Japanese culture has flourishing, diversity and unique culture in Asia. Appearance of the aesthetic system in the early period and profound effects of aesthetic conception on artistic and cultural life are typical causes connecting the national cultural identities. In which, aware aesthetic has a great influence and enduring vitality in national culture, especially in literature. The article presents the theoretical framework concerning aesthetic philosophy ingeneral and aware aesthetic in particular. From this poit onward, study focuses on philosophical aesthetic of aesthetic such as the time of life, the beauty and loneliness throughout The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu. This paper explores concept the life and the beauty in Japanese thoughts in the Heian period.

Attractiveness in the physical beauty in order to clarify the humanity in love is one of great contribution of contemporary Vietnamese poets. According to existentialist ideology, human is born without deciding their own fate. They always feel anxious about the fragmentary loss of human life that makes them always feel lonely. But they also accept their loneliness and rise up to live and affirm their own individuality. And sexuality is one of the key themes of existentialism people to find the meaning of life and overcome the kama of loneliness. The contemporary Vietnamese poetry since 1986 has been greatly influenced the existentialism from the West and has been shared a new look at the theme of "sexuality". The article mentions the remarkable contributions of contemporary Vietnamese poets to the renewal of poetry, give readers a new conception and awareness of the theme of "sexuality" which is prohibited and avoided mention to both in real life and in literature.

Ca dao about couple's love are a part of Vietnamese folklore. In this article, we study Ca dao about couple's love from the perspective of pragmatics, specifically showing communication strategies used by folk authors. Through the survey, we found that, in order to establish and maintain a harmonious relationship in communication, folk authors have had strategies to choose appropriate words and ways to establish appropriate linguistic actions. In addition, they implement the strategy of creating implication by using ambiguous, roundabout speech and using indirect-speech actions. Reasonable communication strategies have contributed to helping folk authors achieve optimal communication purposes.

During Vietnam War (1954-1975), the US imperialists mobilized enormous economic and military potentials, including both conventional weapons and newly invented weapons which were improved in the most modern manner. In Quang Tri Province, due to its strategically important position, the US imperialists and the Government of the Republic of Vietnam arranged a large military forces, used the most modern weapons, a large number of bombs and mines, together with many fierce attacks that made Quang Tri to become a place suffering from the most serious consequences of bombs and mines during the war. The article focuses on clarifying the actual use of bombs and mines in Quang Tri Province by US during the war from 1965 to 1973; accordingly giving comments on economic, material, human and environmental consequences that Quang Tri has suffered.

We studied Bui Huy Phon works as a member of the Han Thuyen group. It can be seen that Bui Huy Phon is the only writer in the group wrote detective stories. When approaching Courageous Woman, The Will of the Tran Thach Family, Inheritance Enemy, etc…we will learn the characteristics of the detective genre expressed in both content and art, and point out the limitations of Bui Huy Phon when he first tried this new genre. With the content being a realistic urban picture depicting the characters' extremes and calculations, the writer has built a somewhat ghostly cover in confusing cases, in order to cover up the layers of colorful and artificial forms of people trying to "squeeze" towards Western civilization. It is hoped that these approaches will be an opportunity to open up a valuable literary underground in the Han Thuyen group in particular and in Vietnamese detective literature in general.

In the current era of globalization, the study of Vietnamese literature, especially the studies of Vietnamese modern poetry and specifically Vietnamese women' poetry, are not outside the trends and theories in Western literary and social theory. These studies aim to establish important theoretical foundations for literary criticism, and at the same time, suggest new thinking and approaches to literature from both reception and composition perspectives. Theories including the aspect of discourse's subject, and Virginia Woolf's feminist conception, which focus on woman as a matter of subject in composition are two of the many important theories in the recognition and criticism related to the topic of feminism, and the woman - as a subject, in Vietnamese literature. The research is carried out on the basis of postmodern knowledge framework.

The article presents changes in prosody of hero image creation in Vietnamese historical novels after the Doi moi period. In which, the change of the artistic conception of human and artistic point of view is the most important condition to help writers create multi-faceted hero characters. There, the personality of the hero is set by the novelists in specific contexts to explain from many aspects with a dialectical view instead of the “defaults” of history itself. Characters are reflected on many different aspects of real life. They appear lively as contemporary people in all its inherent complexity.

Children picture books which incorporate a system of words and images devotes the most space to pictures; it, therefore, makes sense to consider images as important as words. To analyse and interpret the interface between text and image, this article proposes to use the language of evaluation of Martin and White (2013) which includes three meta functions (ideational metafunction, interpersonal metafunction and textual metafunction) to to analyse words further developed by Kress and van Leeuwen in Reading Images (2006) with the grammar of visual design framework to analyse pictures portrayed in picture books for children.

The article focuses on analyzing and clarifying such potentials of the Central region to develop tourism as abundant natural resources - tourism products with unique identity and world-class quality brand; favorable geographical location and connection opportunities for tourism development. Besides, it also points out the shortcomings in tourism development in the region. For instance, the linkage in tourism development among the components, the territorial parts are not really tight, the tourism activities of the region have not fully exploited its potential and vantages yet and have not become the main factor in creating the linkage process of national and regional development. On the basis, solutions to connecting tourism development at local, national and regional levels are proposed in order to exploit the potentials efficiently, and promote effective and sustainable development in the coming time.

Nature in literature has been of interest to researchers for a long time, but since the introduction of Ecological Criticism in Vietnam, that relationship has been approached from the other perspective. This study applies the theory of ecological criticism to study nature in Bach Van Quoc phon collection - excellent collection of Nom poetry by Nguyen Binh Khiem. In the perspective of ecocrticism, we point out the concept of the natural world (nature is a poetic dwelling place, being friends, able to listen and understand people); and behavior with nature (appreciation for the beauty of nature, appreciation and listening to nature's voice).
