Environmental Impact Assessment: A Tool for Sustainable Development 环境影响评价:可持续发展的工具

The planet is divided between people who are alive and those who are deceased. However, a sizable portion belongs to people who have not yet been born. Anticipatory and participative development techniques are necessary for informed decision-making on the best use of natural resources and sustainable development to ensure that development and environmental health go hand in hand. One of these tools is the environmental impact assessment (EIA). This essay aims to define the idea of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and analyse its numerous components, including its basic ideals, guiding principles, shortcomings, and recommendations for improvement.

Systematic Review of the Association between Cancer-Related Dementia and Mality: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis 癌症相关性痴呆与疾病之间关系的系统评价:系统评价和荟萃分析

Dementia caused by cancer is a significant health issue that affects cancer survivors, particularly those survivors who have undergone radiation therapy and chemotherapy. This condition can lead to cognitive impairment and a decline in quality of life. Furthermore, the influence of cancer-related dementia on mortality rates is not well understood. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to investigate the association between cancer-related dementia and mortality. Our findings suggest that cancer-related dementia is associated with increased mortality among cancer survivors. This highlights the need for improved screening and management of cognitive impairment among cancer patients, particularly those at higher risk of developing dementia.

Effect of addition of Alccofine on Coal Bottom Ash Concrete Properties 掺加乙醇对粉煤灰混凝土性能的影响

The effect of addition of ultra-fine material i.e. Alccofine on the properties of coal bottom ash-assisted concrete has been studied in this study. Alccofine is added in steps in the 40% bottom ash concrete to revive the properties of bottom ash concrete. A proportion of 5 to 20% has been added as an alternative to cement. Results showed that the replacement of cement with Alccofine has improved the compressive strength of the concrete.
本文研究了掺加超细材料铝精对煤底助凝混凝土性能的影响。在40%底灰混凝土中分步添加乙醇碱,以恢复底灰混凝土的性能。添加了5%至20%的比例作为水泥的替代品。结果表明,用铝精替代水泥可提高混凝土的抗压强度。
