Fluvial transport of LPG into the state of Amazonas (Brazil) has been made precarious and artisanal over the years. The solution to this problem was the implementation of the system roll on roll off to boarding canisters of LPG that are sent to the state. This paper presents the case study and the solution to the faced problem. The specific objectives, as well as the results from the implementation of this new mode of delivery of LPG cylinders for the interior of the Amazonas state, will be presented in this article.

Procedures for risk assessment of critical slant prevention ergonomic work stations: a case study 关键防倾斜工效工作站风险评估程序:个案研究

Quality of life (QV) is directly related to the quality of work life (QWL), as it is in the workplace that individuals occupy most of the time. Therefore, states that job satisfaction, daily hours of work, remuneration, conditions of the physical environment, the opportunity to advance, among other factors, are being discussed and studied to make the most satisfying and less harmful to health of employees working conditions. The aim of this study is to identify risk factors that affect the performance of the activities of the production chain partners LTDA Amapoly Industry and Trade, and the impact of predisposing aspects of occupational diseases related to work. This is a qualitative and quantitative study, is characterized by the use of precision measuring outcomes intended to prevent distortion of analysis and interpretation, allowing, therefore, a degree of certainty as to the deductions and qualitative in which the researcher to obtain "measures" with greater internal validity because unstructured observations allow us to know details that structured instruments (questionnaires) can not achieve. From a descr iptive approach that allowed discover and classify the relationship between variables and discover the characteristics of the phenomenon of investigation. Results identified the risk factors affecting the performance of the activities of contributors, and the impact of predisposing aspects of TME. The study confirmed the importance of ergonomics in the investigation of issues related to occupational diseases, namely the causal factors of musculoskeletal disorders, and no prevention among at-risk populations is paramount to first , there is an awareness by both employers and employees.

This paper aims to study the coordination and selectivity of the electrical system of the substations of the terminal tip of the wood, consisting of defining the settings of the protection devices, which in the occurrence of a short circuit is only affected the region of protection action, isolating the smallest part of the electrical system, in the shortest possible time without loss of production and equipment malfunctions, with the aid of nominal data and damage curves of the electrical equipment can generate "time versus current" graphs provided by the software digs siprotec . In the test carried out on the protection devices the three-phase currents of I> or I> were taken into account for the phase-earth currents I0 >> or I0>. The results of the tests were satisfactory due to the efficiency of the software disg siprotec.

Analysis of the environmental temperature according to the type of soil surface in the city of Manaus 根据马瑙斯市土壤表面类型分析环境温度

The pavement is a structure conditioned to numerous factors capable of altering its physical and chemical form, being able to contribute or not to its good performance. The traffic, the climate, the characteristics of the materials that make up the pavement and the maintenance processes used, are preponderant for the determination and dimensioning of surface layers that are increasingly resistant to the elements of the day-to-day. The asphalt mixtures are composed of petroleum residues and present with dark pigmentation, which contributes to the absorption of solar radiation, being able to be determined by the Albedo index. It is valid the understanding of the relation between surface temperature and ambient temperature, since Manaus is one of the cities of the country that suffers most solar incidence, because it is near the equator. For the above, in this study, it is intended to demonstrate through temperature surveys in five different types of paved surfaces: Concrete, Asphalt Sand Machined to the Hot, Asphalt Concrete Machined to the Hot. Unpaved: grass and soil area, with distinct locations, these measures 1.5m from the ground. Data were collected at three different times, namely at 8 am, 12 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The paper presents a clear and objective calculous of demand forecasting for a manufacturing company and rental billiard tables. To this finality, we defined some important concepts in the area. Which were the basis for the development of the methodology applied. It was also necessary to describe a bit about the history and current situation of the company, considering its particularities, which are important for choosing the right model, and comment on the need for such a study be applied in the same context. Made several calculations with different forecast models, with detailed analysis of each model to investigate the mean absolute errors, the end to be chosen only one, which is the ideal situation for the company, on the other words, is in accordance with the provision of data transferred to the staff. Still it was necessary to calculate an average inventory of security that will decide whether the chosen model is actually the most appropriate. And finally calculating demand forecast for the next period.

Reduced Setup Time for an SMT Line 减少SMT生产线的安装时间

The article seeks to investigate the cause in the model changeover delay in the operational process of an automatic surface mount device (SMD) insertion line of TV boards, identifying the factor that causes the time to perform SETUP using the Six Sigma to perform analysis of the results achieved. The tools applied were the process flow mapping, the Ishikawa cause and effect diagram and the Six Sigma standard planning, execution, verification and action cycle, which facilitated data collection and analysis of activities that were divided into: external and internal activities. Through this procedure it was possible to perform the recording and analysis of the data collected. The balancing of the processes and activities of the line before and during the exchange of the SETUP model, displacing external activities that were performed as internal. The next step was to standardize the activities in the process, known as Surface Mount Technology (SMT). The modification of the developed processes was of vital importance to the feeding of machines with higher quality and in a shorter time, determining and separating the common items from the exclusive ones. For this to happen, it was necessary to reprogram the machines. The model identified as critical and a 55-inch TV, the time before the study was over 80 minutes and was reduced to 40 minutes after the actions were implemented. The paper presents clearly how it was obtained and the gains in detail.

This research aims to check SODIS efficiency in the representative context of riverine communities which use rainwater for drinking. The analysis included turbidity, pH, temperature, E. coli and total coliforms (MPN/100ml). The samples were raw water at 0h; after 6 hours of sun exposure; and water 24 hours after the use of SODIS for identifying bacterial regrowth. We conducted an experiment on sunny and cloudy days, analyzing the base supporting the bottles and half-face painted bottles. We obtained the following results: a) the experiment conducted in sunny day decreased from 4 to 0NMP/100 ml coliform bacteria and E. coli, resulting in 100% inactivation, without regrowth after 24 hours; the temperature was 55 ° C on average and maximum of 57 ° C in bottles painted with half face black; b) on cloudy day SODIS decreased total coliforms and E. coli from 4 to 0NMP/100 mL after 6 hours of exposure; the temperature was 45°C and maximum 47°C in painted bottles. The results indicated that the metal surface had no positive influence on the water temperature; the pH remained on average 7.3; Turbidity was 2UNT. We concluded that the SODIS method is effective for the household treatment of rainwater.

In gear transmissions there is a great wear, because there is a sliding velocity between tooth. This sliding in spite of be inevitable has great repercussion over Tooth wear. In gears of sugar mill rollers distance between centers changes during operation and wear is bigger. For this purpose full involute gears are used and sliding increases. Expressions for calculating sliding velocities in such gears are shown in this article.
