The impact of cyber resilience and robustness on supply chain performance: Evidence from the UAE chemical industry 网络弹性和稳健性对供应链绩效的影响:来自阿联酋化学工业的证据

This paper examines the impact of cyber resilience and supply chain (SC) robustness on supply chain performance in the UAE chemical industry. No prevailing empirical evidence makes this research unique and beneficial to the literature and future research related to cyber resilience in the chemical industry. Moreover, this research is a contemporary contribution to the research of the UAE chemical industry. The study applies a quantitative approach with causal, exploratory and analytical design. The magnitude of the industry is emphasized by choosing cluster sampling techniques. Data is collected from chemical manufacturing companies located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. A valid sample of 303 participants is used for data analysis. A positive direct impact with a significant level of cyber resilience and SC robustness on supply chain performance is found. Current hypothetical model assessment in one industry limits the research findings. It is recommended that other industries be investigated through longitudinal research. A system of diverse detection and defense mechanisms is required. For the chemical industry, an effective cyber security plan would strengthen resilience against cyberattacks and improve SC performance.

Antecedents of green supply chain collaborative innovation in tourism SMEs: Moderating the effects of socio-demographic factors 旅游中小企业绿色供应链协同创新的前因:社会人口因素的调节作用

The importance of environmentally friendly issues related to manufacturing industry activities in Makassar City is currently a special concern. Green supply chain management integrates supply chain management with environmental management, so it is important to reduce environmental impacts. This study aims to determine the antecedents of green supply chain collaborative innovation on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Tourism Sector. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires. The unit of research analysis is Small and Medium Enterprises in the Tourism Sector in West Java. Respondents who were used as samples were 311 respondents. The analytical method used in testing the hypothesis is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show: green supply chain management has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Tourism Sector in West Java, green supply chain management mediates the effect of green innovation and transformational leadership on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Tourism Sector.

Potential effects of smart innovative solutions for supply chain performance 智能创新解决方案对供应链绩效的潜在影响

The study aimed at exploring the impact of three smart innovative solutions, i.e., Internet-of-Things, Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing on supply chain performance. Collecting data by questionnaires administered to a sample consists of supply chain managers of industrial firms. The results pointed out that these three smart solutions significantly and positively lift firms’ supply chain performance. That is, the hypotheses that Internet-of-Things, Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing have significant impacts on supply chain performance were supported. Therefore, the study concluded that for industrial firms to improve supply chain performance, such smart solutions should be assessed and applied. The study contributes to both academics and practitioners through providing empirical results on concurrent impacts of three advanced technologies in supply chain management context.

The role of intellectual capital on green supply chain management: Evidence from the Jordanian renewal energy companies 智力资本在绿色供应链管理中的作用:来自约旦可再生能源公司的证据

The study aimed to demonstrate the impact of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) with its dimensions (Green IT, Green Manufacturing and Packaging, Green Storing, Green Purchasing, Green Marketing) on the quality of services in renewable energy companies in Jordan. In addition, the study also aimed to measure the impact of intellectual capital on the impact of GSCM on the quality of services in renewable energy companies in Jordan. By adopting the survey/sampling method, data was collected from the study population of (482) companies, and the study sample consisted of (260) managers of renewable energy companies in Jordan using a questionnaire. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: the existence of an impact of green supply chain management on the quality of services in renewable energy companies, that intellectual capital has modified and enhanced the effect, and that renewable energy companies in Jordan seek to use environmentally friendly inputs in their production at a very high rate, several recommendations emerged from these results, most notably: that companies constantly review the production processes followed by suppliers to ensure their compliance with environmental specifications.

The impact of service quality, ticket price policy and passenger trust on airport train passenger loyalty 服务质量、票价政策和旅客信任对机场列车旅客忠诚度的影响

This research aims to know and analyze the direct and indirect impacts of service quality and ticket price policy on trust and also its impact on the passenger loyalty of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Train, Cengkareng, Indonesia. The main problems are that the service quality provided by Soekarno-Hatta Airport Train is not maximal and that the ticket price of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Train is relatively expensive because the passengers still have to use another transportation mode to go to the station. This research uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modelling, assisted by the Lisrel program with a sample of as many as 150 passengers. The results of this research prove that service quality and ticket price policy have both direct and indirect impacts on passenger loyalty through the mediation of passenger trust. The key finding is that the policymakers can take advantage of the findings of this research, especially the crucial aspects in the questionnaires on service quality and ticket price policy which are considered not optimal by the passengers of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Train. So, passenger loyalty can be enhanced through the improvement of service quality and ticket price policy supported by passenger trust.

A strategy to improve green purchase behavior and customer relationship management during the covid-19 new normal conditions 新常态下改善绿色采购行为和客户关系管理的策略

The study aimed to perform a further analysis of the society’s awareness towards the natural environment, especially the awareness of having a healthy life, which leads them to have an awareness to use a natural-based product (environmentally friendly product). Furthermore, this awareness acts as a guidance for them to become consumers who care about their environment and also the material logistics management of each company to build a good customer relationship management with their customer. Along with this phenomenon, however, several reasons regarding the increase of environmentally friendly product consumption are unknown. This study focused on antecedents generating green purchase behavior, namely, social influence, green attitude, green value, and green trust. The approach applied in the study was a purposive sampling method with the 450 respondents in all over Bali. The finding showed that the social influence did not significantly impact the green purchase behavior. On the other hand, green attitude, green value, and green trust brought a positive and significant impact toward green purchase behavior. Social influence, green attitude, and green value influenced positively and significantly toward green trust. Green trust played a role as the relationship mediator of social influence, green attitude, and green value on green purchase behavior. The study was limited as it belonged to cross-sectional and longitudinal study, and it needed a lengthy period to validate the finding. It only accommodated the consumer’s green purchase behavior in Bali. Hence, it cannot be generalized; however, it can be developed in another area. Moreover, the practical implication for the producers of the environmentally friendly product is that they can be more attentive to certain variables that generate the green purchase behavior. The authenticity of the study is that the social influence does not influence the green purchase behavior toward the society in Bali. Furthermore, this study supports the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) particularly in marketing the green product. The study is a more completed model development of the green purchase behavior. Furthermore, the variable in this study is worth considering in developing the environmentally friendly product.

The authenticity of the study is that the social influence does not influence the green purchase behavior toward the society in Bali. Furthermore, this study supports the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) particularly in marketing the green product. The study is a more completed model development of the green purchase behavior. Exploring the effect of corporate environmental management responsibility on firm performance 探讨企业环境管理责任对企业绩效的影响

Business executives and scholars are increasingly interested in learning how corporate environmental responsibility (CER) and firm success are related. However, prior research in this field requires consistent and contradictory findings. This study fills this gap by suggesting and verifying a moderated mediation theory that better explains the association between CER and company performance by considering organizational slack and strategy similarity. From 2015 to 2017, 260 listed Chinese companies provided the data for this study, yielding 780 firm-year observations. According to the multivariate analysis findings, the association between CER and company effectiveness is mediated by strategic similarity. The relation between CER and strategic identity and the direct effect of CER on organizational value via strategic similarity are both moderated by organizational slack. These findings imply that CER efforts and pursuing strategic similarities are crucial for coping with stakeholder pressure and being competitive in the market. They offer useful insights for corporate managers looking to make educated decisions regarding CER.

This paper aims to investigate the impact of strategic intelligence on strategic flexibility, in addition, to identify the effective decision-making on Logistics Performance. Nevertheless, partial least squares (Smart -PLS- 4.0.8.7) are used to examine the hypotheses, the results indicate that strategic intelligence (organized thinking, strategic vision, foresight, partnership, and motivation) significantly affect Strategic flexibility. In addition, effective decision-making mediates the effect of strategic intelligence and strategic flexibility towards the performance of logistics companies. Moreover, the influence of effective decision-making on logistics performance is therefore clear and significant towards logistics performance. However, the study supports managers in enhancing sustainability practices in logistics organizations while also offering policy guidance to decision-makers.

The antecedents and consequence of brand coolness: A case of millennial consumers toward fashion clothing brands 品牌酷炫的前因后果:以千禧一代消费者对时尚服装品牌的偏好为例

This research aimed to study the antecedents and consequences of brand coolness for fashion clothing brands in the millennial consumer context. The data was collected through an online questionnaire on 380 consumers who used to buy brand-name fashion clothing. The data were analyzed using the structural equation model. The results showed that the antecedents of brand coolness consisted of brand experience and brand identification, both of which positively influence brand coolness. Brand coolness (i.e., reference, singular, personal, esthetic, functional, energetic, and high status) was the key driver that creates brand equity. The research results were able to explain 94% of the variance in brand coolness and 81% of the variance in brand equity. This research is empirical support that helps expand the perspective on brand coolness and presents a dimension to measure brand coolness in a more transparent and complete method. The research result also complements the marketing knowledge that can guide academics and practitioners in creating substantial brand equity in the customers' hearts.

Measuring the impact of renewable energy consumption on economic growth in Jordan during the period 1990-2020 衡量1990-2020年期间约旦可再生能源消费对经济增长的影响

The study aimed to analyze and measure the impact of renewable energy consumption on economic growth in Jordan during the period 1990-2020 using time series analysis; the study tests the stationarity of the time series using the ARDL model. The results show a positive and significant effect of each, renewable energy consumption, gross fixed capital formation, carbon dioxide emissions, and total population, on the real gross domestic product (GDP). The study recommends the importance of government agencies adopting specialized programs in reducing emissions with stakeholders' participation. To work together to spread awareness in this field, limit the spread of these emissions, and ensure that this is a complementary condition for the sectors participating in these programs to obtain funding and provide it over other sectors.
