Indonesia has implemented number of regulations in response to COVID-19, one of which is the temporary suspension of crowd-attracting activities, including in the education sector. It also effected to the learning process transition from offline to online learning system. The purpose of this research was to ascertain Applied Foreign Language students' perceptions of online learning. This study collects data through descriptive quantitative methods as main data, study literature as secondary data, and survey as data collecting method. The results indicated that some students of Applied Foreign Languages believed that online learning was still ineffective in its application, owing to a number of impediments, including unstable networks, a lack of comprehension of the provided material, a lack of space and time, and an unsupportive learning environment. Therefore, this research is supposed to serve as a tool for related parties in evaluating and seeking solutions over the issues that occured

The aim of this research is to find out the significant effect of the use of learning videos on the learning outcomes of students in soccer at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kader Bangsa Palembang. This type of research is experimental with the research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were students of class XI Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kader Bangsa Palembang, totaling 22 people who were all female students. From the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the hypothesis Ha can be accepted or tcount > ttable (30.53 > 1.721). Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of learning videos on the learning outcomes of students in football material at Kader Bangsa Palembang

This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the success of educational management applied to mentally retarded children cannot be separated from the existence of a good management process, namely from the planning process, organizing process, implementation process, and control process. The supporting factors for implementing such management include local government support, an adequate organizational structure, and the ability of teachers and parental support. While the inhibiting factors from the application of such management are the condition of mentally retarded students who have different characteristics, the location of the school is far from public roads, and the entry of students with different disabilities from other mentally retarded students

This study aims to explain the use of online applications in distance learning and its impact on the achievement of multimedia competencies at SMKN 1 Jambi City. This study uses a qualitative method with phenomenological research. For data collection conducted, interviews and documentation. To analyze the data consists of three activity lines simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of observing can be concluded in class X-1 and X-2 are able to adapt using online applications in online learning. Meanwhile, grades XII-1, XII-2, and XII-3 have gotten used to online applications provided by schools in online learning. Furthermore, the results of interviews from 10 informants and 15 questions became the basis for in-depth data sources on the phenomena that occurred based on experts that distance learning was learning independently by utilizing online applications as a medium in honing skills and communication tools online learning.

This study aims to: Produce reading mateirals which is validm, practical and effective, the method used is the R&D development method with the tessmer development model which consists of 2 stages, namely: the preliminary stage and the prototyping stage using a formative evaluation flow. Therefore, it can be concluded: (1) The design of puzzle learning media for the initial reading material for grade 1 students at SDN 77 Prabumulih Sumsel can be used to test its validity seen from the assessment at the self-evaluation stage, (2) Produce puzzle learning media on the beginning reading material that valid in score of 92, material expert validation obtained an average score of 98, and linguist validation obtained an average score of 95, (3) Produces puzzle learning media is effective with an average pre-test score of 54 while the average post-test score of 89

ANALISIS SOAL HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL (HOTS) BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM UJIAN SEKOLAH SMP NEGERI 4 DUMAI

This research is a teaching field research on the analysis of the Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) type of exam questions for Nineth Grade Students of SMP Negeri 4 Dumai. The problem examined in this study is how many levels of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions are contained in the school exam questions. This type of research is quantitative. The source of the data in this study came from the document of the school exam questions for Indonesian subjects for nineth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Dumai for the 2019/2020 academic year, which consisted of 40 multiple choice questions. The results of this study indicate that 32.5% are classified as HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions and 67.5% are classified as MOTS (Middle Order Thinking Skills)
本研究是对SMP Negeri 4 Dumai九年级学生高阶思维技能(HOTS)类型试题分析的教学实地研究。本研究考察的问题是学校考题中包含多少个HOTS(高阶思维技能)问题。这种类型的研究是定量的。本研究的数据来源来自SMP Negeri 4 Dumai 2019/2020学年九年级学生印尼语科目的学校考试题目文件,共40道选择题。本研究结果表明,32.5%的问题被归类为HOTS(高阶思维技能),67.5%的问题被归类为MOTS(中阶思维技能)。

The purpose of this study is to find out how to use the Google Meet application in the implementation of classical guidance services in students of class XII SMAN 12 Jambi City. This research method is a qualitative research method that uses purposive sampling techniques in data collection using unstructured interviews and triangulation, after which it is analyzed using qualitative descriptive to get an idea of the facts. The results of the study conducted by researchers through interviews with 5 informants about the use of google meet application as a medium of implementation of classical guidance services for students of class XII SMAN 12 Jambi City showed that the google meet application is the right choice to be used as a medium of implementation of classical guidance services because it meets the five principles of learning media, namely effectiveness, relevance, efficiency, usable and contextual.

The purpose of this study to describe implementation of prakerin, achievement of students on the competence of Tata Boga in PJJ SMKN 4 Jambi City. Research method used is qualitative through phenomenological research with purposive sampling techniques, instruments used, namely observation, interview and data analysis refer to Miles and Huberman's theory. The results of observation obtained implementation of prakerin during covid-19 pandemic was not carried out for a full 6 months, but implementation of prakerin was carried out for 2 (two) months in DU/DI. The results of interview were obtained after carrying out prakerin, students gained new experience in the field of food and beverage processing, and knew the stages of food and beverage processing both about cookie dough, texture of cake dough and so on, new knowledge and experience in the industrial world and in the business world. Students use online applications and mobile media tools during PJJ to achieve competency skills tata boga.

PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN MELALUI METODE HYPERSCAN PADA SISWA SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 2 PALEMBANG 通过对高中生MUHAMMADIYAH 2 PALEMBANG的高扫描方法提高阅读理解能力

The hyper-scan method is one way that instructors employ to help students in class XI improve their reading comprehension. Indeed, many students struggle with reading comprehension. This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) research comprising two cycles of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection.  was used to analyze the test data. The result shows the average pre-cycle score was 63.83, the first cycle score was 73.77, and the second cycle score was 84.33. According to the percentage of students who qualify, there has traditionally been an increase. The percentage of completion in pre-cycle tests ranged from 10% to 46.6 percent in the first cycle and up to 90% in the second cycle. As a result, it can be concluded that the hyper-scan method can assist in reading comprehension skills development

POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI MASA PANDEMI 父母的教养有助于提高学生在大流行时期的学习动力

This study aims to explain the role of parenting in improving the learning motivation of grade VI students of SD 1 Rejosari during the pandemic.The research method used is mixed methods research. Data collection techniques include observation,interview and questionnaires,documentation, and the results of fields notes. The data analysis techniques used were interview and questionnaries. The results showed that: (1) parents of subject 1 applied permissive parenting and children’s learning motivation was in the low category, parents of subject 2 applied democratic parenting and children’s learning motivation was in high category, while parents of subject 3 applied permissive parenting and children’s learning motivations falls into the low category. (2) The supporting factors for parenting parents in increasing student motivation during the pandemic are in the form of parental attention in various ways for each child, while the inhibiting factors are parents, activities such as work and children’s conditions such as playing with peers, playing handphone, and, watching tv.
本研究旨在解释大流行期间父母在提高小学六年级1年级学生学习动机中的作用。研究方法采用混合方法研究。数据收集技术包括观察、访谈和问卷调查、文献记录和实地记录结果。使用的数据分析技术是访谈和问卷调查。结果表明:(1)被试家长采用宽容型教养方式,儿童的学习动机为低类别;被试家长采用民主型教养方式,儿童的学习动机为高类别;被试家长采用宽容型教养方式,儿童的学习动机为低类别。(2)疫情期间家长对学生学习动机的支持因素是家长对每个孩子的各种关注,抑制因素是家长、活动(如工作)和孩子的环境(如与同伴玩耍、玩手机、看电视)。
