For the last few decades, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has become a strategic position within the company. There are two beliefs underlying that. First, GCG is the key to the company's success to grow and provide long-term benefits and to be able to win competition in the business world. Second, the poor implementation of GCG in the business sector is causing failure. Good Corporate Governance is a system that has the task of aligning the company's vision and mission with the management of the company. GCG implementation in a good company must have four basic principles namely transparancy, accountability, responsibility, Independence, and fairness. The paper is aimed at determining the level of coordination that exists among the different agencies that are involved in solid waste management in Zaria Urban area. Structured questionnaire and literature review were used to obtain data and information on the roles and responsibilities of agencies involved in solid waste management as well as the nature of inter-agency relationship in the study area. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 13 representatives of the Solid Waste Management agencies. Methods of data analysis employed for the research were the descriptive statistics (frequency analysis, percentage distribution, mean scores, grand mean scores and content analysis) for both government agencies and formal private waste collectors. The two points ordinal scale 1 representing yes and 2 representing no was employed for obtaining information on inter-agency relationships while the multiple options likert scale format was used for obtaining information on the level of coordination that exists among the different agencies, using such indicators as collaboration, consultation and information exchange. The multiple options likert scale questions type was also used to obtain information on effects of absence of a well-coordinated solid waste management system within the study area. The results of the analysis of the indicators of coordination using the two points ordinal scale on inter-agency relationship and other indicators, that is collaboration, consultation and information exchange also signified inefficient coordination among the agencies. The paper recommended among others that, there is need to prepare a well-coordinated and common solid waste management plan for common implementation by all stakeholders, which will guide policy formulation and coordinate all urban solid waste management issues within the urban area and also information exchange should be improved by providing effective means of communication among the institutions in the areas of public awareness campaigns, regularity of accessibility of the institutions to up to date information from other institutions

In present day quality crop cultivation is the prime objective for achieving the desire seed yield. The current problem of wheat cultivation is contributing in low yield due to use of old technology like unawareness about the efficient method and time of application of fertilizer etc. The present price hike of fertilizers is one of the main constraints to increase the economic yield of crops. Thus efforts are needed to minimize its losses and to enhance its economic use. Foliar nutrients play a vital role in cultivation of cereal crops for increasing seed yield & productivity in a sustainable manner. The present experiment has been designed to critically observe into matter by scanning out the combination of foliar nutrients in grain filling and seed yield of wheat. There were altogether nine treatments of supplementary foliar nutrients along with water spray at 50% flowering and grain filling stages. The investigation clearly shows that significantly highest seed yield (2840 kg ha-1 ) with foliar application of NaCl @ 0.5%. Lowest seed yield (2220 kg ha-1 ) was observed in water sprayed control treatment. The seed yield was increased up to 27.92% with the application of NaCl @ 0.5% over control.

This study was carried out to ascertain the effect of energy drink and mixture of energy drink with different brands of alcohol on some biochemical parameters. Sixteen (16) male albino rats weighing 120- 160g were divided into four (4) groups. The groups were divided thus: Group 1: Control- feed and water ad libitum, Group 2: 3.75ml/kg Bullet Energy drink only, Group 3: 3.75ml/kg Bullet energy drink + 1ml/kg of 41% alcohol dry gin and Group 4: 3.75ml/kg Bullet energy drink + 1ml/kg of 5.1% alcoholic beer. The experiment lasted for 28 days after which the animals were fasted for 12 hours before they were sacrificed and their blood collected for biochemical analyses. There was a significant increase in body weight of animals in group 2-4 and also the glucose concentration was elevated. The result presented in table 2 showed that there is a statistically significant difference (p<0.05) in the level of ALT and ALP in treatment groups when compared to the control group (1). Also, elevated level of cholesterol and triglycerides were also observed. From this data, we may conclude that there are high risk of constantly taking energy drink alone or in combination with alcohol.

In a computer network, an attack is an attempt to destroy or steal unauthorized information or make use of information as an asset. One of the attacks is a reconnaissance attack considered as the first step of a computer attack. This type of attack is mostly done by a black hat, an expert in the programmer, by scanning the internal network devices and gather vulnerability information. In this paper, shows the identification of open ports and services through the network and available IP on the network are possible to attack.

‘Scent’ has a tremendous influence on the way people shop and relate to brands. Branding has always been about establishing emotional ties between the brand and the customer. By influencing the senses, brands can establish a stronger and longer lasting emotional connection with the customer and finally be memorable. While research doesn't clearly point to pleasant smells boosting sales, stores are embracing scent marketing as a way to create exciting store ambience. The present study is an attempt to examine the impact of ambient Scent on the customers’ and employees’ of organized retail stores.

Sewage treatment plants produce large quantities of sewage sludge as by-products, as the sludge contains elements harmful to environment. Such study investigated of utilizing different percentages of sewage (7, 14 and 21%) of soil weight. The stabilization / solidification process was used to improve the properties of the organic soil and meet its requirements. This technique was the use of traditional and nontraditional additives such as cement and styrene acrylic. The major objective of that research is to evaluate efficiency of stabilized soils through comparison of stabilizers. The organic soil was prepared and stabilizers were added in different proportions (3, 6 and 9%) for the purpose of the tests. Mechanical tests (Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) and Hardness) were used for the soil sample to estimate the best mixing and obtaining higher strength. Through outcome of the UCS and hardness tests, cement was most effective agent of styrene in terms of improving the properties, strength and hardness of the organic treated soil.
