Developing a Computer Based Test Application to Measure Braille Literation Ability for Special Teacher 基于计算机的特殊教师盲文读写能力测试应用的开发

This study aimed to develop an application that can be used to measure the literacy skills of special teacher in braille literacy. The method used research and development. This research was started from (1) collecting data and information; (2) planning; (3) development of product forms; (4) preliminary field testing; (5) product revisions; (6) operational field testing; (7) operational product revisions; 8) Dissemination. The result of this research was the creation of an application that can be used to measure the ability of special educators in braille literacy. This application can be used in all regular schools that have special teachers.

Website Based Training for Choosing University Major to Reduce Career Indecision in High School Students 基于网站的大学专业选择培训,减少高中生的职业优柔寡断

More than two million high school students graduate per year in Indonesia. majority of them struggle to enter their favorite departments in universities with various options of majors. But, a number of students have the career decision difficulties to choose the relevant major. This study is aimed at knowing the effects of delivering the website based training for choosing major in university for high school students. A number of 102 high school students participated in this training (male, female). The study was run using quantitative quasi experiment method with pretest-posttest design. The measurement was done using Career Indecision Scale adapted from Gati, Krausz & Osipow, 1996 (r = 0.875; p<0.05). The study was carried out with quasi-experimental model with pretest-posttest design. Results indicate that the indecision of participants about their career decreased.

The Effect of Nutritional Status, Playing Activities, and Physical Fitness on the Motor Abilities of Children of Kubu Jambi Province 营养状况、游戏活动和体质对库布占比省儿童运动能力的影响

This research aims to find whether the effect of nutritional status (X1), playing activities (X2) and physical fitness (X3) on the motor abilities. The research method used Path analysis. The populations of this research were the ethnic children in Kubu, Meranti Regency, Jambi Province. Samples were drawn using purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 30 people. The results of data analysis show that the path coefficient value is significant and linear, where the magnitude of the influence both directly and indirectly is as follows:(1) there is a direct effect of nutritional status on the motor skills with a tcount greater than ttable, value 2,552 > 1,701 and influence amounting to 16,56%; (2) there is a influence between playing activities on the motor abilitiess with a tcount greater than the ttable, the value of 2,453> 1.701 and a contribution of 16,97%;( 3) there is the influence of physical fitness on motor skills with a tcount greater than the value of ttable, the value of 1,843 > 1.701 and a influence of 9,54%; 4) there is an indirect effect of nutritional status through physical fitness on the motor abilities with a tcount greater than the value of ttable, value 1,805 > 1.701 and a influence of 24,44%; and (5) there is an indirect effect of playing activities through physical fitness on motor skills with a tcount greater than the ttable, the value of 3,236 > 1.701 and a influence of 0,41%.

Optimizing the Vision and Mission of Schools in Learning Leadership Based on Action Learning Schools 基于行动学习型学校优化学习型领导的学校愿景与使命

Vision and mission are the ultimate goals that serve as guidelines for school activities and serve as the basis for the strength of quality service to students. However, many schools only make the vision and mission merely exist but do not become meaningful guidelines for the delivery of education. This study was aimed to describe and analyze the implementation of the vision and mission in school management. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. Leadership means the ability to influence, motivate, invite, and direct others to a predetermined goal. Leadership without subordinates has no meaning, otherwise, subordinates without leadership will be wild and perverted. Leadership is not just giving authority and authority from a leader to subordinates, but in giving that authority.

How Children’s Creativity During the Covid-19 Pandemic? Covid-19大流行期间儿童的创造力如何?

This study was conducted to describe the creativity of early childhood and how to develop children's creativity during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive qualitative literature. Obtaining data was compiled, analyzed, and concluded. The results show that the creativity of early childhood during the Covid-19 period can be developed through online learning, using social modeling and traditional games. This method requires synergy from parents and teachers to optimize every aspect of children's development and creativity when learning from home.

The Effect of Exercise Variations in Improving Students’ Volleyball Forearm Pass Ability 运动变化对提高学生排球前臂传球能力的影响

This research was conducted due to the students low ability in volleyball forearm pass technique at the Physical Education and Recreation Study Program. Therefore, many students had to repeat the test in the midterm and final semester exams. The research aims to determine the effect of exercise variations in improving the volleyball forearm pass ability by the students at the Physical Education and Recreation Study Program. Furthermore, an experiment with a one group pretest-postest design was used. The population consists of 150 students that participated in the volleyball courses in the semester from January June 2020. The samples were taken using probability sampling techniques from 10% of the total population of 15 people. Data collection was carried a test of forearm pass skills, and the volleyball test from Brady. The data analysis technique was performed using the t-test over the assumed prerequisite test for data normality. The expected technological readiness in this study was TKT 3 using variation exercise methods to improve the students' skills in the forearm strike technique. The results showed that there was a significant influene between the exercise variations on the ability of the volleyball forearm pass technique with tcount = 8.52 = ttable = 2.14.

E_Newspaper Literacy-Based Learning Model to Optimize Students’ Critical Thinking/Problem Solving in Higher Education Institutions 基于报刊素养的学习模式:优化高校学生批判性思维/问题解决能力

The aims of this research are: 1) To design a learning model for the Introduction to Accounting course based on E_Newspaper Literacy to optimize students’ Critical Thinking / Problem Solving Skills in higher education institutions, 2) To produce a valid learning model for the Introduction to Accounting course based on to optimize students’ Critical Thinking / Problem Solving Skills in higher education institutions. E_Newspaper Literacy-Based Learning Model were developed by using ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). For the first year of the research, it only focuses on the development stage. The instruments of data employed were in the form of observation sheets and questionnaires. The developed model was validated by experts in education, accounting, language, and info-graphics. The feedback and suggestions to improve the model were given in written forms. The results of this study are 1) The current learning model used for the Introduction to Accounting course has not yet optimized students' critical thinking / problem solving skills, 2) E_Newspaper Literacy-Based Learning Model was designed to optimize students’ Critical Thinking / Problem Solving Skills, 3) The valid design of E_Newspaper Literacy-Based Learning Model for Introduction to Accounting course to optimize students’ Critical Thinking / Problem Solving Skills has been achieved.

This research was done due to the importance of Hiragana letters mastery by beginner Japanese students, especially students of Japanese for General Purpose Course of Universitas Negeri Padang. This is because the Hiragana letters are used in the teaching and learning process. The large number of Hiragana letters makes the students find it difficult to learn. In addition, the Hiragana letters have many similarities in forms. Moreover, the order of writing, intonation, pronunciation (hatsuon), double consonants (sakuon), and long vowels must also be paid attention well. This descriptive quantitative research aims at determining the students’ abilities to write and read the Hiragana letters in Japanese for General Purpose Course. It also includes the obstacles they experienced in the teaching and learning process as well as the efforts they made to overcome those difficulties. Based on the test results, it is found that the students’ abilities to read the Hiragana letters as obtained from the multiple choice test (59.4) are categorized as sufficient. Meanwhile, their abilities to write as obtained from the essay test (53.9) are categorized as low. It requires efforts from both lecturers and students to improve the students’ mastery. This research is designed to provide an overview to lecturers teaching the Japanese for General Purpose Course at Universitas Negeri Padang about the students' abilities. The results are also expected to be taken into consideration for lecturers in designing their learning strategies, teaching materials, and learning evaluation.

Determinants of Side Kick Ability Athlete of Tarung Derajat 德拉吉邦运动员侧踢能力的决定因素

The aim of this study was to examine the impact of leg muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power on Tarung Derajat side kick ability through reaction speed. This study enhances the existing literature regarding the effect of leg muscle strength and leg muscle power on the side-kick ability of Tarung Derajat and includes reaction speed (simple and total), which is often trained to determine the level of performance in martial arts. In this study, subjects were randomly assigned n = 60 people to the test to see the ability of each of the proposed variables. Next, to examine the model structure effect of this study, we made use of IBM SPSS software. The results showed that leg muscle strength, leg muscle explosive power, and reaction speed had a significant impact on the ability of the Tarung Derajat side kick both directly, indirectly and totally. These results illustrate the important role of the direct influence of the yield power of the leg muscles which have a major influence on the side kick abilities of Tarung Derajat athletes. The implications for practitioners and researchers are discussed in detail.

Can Science Develop Creativity in Early Children? 科学能培养幼儿的创造力吗?

Today society needs people who are not only smart but also creative as a form of actualization towards a dignified nation, therefore the writing in this article collects various literacy sources and includes all available written and digital sources related to how to develop creativity through science. Creativity is an important aspect to be developed in individuals because it is a reflection of self-manifestation in creative thinking, the creative side exists in humans, but stimulation and support from internal and external factors can give results in the development or failure of creativity in each individual. For this reason, cultivating the spirit of creativity from an early age in children is a must for educators in preparing creative generations for the future. Various ways can be done to stimulate the development of creativity, one of which is to include scientific concepts in the learning and play process, effective science activities in developing children's creativity, including playing exploration and experimenting by utilizing the surrounding environment, developing creativity through science can teach children to respect and love nature more.
