The antimicrobial resistance of environmental strains has a serious impact on the aquatic ecosystem, as well as on human and veterinary medicine. One way to verify problems related to the presence of drugs in the environment is to carry out monitoring using bacteria that are bioindicators of contamination, such as Escherichia coli. Given this scenario, the objective of this study was to carry out a short review on antimicrobial resistance in pediatric Escherichia coli from environmental samples. Thus, this study constitutes a bibliographic review of an analytical nature, dealing with the theme of antimicrobial resistance in environments; topic that has been much discussed in the academic community. It was defined as inclusion of inclusion: articles published between the years 2016 and 2022, in the PubMed database. As a result, it was found that in the analyzed years, there was an oscillation of publications on themes related to resistance, plasmids and integrons. Thus, we conclude that research on antimicrobial resistance in environmental strains should be increasingly carried out, with the objective of monitoring and verifying which drugs are more present in the environment as the consequences generated are still unknown.

The following research presents compensatory techniques for urban drainage, through a literature review. Among the compensatory methods, four different techniques were chosen: permeable pavement, green roof, rain garden and retention basin, to present their operating principles and environmental benefits, compare the positive environmental impacts of compensatory techniques in comparison with traditional approaches to urban drainage and analyze case studies of different cities that have successfully implemented the compensatory techniques under study. The main objective of the study was achieved, as it can be clearly understood that the techniques under study contributed to the reduction of floods, reducing the impacts caused by them.

In view of this, classes in public schools in Pelotas in the education network moved from face-to-face teaching to remote teaching. This transposition in the teaching modality guided some concerns, such as investigating whether the teachers felt prepared to carry out this transposition from the face-to-face and how is teaching going after these two years of the pandemic. The road network has economic and social importance, through which products flow and people move, which is why it must always be maintained. The objective of this study is to describe the asphalt restoration process using Hot Machined Bituminous Concrete (CBUQ) in the resurfacing of the asphalt road in the Gavião Peixoto - Nova Pauliceia – Nova Europa section. Bibliographic research was carried out with a case study. It was possible to observe the execution activities of repairs located superficially or deeply, with the sealing of cracks and/or hole filling operations, connection painting, and resurfacing with a 5.0 cm layer of Hot Machined Bituminous Concrete (CBUQ ) focus of this study. With this process it was possible to reinforce the coating, offering better rolling comfort conditions for users and at the same time protecting and improving the pavement structure.

Based on the exposition of the current appeal procedure of exceptional appeals (introduced by Law n. 13.256 of 2016), the study intends to analyze the current methods and demands of the Brazilian binding precedents reviewing and overruling process, pointing out the problems the current system implicates, such as the difficulty for complainants to access Superior Courts and resultant obstacles to the litigants’ participation in precedents’ permanence discussions and its democratic legitimacy. Comparisons between the Brazilian system and that of common law countries are pondered in order to recognize a possible solution, which is to employ anticipatory overruling, by making use of specific revision interpretative techniques of the rule contained in the precedent.

Understanding inclusive education as the guarantee of a human right expands the possibilities of seeing the potential of students eligible for special education services in differences. In this scenario, the profile of the teacher develops, as he/she is faced with numerous challenges in the exercise of his/her profession. In this sense, the objective of this article is to verify how pedagogical work is taking place with students eligible for special education services, in a common room in the final years of elementary school. In order to achieve the proposed objective, the chosen methodology considered a qualitative approach, by carrying out a case study, with a teacher in the final years of elementary school, in which it was carried out, for the purposes of data collection technique , a semi-structured interview using a previously established instrument, through a script of questions. The results showed the understanding that the pedagogical work carried out with students eligible for special education services in the final years of elementary school is progressing in a satisfactory and positive manner, seeking to be based on an effective partnership between a regular education teacher and a special education teacher. , in the quest to develop potential in the aforementioned students based on consideration of their specificities.

The last few years have presented an optimistic scenario for the adhesive tape industry on international scale. However, producers are being challenged to keep their operational structure competitive. Market demands and regulatory requirements also add increasing pressure for more sustainable products and more efficient production logistics processes. In this context, the present work evaluates the state of the art in innovation and environmental sustainability trends in the adhesive tapesindustry. Such environmental sustainability evaluation comprehended water usage in production processes, use of renewable electricity, CO2 emissions, use of organic solvents, waste recycling from the production process and circular economy initiatives by the main producers in this industrial field. These indicators are those that have been worked on by companies in the market and are in line with studies being carried out in the academic field.

Packaging and crepe adhesive tapes are common items in the retail market and in the daily lives of Brazilian consumers. In this article, through a case study, an evaluation was carried out on these types of adhesive tapes sold in retail regarding possible converting processes, cost calculation, capital investment and considerations on finished product quality and maintenance of machinery in the production process. In a two-step converting process, rewinding followed by cutting, it was observed lesser need for capital investment, lesser need for specialized labor and lower maintenance costs. For a single-step converting process, with simultaneous rewinding and cutting, it was observed better productivity, higher quality and lower finished product cost due to the more efficient converting process. However, for this type of single-step process, a bigger capital investment is necessary due to investment in more complex machinery, higher expenditure on more qualified labor and maintenance. A cost sensitivity analysis of the converting processes and finished product was also carried out depending on the desired output in order to compare process scenarios at different output levels for both products.

The present study addresses the theme of "Literacy and Playfulness" and was developed in response to the need to understand how these concepts are presented in research, since when worked together, they provide tools for the construction of effective pedagogical practices, making the teaching and learning process meaningful and respectful. Therefore, the objective is to understand the existing relationships regarding Literacy and Playfulness in research. In line with the proposed objective, a bibliographic survey was conducted using the Proceedings of the Scientific Meetings of ANPEd (National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education), searching for research presented in the Working Groups on Literacy, Reading, and Writing between the years 2012 and 2012. Through access to the complete articles, it was observed that there is a gap between the concepts of Literacy and Playfulness, which are predominantly presented in distinct ways, not demonstrating connections between them and emphasizing the limited interest and lack of knowledge about the potential enhancement of learning when they are addressed together. It is concluded, then, that there is a gap in research regarding the proposed topic, reinforcing the need to demonstrate relevance and understanding that the gap reflects existing deficiencies in the educational area.

This study explores the realisation of the fundamental right to education for incarcerated individuals in accordance with articles 205 and 208, item I of the CF/88, as well as article 11, item IV of the Penal Execution Law (Law no. 7210). To achieve this objective, an examination of current legal provisions on prison education within the national legal system was conducted, followed by an analysis of the actual conditions present at Mário Negócio Agricultural Penitentiary and Seridó State Penitentiary, situated in Mossoró and Caicó cities respectively, both in Rio Grande do Norte. After carrying out bibliographical and documentary research, as well as case studies, our conclusion is that the city of Mossoró more effectively materialises the right to education. Notably, our research yielded an important finding: Resolution 391/2021, issued by the National Council of Justice, has enhanced the right to remission for reading in certain penitentiaries, including Mossoró. Thus, this study sheds light on the activities of Magistrate Cinthia Cibele Diniz de Medeiros, who plays an active role in promoting education through national events. In conclusion, this article does not provide a definitive discussion on the topic but rather emphasizes the necessity for further empirical research, which can aid professionals dealing with education in building effective action plans.
