Access to education is crucial for students with disability as it empowers them, by promoting social inclusion, equal opportunities, personal development, raises awareness and empathy, upholds their fundamental human rights and breaks stereotypes. However, similar to most other societies, students with disability in Kashmir encounter numerous barriers when attempting to access higher education. In this context the primary objective of this study was to gain insights into the educational experiences of disabled students pursuing higher education in Kashmir. The study was based on 26 students with disability who were enrolled at Central University of Kashmir. The data was collected through qualitative methodology by using interviews. The results indicated that disabled individuals face notable challenges when it comes to accessing education. The barriers faced by students with disability encompass various challenges, such as experiencing harassment, being excluded from the university community, lacking sufficient institutional support, inadequate accommodations, limited financial assistance, substandard seminars, and insufficient infrastructure and facilities. These obstacles impede disabled students from achieving equal access to education when compared to their non-disabled peers.

This research is conducted to evaluate the impact of self-esteem, gender, and type of institution (public and Private) on the organizational commitment of secondary school teachers. Teachers of secondary school were taken as sample for the study. 200 teachers (Male=119, & Female=81., and Government=105, Private=95) were choosen for the sample of the study. However, for gathering of data a multistage random sampling technique was used. The self-Esteem Scale (SES) developed by Dhar & Dhar and the Teacher’s Organizational Commitment Scale Developed by Jamal & Raheem were administered on the 200 teachers for taking their responses.To conduct the analysis, the following techniques were used: Mean, S.D., Product Moment Correlation, Regression, t-test, and Factorial ANOVA. According to the study, there is a substantial positive association between organisational commitment and self-esteem (r=0.48). Moreover, self-esteem reported a significant (F=2.711) differential effect on organizational commitment. Gender (F=0.395) and type of institution (F=0.298) showed insignificant differential effects on self-esteem. While Gender (F=3.330) and type of institution (F=1.178) were also showed an insignificant differential effect on the organizational commitment of secondary school teachers.

India has to be commended for its unique and different tribal groups living in various parts of the nation. They indirectly play a vital role in sustainable development. Today, we adapt sustainable measures to tackle environmental problems, but the tribal community is one of the communities that have adapted these things since the commencement of human history. In this article, I want to explain the multidimensional roles played by tribal peoples, especially tribal women. First of all, I want to give a concise elaboration about tribal presence in India, demonstrating my own grandmother’s experience in a story format to make it comprehensible for all. After this, explain the role of tribal women from different point of views. Such as the role of tribal women in ecological conservation, economic activities, Governance and Policy Making, cultural preservation, Indian medicinal preservation techniques, etc. along with suitable examples of key role models. This article wants to highlight the major challenges faced by tribal women at the individual and community levels. And finally according to the overall study, I am willing to suggest short-term and long-term strategies to overcome the problem of tribal women and promote and contribute to ensuring their dignity, prosperity and progress as well. To explain and analyze the above sub-themes, I am collecting and studying secondary data; including Government Reports, Books, Journals, Newspapers and the thesis of research scholars. Gandhidham is the main trading centre of Kachchh and is one of the important contributor of the economic development of Kachchh. The hospitality sector has been witnessing tremendous changes of late in terms of gender diversity with the increased participatory role of women at all levels of the workforce. The global food and beverage, and lodging industries have been proactively getting women on board down the years, recognising their important role in enhancing visitor satisfaction translating into repeat visits. This trend is however more widespread and popular in developed countries. India’s unique cultural values, social traditions, conventional customs, gender stereotyping, conservative attitudes and religious beliefs have all been challenging age-old obstacles that have largely hindered the greater employment and integration of women in the hospitality sector’s labour market. It is only from the 1960s that the women workforce in the Indian precincts saw limited presence and then slowly grew in numbers. This analytical research paper actively seeks to explore and highlight the trajectory of women employees in the hotel industry. Accurate and objective data for this investigative analysis is obtained from several leading five-star hotels in Chennai. Insights into the hospitality sector are obtained through interaction with a number of women holding managerial positions. The gathered data is decoded, and variables that help it are extracted. This research study on the work trends, changing industry dynamics and administrative challenges encountered by women in the hospitality sector can help establish gender parity by promoting a greater number of women to join the ranks and raise the profile of women in the hotel industry.

The world of academics is divided into different groups pertaining to their reflection on the questions of secularism. Some of them considered that secularism is a western concept. It is a product of European history that has been implanted in Indian societies so the secularization of politics has taken place in India where the people are strongly committed to religion. Some other scholars believe secularism is an Indian experience for that matter Hinduism itself a great secular religion. Diversity of faith, diversity of ideas, and spirit of co-existence, accommodation, and tolerance are the essential ingredients of Hinduism. This paper reports an ethnobotanical study that focused on the traditional medicinal plants used by local communities to treat various human diseases. The study focused on documentation of medicinal plants used to treat various human diseases in the study area. Ethnobotanical data were collected using surveys, interviews, field walks, and observations with local peoples. A total of 67 medicinal plants, were collected and identified. Crushing was a widely used mode of preparation of traditional remedies where oral administration was the dominant route. Local people in the study area possess a rich traditional knowledge on medicinal plants used to treat various human ailments. However, agricultural expansion and lack of interest by the young generation became a major threat to the medicinal plant diversity and the retention of the knowledge. It is, therefore, necessary to preserve this indigenous knowledge on traditional medicines by proper documentation, identification of plant species used, and the mode of preparation. To save medicinal plants from becoming rare in the area, cultivation of the medicinal plants by local communities is suggested.

The ancient pandemics like situations partake brought out trendy open the shortcomings of administration to guard the health and safety of their employees especially in the healthcare sectors. Because of this many of the healthcare organizations nowadays have started giving a lot of attention to work safety of their employees. The health and safety management norms have been set up for the same to avoid as such major disasters. In the healthcare industry, a culture of safety and the performance of safety protocol is followed keeping in mind the employee or workers safety. But even then due to the “people” element, unsafe behaviours leading to accidents. Therefore this research intends to study the work safety of healthcare employees in healthcare sector. An empirical study was undertaken where the employees of a multispecialty hospital were asked to respond to questionnaire to collect their perception towards the employees work safety and all the procedures that are being performed regarding work safety of any employee in the organisation. The results revealed that though organisations are doing a lot for employee safety but still some major concerns remain. This research would be very helpful in promoting the work safety culture.
