Child labor is a social problem appearing in every continent and every country. Actual databases are showing that the world in general and many regions and countries, in particular, are still facing an alarming rate of child labor, especially after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic all around the world. The reality of child labor causes serious consequences affecting the development of children, families, and society in all different countries around the world. Especially for children, child labor causes physical, mental, and moral dangers; children are deprived of the opportunity to go to school; children have to combine school and work with heavy and dangerous jobs for a long time. In such a situation, identifying child labor indicators is very important in preventing and reducing child labor, especially child labor prevention activities through school from the perspective of social work. The content of this article will focus on the criteria to identify child labor according to specific provisions of international and Vietnamese laws and social work activities in preventing child labor through school thereby helping children to continue in school, reducing the risk of exclusion from school, and entering the labor market early.

There exists a segregation between “nostalgic literature” and “local literature” in Taiwanese literature, as well as a clear distinction in China and Taiwan in defining “local literature”. “Local literature” in literature is considered as a part of mandarin literature, which is the main genre of literary works that “reflect the indigenous life of the country". Meanwhile, “nostalgic literature” literature is in conflict with “local literature” where it resonates with the voice of the migrants from “the mainland home”. The distinction, in many cases, is integrated with political implications, thereby becoming obsolete upon being placed in a historical perspective. This essay will focus on analyzing and interpreting this segregation.

The legend of the great war in the Song Son region between Princess Lieu Hanh and the three Saints of Noi Dao Trang is an open ending because it starts a new beginning: the beginning of the role of Lieu Hanh's character after becoming a Saint; beginning of Vietnamese beliefs in the Mother Goddesses of Three Realms in our country when Princess Lieu Hanh took refuge in the Buddha. In terms of literature and culture, the story of the Song Son great war also explains the conflict and harmonizing religion in mother goddess belief.

The article focuses on two main points: Land and Central people in Nguyen Minh Chau's compositions. This Central regional land is harsh and hard because of rocks, weather, and especially it is “the navel of war”. With his love and respect for the land, Nguyen Minh Chau has found its poetic, lyrical nature as well as its majestic and magnificent beauty. Also, on this land, the “face” of the Central people shines with the beauty of perseverance, patience, and extraordinary energy. People in the Central region have a loyal personality: loyal to the land and loyal to people, even to the souls of the sacrificed). Even though, people in this land are full of creation, intelligence, and a strong desire to live despite hardships and difficulties. Nguyen Minh Chau is always in pain, longing to find “the pearl hidden in the depths of the human soul” through his written works about the Central people. As a result, he found such precious pearls and brightened them.

The aim of this study is to assess urban land use change in Dan Phuong district, Hanoi city. Remote sensing data taken in 2008, 2016, and 2022 are used to analyze the land use situation. The GIS tool helps to overlay data layers to determine the trend of fluctuations and locate in space the change of land use types in the study area. Research results showed a significant change in the structure of land use in Dan Phuong district. Residential land and construction land tend to increase significantly while agricultural land tends to decrease dramatically. Research results are a reliable reference source for managers, helping to manage urban land resources effectively and sustainably.

In recent years, our country has been implementing the program “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP). Cao Phong orange is one of the specific products of Cao Phong district in Hoa Binh province. To develop this product as OCOP, from a geographical viewpoint, the article focuses on studying the main resources as well as the current situation of orange tree development in Cao Phong district and then proposes some solutions to contribute to maintaining the Cao Phong orange brand in the market.

School violence has been an urgent issue in schools today. A questionnaire survey done by 700 students and many in-depth interviews with students, and school social workers who support students at school such as the teachers, school administrators, psychological counselors, etc. are conducted at 3 secondary schools in Hanoi. Since then, the article has analyzed the current situation of school social work activities in preventing school violence among students in Hanoi. The results show that the schools have implemented social work activities toward preventing and intervening with students on school violence, however, the implementation effectiveness of these activities is not high, which leads to the remaining uncontrolled school violence. As a result, the article proposes some solutions to promote professional school social work activities to prevent school violence for students in current secondary schools in Hanoi.

The issue of “body” and “sensuality” in Ho Xuan Huong's poetry has been interested by some researchers. However, there are currently no works that place her work in the system of East Asian sensual literature. This article compares Ho Xuan Huong's poetry with the sensuality poetry of some East Asian male and female poets such as Tiet Dao, Vuong Ngan Hoang, and Hwang Jin Yi to explore these poetic phenomena as a rebellion against the neglect of the “body” in medieval Confucian and Buddhist society, thereby conversing and challenging the classic poetics of medieval East Asian poetry and the repressive Confucian and Buddist culture which places the burden of virtue, social responsibility and success on the women in particular and the individual in general.

This paper is conducted to scrutinize the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of Vietnamese university students who are living and studying in the US. Specifically, the objective of this research is to survey the severity and the different grounds of mental distress among this population group throughout the awful pandemic. The result collected from the online questionnaire survey revealed that among 103 participants, 79.61% (n=76) experienced a mild-to-severe level of mental distress. This mental health issue is attributed to the increasing stressors related to studying, health, and general living triggered by the complicated COVID-19 outbreak situation.
