The current electrical and electronic products industry have features extremely dynamic and with constant search for improvement in their manufacturing processes, seeking greater efficiency and lower costs. In the manufacturing process of the main board on tablets, in the area of welding technology, there was a problem in the micro USB connector soldering process causing high defect rates. The purpose of this article was to conduct assessment and proposal for improvement in this process. The methods and techniques used were quality tools PDCA cycle, cause and effect diagram and 5W2H. Among these solutions, the choice was to implement pallets of durestone to maintain the alignment of the connector on the reflow soldering oven. The results show a reduction in failure rates from 12.40% to 0.09% in the production line, which avoided the institution generate a total of 24,800 defective boards on the total to be produced. The total cost savings from logistics repair of these boards was approximately 70.002,80. USD

This article presents the importance of the Management Information System MIS for decision-making in the strategic management of private companies, since the changes are inevitable because of the technological innovations that are now listed on the market. MIS is critical to the success of organizations and help in the administrative area through strategies to use reports that assist in controlling the necessary information for the management and standardization of processes, thus providing increased production, sales, failure reduction in processes and also assists in the implementation of integrated systems. MIS The methodology used was the bibliographical studies, books and articles of renowned authors, the subject matter in this work proved to describe the relevance of MIS, seeking to bring the situations that involve the knowledge and strategies to be applied to continuous improvement of organization. The discussions showed that, after use of MIS all companies should have a control in the most efficient information on all processes of the organization since in possession of information generally becomes practical and efficient administrative management of MIS.

This work deal with the design of a frequency regulator based on the mixed method, for water flow and it ballasts loads, where an algorithm of intelligent control, a Fuzzy control, is used accompanied by a PI control. By means of the software PROTEUS 8.6 as programming and simulation tool, the PROTEL for the physical design of the prototype. Besides, the final design of the prototype is contributed, for a future implementation and setting in service in one of the PCH installed in Cuba. This work is carried out in programming language in C with which bigger flexibility is achieved in the simulation of the prototype PROTEUS it has more than enough, also emulating the electronics. Also, the feigned electronic outlines of the system are shown and data of parameters and the state of the alarms are offered.

The Survival Analysis is the set of statistical techniques that evaluate the time until the occurrence of a certain event, even with the presence of elements that do not provide complete information about their respective times, called censored data. The objective of this work is to present the effects of the insertion of censored data in the reliability analysis of electric lamps using three non-parametric estimators, Kaplan-Meier, Nelson-Aalen and Life Table as comparative methods. The results showed that the difference between the survival function with the censored and uncensored data is more intense in the case of the presence of type I censorship. It was verified that the estimators tend to overestimate the survival with the censorship increase, independently of the Type of this, however, they maintain the same downward trend of survival over time. In the overestimation question, the estimator Nelson-Aalen showed ahead of the others.

This article makes a comparative analysis of ribbed slabs and steel deck type, in works in the city of Manaus. The study was built from the comparative analysis method that seeks a causal inference, trying to define a comparative systematic illustration, that is, it seeks to verify the main attributes of a model and to compare it to another model by checking the advantages and disadvantages of one or the other. The choice of the theme was therefore motivated by the comparative analysis of the following points: the demand for more work in relation to the issue of slab production and execution; the ambiguity surrounding the discussions and proposals on the predominantly regional theme; and the need to evaluate the production and execution of the two (2) types of slabs (ribbed and steel deck type). the steel deck slabs have a lower cost than the ribbed slabs, corresponding to a 20.0% difference. However, for spans greater than 6.0 m, the relative cost of the steel deck slab increases significantly, reaching a difference of more than 70%.
