Despite being geographically separated and obstructed, the historical and cultural trajectories of Vietnam and Korea bear some resemblances. Right from the Middle Ages, the influence of Chinese civilization and the ties of tributary relations with Chinese monarchies made Vietnam and Korea have many historical and cultural similarities. Besides, the contacts between Vietnamese and Joseon envoys in China were an essential opportunity to promote cultural exchange and understanding between the two countries. Studies on cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea throughout history have attracted interest from many researchers, most of whom focus on studying these countries’ cultural exchange through contacts amongst their envoys in China. This article explores the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea through the contacts, meetings, and poems of the Vietnamese and Korean ambassadors in China. Cultural exchange activities are expressed in detail through the exchange of poetry and literature between the ambassadors; exchange about the political regime, history, geography, customs, and habits; introduce of the natural picture of Vietnam and Korea,...

The eco-economic model is one of the economic development orientations associated with environmental protection, ensuring sustainable development for the territories. According to the eco-economic approach, the article has assessed the current status of developing eco-economic models in the Kon river basin, Binh Dinh province by the method of participatory rural appraisal and cost-benefit analysis based on three values: present value (PV), net present value (NPV), benefit-cost ratio (BCR). The results show the households have applied many different eco-economic models in agricultural and forestry production (18 types of models). Most of the models in the basin have components: fields, gardens, and barns. The model of rice field - garden - barn (Ru-V-C) accounted for the highest percentage (33.07%). The model of rice field - garden - pond - barn - forest (Ru-V-A-C-R) has the highest average annual profit of 237 million VNDyear after discounting. Models with 3-4 components have created a link in the material-energy cycle in production, taking advantage of by-products, and protecting the environment. The evaluation results are the basis for proposing eco-economic models suitable to the potential and resources of the Kon river basin, Binh Dinh province.

The article begins with a brief overview of the military selection regime in Vietnam before the eighteenth century and then focuses on clarifying the military selection regime implemented under Gia Long and Minh Mang. The author mainly uses historical methods analysis, and historical statistics from ancient Vietnamese bibliographical sources to clarify the process of implementing the selection regime through the two dynasties of King Gia Long and Minh Mang. The purpose of the military selection regime of the Gia Long and Minh Mang periods was also to classify the population into different classes for taxation and at the same time use it as a basis for recruiting soldiers. Research results show that from the Gia Long period (1802 - 1820) until Minh Mang (1820 - 1841) the military selection regime has become more and more complete associated with the process of concentrating the power of the monarchical state. In addition, the difficulties in implementing the military selection regime in the northern mountainous region also showed that the central court could not completely dominate this area, even during the most complete central government period under Minh Mang.

Upon the 90s of 20th century, in the diversification as well as ‘complexity’ of social and cultural norms, the highness of Chinese literary reform slowed down. The vibrant artistic peaks, under the influence of Western philosophical trends, gradually cooled off. It was known that enlightened spirit that shined brightly in the beginning of the reform was unlikely to replicate in all corners of secular society – a society in which successful businessmen were the main driver. Meanwhile, not going public in bookstores, in theaters, or on television means that arts remained a display item. Therefore, art was never closer to the market like this period. Literature tended to depart from the central norms into the periphery. Chinese academics in general and literature in particular, at that time, were not lagging behind the synchronic advances in the West because it was inherited from an earlier period of ideological liberalization in which researchers as well as literary authors were trained on the basics. This essay studies the reception of the influence from Western philosophical trends on Chinese literature by the second half of the 20th century with the aim of partly explaining the above phenomenon.

This research aims at clarifying a variety of issues concerning the development of economic corridors in Nghe An province until 2030. The author proposes a plan for Nghe An province’s economic corridors’ development based on the existing status of the province's five economic corridors and the anticipated effects of the formation of expressways (East and West), high-speed railways, and the development of an industrial-urban site in the East. The orientation of key industries and sectors, such as transportation, manufacturing, services, agriculture, and urban, that are important for the growth of each corridor is also suggested. The author highlights the need of expanding legality in the creation of economic corridors in the province together with specialized policies, particularly for the economic centers along the corridor.

The article focuses on understanding and analyzing the diplomatic activities between Dai Co Viet under the Dinh, Tien Le dynasties, and the Song Dynasty, which are reflected in some ancient Vietnamese bibliographies and Song’s history of China. The article mainly uses the statistical method, and compares and contrasts the sources of ancient Vietnamese bibliographies and ancient Chinese bibliographies, with reference to some comments and assessments of previous works on the relationship between Dai Co Viet and the Song Dynasty. Considering two-way diplomatic events, placed in a specific historical context, is the basis for coming to an objective perception of the reciprocal position of each king of the Dinh and Former Le dynasties in the relationship between the two dynasties with the Song in order to establish peace and gain recognition from the Song Dynasty of the legal status of the head of the dynasty. The research results also clarify the flexibility, initiative, and appropriateness of the methods used by the Dinh and Tien Le dynasties to protect and strengthen their independence. To a certain extent, the research results contribute to clarifying the achievements of our country in the 10th century and the first decade of the 11th century from the perspective of relations with Northern feudalism.

Green space is an integral part of ecotourism, it is also an important indicator f sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to assess the change in green space quality using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in the period 2005 - 2021 in Moc Chau district, Son La. Four satellite images including 2 Landsat 5 images and 2 Landsat 8 images taken in 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2021 are used to determine the NDVI value. The green space map is then classified into four classes based on the corresponding value ranges, namely, areas with non-green, low green, moderate green, and dense green. The results show a rapid decrease in areas with dense green while non-green areas and low green areas tend to increase rapidly in the past 16 years (2005 - 2021). This result is considered an important basis in the management and planning of sustainable development in the study area.

This study aims to look into the influence of TikTok social network usage behavior on generation Z in three areas including learning, communication and personal development. A total of 1,015 students in grades 7, 8, 10 and 11 from middle and high schools in the North, Central and South regions took part in the current study. The main tool used was a questionnaire designed by the research team with 50 items with reliability Cronbach's Alpha = 0,83. Research results illustrated that Gen Z used TikTok for 3 main purposes such as entertainment, learning and emotional relief. The behavior of using TikTok had both positive and negative impacts on their perception, attitude and behavior in the fields of learning, communication and selfdevelopment. Nevertheless, TikTok had more positive effects than negative ones, in which selfdevelopment was the most positively influenced aspect. The outcomes highlighted the reality of TikTok usage behavior of Gen Z as well as the influence of this social network on children's mentality in the current context. Contributions, limitations and directions for future research are also discussed in this study.
