This article analyzes the concepts and characteristics of autonomy, autonomous learning and self-regulated learning, the ways in which they can be favored in students, the conditions that benefit or hinder the development of this type of learning, as well as the function and contribution they have in the learning process; finally, an intervention proposal is presented in order to reorient teaching practices. The objective was to investigate the factors of formal and non-formal learning processes that affect autonomous development, promoters of independent learning and self-efficacy beliefs, as well as the meanings and practices that teacher-students have around this type of learning. This work is the product of a mixed methodological approach research that addresses the postgraduate level students of the Universidad Pedagogica Nacional (Mexico) who are teachers of basic education. Among the findings we identify a clear relationship between the type of education, the parenting discipline and the development of an academic autonomy, so we presume that the educational aspiration to train autonomous subjects is not the exclusive responsibility of the school, however, the teaching practice has great relevance in promoting autonomous development processes.

This study is a criticism review of the New Historical Novel category proposed by Seymour Menton in 1993. It is suggested that the implied reading frame in this category would excessively show the deconstructive operations of this novels, limiting their estetic and criticism potential to their capacty of dismantle the official discourse of historicism. It is proposed, therefore, extend its potential meanings, including their ability to rework the past, multiplying it, showing as always capable of being reinvented and thus revitalizing its own historicity. To do this, it is resorted to historical novel theory of Lukacs and to the characterization of the live of the signs in the novels that proposed by authors such as Noe Jitrik, Antonio Candido and Julia Kristeva.

Among the first measures to contain the advance of COVID-19 was the closure of schools at all levels of the educational system, with this there was an imminent need to generate mechanisms in which teachers could continue to carry out tasks at a distance, overcoming difficulties in the transition from face-to-face to virtual environment. Qualitative data are recovered from an open survey applied to 13 participants; fourth-year students and occupational therapist teachers who participated in the investigation “” Teaching role of the occupational therapist in higher education institutions in the metropolitan region of Chile. Four subcategories are obtained on the influence of the pandemic on the teaching role, adaptation behaviors, benefits of the pandemic on the teaching role and social dynamics in the university context during the pandemic. An over-demand of the teaching role is seen during the pandemic, making it difficult to fulfill academic objectives related to the development of basic skills for the profession. In addition, there are opportunities for the development of distance education by the occupational therapist, since he has knowledge of the environmental factors that would allow him to have an optimal performance in this modality and extrapolate it to telemedicine.

The objective of this study was focused on conducting a review of the current state of experimental activities as a strategy to achieve scientific literacy at school stages. Currently, experimental activities, rather than being associated with problem-solving activities, are oriented to be practical complements of theoretical classes, which implies that it will cause a lack of interest in students for the study of science. Experimental activities are a valuable instance to bring students closer to the study of natural sciences, and we believe that maintaining the investigative character is essential to awaken interest and to achieve an adequate development of scientific literacy and, therefore, critical thinking.

This paper analyzes three Chilean graphic novels that use science fiction rhetoric and aesthetics to constitute fables that are developed with a look at the Chilean dictatorship and on the figure of Augusto Pinochet. The review of these novels allows to identify the way in which the character of the dictator is configured both from the textual narrative and from a visual perspective through the use of illustrations, combining a multimodal discourse that feeds from memory, history and science fiction, giving life to a character Pinochet.

A descriptive documentary research is developed that systematizes the experience of the competency approach of the University of Talca in the Fundamental Training Program, based on the service learning methodology, focused on the analysis of participatory methodologies and university institutional requirements. It describes the service-learning methodology, supported by authors such as Tobon and Quezada, comprehensive training and skills; Mendia, service learning; Folgueiras and Sabariego, IAP. This methodology develops skills of knowing, knowing how to do and knowing how to be, applying knowledge acquired during their professional training in a social intervention project with characteristics of social responsibility.

School Mathematical discourse obscures the uses of accumulation that occur in other domains of knowledge and in people's daily lives. Framed in socioepistemological theory, this research aimed to develop the modeling category as a resignification of uses of accumulation in two specific situations of variation, one belonging to the domain of Phenology and the other to the domain of Economy. Said development allows to give bases for the design of school situations of socialization in higher education whose purpose is to incorporate these uses into the construction processes of the concept of defined integral, considering the functionality of mathematical knowledge, the epistemological plurality and the transversality of knowledge.

The aim of this study is to provide a synoptic view of the route and presence of environmental education in the school curriculum and in the training of basic education teachers in Chile. For this, a bibliographic and documentary review was carried out. The data was analyzed based on its content. The results indicate that there is some concern for the incorporation of environmental education in the school curriculum, as well as in university training projects, evidencing a partial approach to it. As a conclusion, it is evident that there is a willingness to approach the environmental issue, but it is necessary that it be emphasized even more, in order to achieve better results.

Vivimos en una pluralidad de esteticas (Gombrich, 1999) o modos de sensibilidad, que en su mas lograda expresion tienen que ver con el placer estetico vinculado a las bellas artes (Valery, 2018). Sin embargo, esto empana la posibilidad anticipadora resolutiva de un horizonte extatico de futuro (Heidegger, 2015), si solo se deja ver la diferencia superficial de los entes y no el orden unitario que subyace a estas (Heraclito, 2009), con lo cual se cae en la medianidad de un presente que no reconoce su futuro, ni su pasado (Heidegger, 2015; Jaspers, 1958). Teniendo como base la hipotesis de que una expresion de dicho orden en las artes tiene que ver con que lo mas avanzado coincide con lo mas tradicional (Gombrich, 1999), se estudiaron textos actuales que hacen referencia a diferentes expresiones artisticas, buscando concurrencias conceptuales (Grondin, 1999), que indicialmente (Ginzburg, 2004) relevaron tal orden subyacente en el modo de una estetosfera como una estructura ontologica de sensitividad, desde la cual emerge en la actualidad una semiosfera epistemologica, entretejida de tensiones entre nucleos conceptuales descentrados que actualizan elementos culturales del medioevo. EnglishIn the current postmodern (Lyotard, 1996) semiosphere (Lotman 2000, 1996), the time of the avantgardes has passed. We live in a plurality of aesthetic (Gombrich, 1999) or modes of sensitivity which in its most successful expression have to do with the aesthetic pleasure related to fine arts (Valery, 2018). However, this tarnishes the possibility of an anticipatory resolution of an ecstatic horizon of future (Heidegger, 2015), if only is allowed to see the surface difference of entities and not the unit order that underlies these (Heraclito, 2009), with which we falls in the medium of a present that does not recognize their future or their past (Heidegger, 2015; Jaspers, 1958). Taking as a basis the hypothesis that an expresion of that order in the arts, has to do with the ultimate coincides with the more traditional (Gombrich, 1999), it was studied current texts that refer to different artistic expressions, looking for conceptual convergences (Grondin, 1999) that indexically (Ginzburg, 2004) relieved such underlying in the mode of an aestheticsphere as an ontolical structure of sensitivity, from which emerges an epistemological semiosphere today, interweaving of tensions between decentralized conceptual nuclei that updated cultural elements of the middle ages.
