attached to the article shows the matlas of the poems in this manuscript divan, the number of their stanzas and the page.

In the middle of the last century in the field of Uzbek textology and source studies, significant achievements have been made in the study of Alisher Navoi's works, in particular, in implementation of mass publica-tions of the poet's epics "Khamsa" and compilation of their scientific-criti-cal texts. Porso Shamsievis a textologist who created a school for the study of manuscripts of the Khamsa epics and composed its scientific and critical texts. His contribution to many publications created during this period is great. Therefore, the study of scientific and practical activities of the scien-tist in this field, the acquisition of his scientific experience, as well as the theoretical examination of publications made by P. Shamsiev and his di-rect participation are among the priorities of textology studies. Of course, the study of the activities of scholars, the mastery of their experience in publishing and composing scientific-critical texts is very important in the formation of new views in the field of textology, its scientific and theoreti-cal basis, in general, in finding solutions to existing problems. This article analyzes the history of the publication of the epics "Khamsa" and related processes, in general, the first achievements of Uzbek textual studies, the experience gained and their significance, as well as relevant scientific conclusions.

Alisher Navoi enriched Uzbek literature with many novelties and experiences. In particular, the great poet raised the tradition of writing introduction to a high level in terms of image system, composition, style, poetry and content. In the preface of his masnawi (poetic form), Alisher Navoi skillfully combines the reader's point of view, his own experiences, the content of the work and the philosophy of tasawwuf (mysticism). It is noteworthy that he is able to depict a preface on a subject and a theme in a new literary landscape and poetic variations each time. This article discusses the preface of masnawi of Alisher Navoi's work “Sadd-i-Iskandari” (Alexander's Wall), which focuses on the poet's writing skills of preface. The poetry of the preface of “Sadd-i-Iskandari” (Alexander's Wall), the connection of the chapters in the preface with the content of the work, as well as the role of revealing the essence of the work are analyzed. In order to enlighten the writing skill of preface of Alisher Navoi, it is based on a comparative-historical method and is compared with the preface to Nizami Ganjavi's Eskandar-Nâmeh (‘The Book of Alexander’). And it is provided necessary conclusions.

The article examines the Qur'anic quotes used in the verses of Abu Muhammad al-Qasim al-Hariri (1054-1122), which demonstrate one of the main forms of medieval Arabic rhetoric. It is known that the Qur'an had a great influence on the literature of all other nations in the medieval Arab and Muslim world. Not only do religious literature and pamphlets on Muslim law reflect the spirit of Islam and are enriched with Qur'anic quotations but also other works of medieval art of expression also have this effect. In medieval Arabic literature, we consider this aspect in the example of Hariri's maqamats which are considered to be the most perfect Arabic short stories on eloquence, knowledge in various fields, asceticism, and other subjects. The article analyzes the use of Qur'anic quotes in the speech of two important characters, the narrator and the protagonist, in different situations, themes and relationships, and the protagonist's justification of his actions through these Qur'anic quotes.

The Comparison of the six Diwans (poetry)(Based on the newly discovered the copy of Tehran of “Bada'i al-bidaya”)In this article, the six diwans (poetry) of Alisher Navoi are analysed comparatively, including “Ilk devon”, Oqquyunli muxlislar devoni”, the first pro-diwan of “Bada’i al-Bidaya” (the copy of Paris), the copy of Tashkent that was copied in the poet’s life and considered the last version known to us, the copy written by Abdujamil Katib that was published as the second volume of “The complete works of Alisher Navoi”, and a newly discovered the copy of Tehran. The composition and structure of these diwans (poetry) are compared, providing the necessary conclusions, as well as the most important views are expressed on the periodization of Navoi’s poetry.

The collection “Mazhmui muhammasoti ash-shuaroi Feruzshakhiy” is the largest source of lyric works by the authors of the Khorezm literary environment. According to the king’s decree, the complex was formed in the second half of the XIX sentury by Tabibi. It includes examples of poetry by contemporaries of the author. This resource, which provides valuable information about the literary environment of its time, is now stored in the main fund of the Abu Rayhan Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan under number 1134. The collection differs from other collections in the composition of the genre, that is, muhammas. One of the collection’s most popular poets is Mutrib Hanaharab ibn Muhammad Hasan Devan Haji Tabib.The article analyzes the muhammas of Mutrib Hanaharabi, who are associated with the gazalles of master poets Agahi and Feruz. The artistic features of the Mutrib muhammasses are studied, which are not in handwritten copies. The weight, significance and novelty of the poetic gazal, as well as the evolutionary nature of the content, are proven by the original sources. Muhammasses and musaddasses of the poet, which are introduced in the collection, are compared with verses in manuscripts and studied in the fields of textology and source study.

The article reveals the peculiarities of the artistic structure of Alisher Navoi's romantic ghazals based on the analysis. It deals with the great poet's skill in the use of visual aids and rhyming techniques related to word repetition. Navoi, aware of the question-and-answer style in the ghazals of his great predecessors such as Hafiz and Lutfi, raised the traditional question-and-answer session between the lover and the lover in the ghazal "Jong'a chun dermen..." It is defined as the artistic discovery of peculiarities, such as the beginning, the course of events, rising actions, climax, and the conclusion. The artistic skills of the great poet in the use of the art of tardi’aks are analyzed, and the analysis of the formation of a unique semantic-compositional structure of romantic poems with the help of such pictorial means based on word repetition is revealed. The analysis also reveals the peculiarities of the musajja ghazals based on the poet's ghazal verses, the influence of the rhyme and internal radifs on the artistic structure of the ghazal, and the fact that Navoi's musajja ghazals were written not only in the hazaj, but also in the rajaz and ramal.

Among the other genres of classical literature of the East, the genre of the qasida (or qasidah, often translated as ode) is relatively old and played an important role in the development of poetic thinking. Furthermore, the praise (madh) is one of the most widely described issues in classical literature, as well as it developed simultaneously with the genre of qasida (or qasidah, often translated as ode). The issue about the genre of qasida (or qasidah, often translated as ode) and the praise (madh) in the history of our literature is so intertwined that is impossible to imagine them separately. In this research, the author analyzed these two issues together. This article discusses the qasida (or qasidah, often translated as ode) called masnu' (meaning full of arts) dedicated to Alisher Navoi by Ahli Shirazi, a representative of Persian-Tajik literature. This article discusses the qasida (or qasidah, often translated as ode) called masnu' (meaning full of arts) dedicated to Alisher Navoi by Ahli Shirazi, a representative of Persian-Tajik literature. In Uzbek linguistics, areal linguistics has entered into the stage of development. It should be noted that in this issue A. Dzhuraeva's research plays a methodological role. Nevertheless, in the scientific literature there are studies in which some questions of this problem have been considered without using the term "areal linguistics". The article covers in detail one of the problems of areal linguistics, that is, the problem of taxon and its development in Uzbek areal linguistics. The article also highlights the following issues: taxonomic linguistics, its scientific sources, its relation to linguistic geography, the essence of the taxon phenomenon - its geography, the influence of surrounding languages and dialects, features of historical development. The article also deals with the content of the concept of a taxon, the taxonomic features of the Uzbek-speaking errey, the role of geographical location, the influence of the contact language and dialects, the historical development of each taxon in determining the characteristics of taxa, and draws attention to the fact that each taxon has its own historical development. The variety of taxa based on the examples of the Turkic languages, the Uzbek language and its dialects.

The article focuses on the interpretation of the image of Alexander in fiction, one of the most widely used images in Eastern and Western literature. Alisher Navoi's epic “Sadd-i-Iskandari” and its influence on the written and oral literature of the XVII-XIX centuries are considered. Prose interpretations of “Iskandarnama”, translated works and independent short stories created in the style of folklore are analyzed on the basis of primary sources, manuscripts and lithographs. An epic “Sadd-i-Iskandari” by Navoi and its prose statement “Iskandarnama”, a translation from Persian, an independent short story “Iskandarnama” written in Uzbek are described according to their specific features. The controversial places that have been interpreted in the world literature, the attitude to the ideas in the plates. A comparative analysis of the plots shows that the “Shah-Namai Turkish” had a significant influence on the creation of the “Iskandarnama” in the Uzbek language.
