Decentralization strategies have turned into a pretty much uniform design among states. The vote based left and right in entrepreneur a majority rules government advocate institutional upgrading concerning positive state. Decentralization works with the distinguishing proof of individuals' inclinations and wants by permitting them to take part straightforwardly in the plan and execution of plans. In India, the Panchayati Raj framework is broadly viewed as the main Decentralization device for making a majority rules system completely equitable and delicate. Just on two events, the Association and the Regions did the Indian states go about as a league. The 73rd amendment supports India's Decentralization cycle and makes it simpler for states to assign position to neighborhood legislatures. It has been contended that, while the starting points of decentralized administration can be followed back to antiquated India, the ongoing type of Decentralization created and laid out by a few Western researchers looks similar. In spite of the fact that Decentralization possibly gives critical open doors to viable country development, its execution is many times tormented by various issues. This exploration means to perceive political Decentralization and country administration issues in India.

This research paper is presenting a famous educational philosopher’s views and thoughts regarding the teacher and education. Initially, the study described the struggle of an ideologist and his contribution toward national development. Thereafter, the study marked the importance of spiritual education, physical and mental education as well as recommended curriculum modification, including the practical aspects before assigning to a child, having control over body, and mind through yoga and meditation, etc. Further, the study reviewed the literary works of past researchers who put immense innovations in the school curriculum in alignment with Sri Aurobindo’s thoughts. As per his philosophy, a learner should have the choice of subjects, and languages and be provided proper guidance, counseling, and a free environment. Under the methodologies part, the study considered his thoughts, and ideas in the form of divine life, school, discipline, curriculum, and physical, spiritual, and mental education. Lastly, the study agreed on education which helps in every aspect of life to achieve any goals, tasks, consciousness, control, and success of an individual.

This paper attempts to study the success story of a tiny Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan which has been able to wedge worldwide attention and appreciations for having the lowest COVID-19 case-counts and fatalities. Bhutan has so far accomplished to keep the ‘invisible enemy’ at bay despite of being a low middle income, developing and vulnerable landlocked country having porous border with India and nascent health care system. So, this paper will look into Bhutan’s pandemic trajectory, preventive measures, preparedness and responses until now. It will explore Bhutan’s COVID-19 management strategies since the onset of the outbreak from two levels: 1) instantaneous policy responses and extraordinary leadership roles of its Constitutional and political heads and; 2) Bhutanese commitment in offering multifarious community support in battling with the pandemic. It will also evaluate the determinants of Bhutan’s COVID-19 resilience despite of facing many challenges. The methodology adopted in this paper is content analysis of facts, data and materials available from both primary and secondary sources.

The issue of media literacy has already been globally addressed especially the relationship the media has with children. However, because of COVID-19 pandemic, the media has become more involved in the lives of children where they have depended on it for school recreation and communication. With the over reliance on media by the school going children especially in these times where there is a new mode of communication with the improved technology, the researcher wanted to get a new perspective on how young people are adapting to media and how media literacy can make the adapting even easier. This research study is a part of an ongoing doctoral work on “Need Analysis for a Media Literacy Module in School Education Programs: Specific Study of State Board of Gujarat.” The present research is exploratory in nature and is aimed at finding out how media literacy will help school going children to cope up with the bombarding of media industry in their lives. This is primary research to discover the new information and reach a new understanding on how the school going children will adjust with the help of media literacy to the ever-changing media climate of the present. The research study uses in-depth structured interview as a tool to attain the required data of 68 participants which includes school students, teachers and parents of Ahmedabad schools. The research concludes that there is an overwhelming of media platforms especially social media that has bombarded the school going children’s lives and for safe navigation of the media world the children need the equipping to be done on a thorough level which calls for rigorous media literacy continuously because of the ever-evolving nature of the media world. If introduced as a subject at the school level, Media literacy can help children have the ability to access in terms of technical know how, analyse content to create a better understanding, also evaluate the media content as they retain what is for their benefit and discard what is not and also have the ability to be content creators even at a better and larger scale.

Nectar is a liquid formed by specialized glands called nectaries that attract pollinators inside the flowers. In reproductive biology, nectar plays a significant role in promoting visitor attractions and pollinators, aiding in the biotic pollination of the earth, and encouraging forest conservation and human farming. Nectar is an ecologically important honey source of sugar. In this analysis the nectar of Rhynchostylis retusa (L.) B. was described. It is an economically significant orchid in many parts of the world. The instrument used Q-Exactive Plus biopharma-high resolution Orbitrap Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry for the most accurate and precise detection of compounds. The orchid flowers are frequently fed for the sweet nectar by various insects, e.g. ants, beetles, bees, and butterflies, but two species of genus Xylocopa, viz., X. violacea L. and X. aestuans L. were considered as the important biotic pollinators. We find 13 compounds which are Rhynchostylis retusa nectar metabolites. Of these, 6 compounds are either unknown or not reported elsewhere from any plant metabolites.

Purpose –The primary aim of this research is to study the acquisition techniques of the Gujarat University Library. 1) What is the procedure for acquisition in the library? 2) What is the number of books from various disciplines acquired by Gujarat University Library in five years? 3) What is the no of books in various languages acquired by Gujarat University Library? 4) What methods are used to acquire resources in the Gujarat University library? Design/methodology/approach – This is a secondary database study. Data were collected using the register and annual report of Gujarat University Library. Five years of data were used to collect and analyze information. The data from the year 2016 to 2020 was collected and analyzed. Findings – The comparative study of Books and magazines purchased in various Subjects, Languages and years—maximum no of 3429(95.15%) books were purchased in 2017. The maximum number of 185 (50.96%) journals and magazines were purchased in 2020-21. Gujarati language maximum 1521(66.65%) no books purchased in 2020-21. Gujarat University Library purchased books on various subjects in Management subject highest 81 (19.01%) books purchased in 2017-18. Originality/value – The study provides insight into the library's collection development activities and gives information about the various subject purchased by the library in various years. This research will be helpful for scholars in guiding them to understand the acquisition process of academic material by a library. It will benefit immerging libraries to develop a systematic and structured acquisition process.

This paper navigates the intricate evolution, profound impact, challenges, and future trajectories of educational media within India's dynamic educational landscape. Framed under the title "Unveiling Knowledge Horizons: Tracing the Tapestry of Educational Media in India," this study begins by delving into the definition and scope of educational media, highlighting its intrinsic significance in the unique Indian context. Throughout the research, the historical evolution of educational media unfolds, encompassing ancient educational practices and their transformation during the British colonial era. The exploration continues to early forms of educational media, including traditional tools and the emergence of audio-visual aids. Subsequently, the paper delves into the radio and television era, shedding light on the pivotal role of these mediums in education outreach. The digital transformation section chronicles the advent of computers, CD-ROMs, and the internet's transformative role in disseminating educational content. The analysis of modern educational media initiatives, such as SWAYAM and the ascendancy of EdTech giants like Byju's and Unacademy, underscores the paradigm shift in learning approaches. Challenges and opportunities presented by digital divides, quality assurance, and teacher training are considered, while innovative approaches like virtual and augmented reality and gamification are explored for their potential to enhance engagement.
