A comparison of multiple model filters for maneuvering target tracking 机动目标跟踪中多模型滤波器的比较

Proposes a maneuvering target tracking algorithm using multiple model filters. This filtering algorithm is discussed in terms of tracking performance, tracking success rate and tracking accuracies for short sampling interval as compared with other conventional methodologies. Through several simulations, validity of this algorithm has been confirmed.

Multisensor vehicle tracking method for intelligent highway system 智能公路系统中的多传感器车辆跟踪方法

Presents a vehicle tracking method which fuses data from an image sensor and radar installed on the roadside. The image sensor is widely used for road monitoring systems, but it is difficult to detect a vehicle in poor visibility. On the other hand, millimeter waves are less attenuated by fog, rain and snow. Consequently, it is possible to detect vehicles in all weather by using radar together with the image sensor. As for observation accuracy, the image sensor is superior in the accuracy of angle measuring. On the other hand, radar is superior in accuracy for range measurement. By utilizing these various features, therefore, the tracking performance is improved. This method adopts a correlation technique that uses a likelihood of range rate observed by radar, in addition to a likelihood of position, so that this method is generally able to track the vehicles from observation vectors even if false detection occurs. The performance of this method is evaluated by simulations.

Collision avoidance controller for AUV systems using stochastic real value reinforcement learning method 基于随机实值强化学习方法的AUV系统避碰控制器

Based on the basic principles of the reinforcement learning and also motion characteristic of an AUV system, named Twin Burger 2, a collision avoidance algorithm is proposed here. Most of the researches in reinforcement learning have been done on the problems with discrete action spaces. However, many control problems require the application of continuous control signals. In this research we are going to present a stochastic real value reinforcement learning algorithm for learning functions with continuous outputs. Obstacle avoidance mission is divided into targeting and avoiding behavior. Because of the complexity of the implemented method, only targeting results, which are achieved most recently, are proposed here and research is under progress to achieve to the final goal.

Implementation of a three-level inverter controlling an induction motor 一种控制感应电机的三电平逆变器的实现

Deals with the implementation of diode-clamped-three level inverter controlling an induction motor. Two alternatives are applied to control the inverter (i) using a precise digital/analog PWM switching circuit, and (ii) using a feedback controlled digital microcontroller switching circuit. The implemented system includes, in addition, an analog simulator to check the validity of switching signals produced. The paper gives a complete description of the system and some results of testing it.

A study on adaptation mechanism of Physarum based on chemo-mechanical system 基于化学-机械系统的绒泡菌适应机制研究

Biological systems can adapt to dynamic environments by including both flexibility to environments and consistency of the whole system. In this paper, we attempt to clarify the mechanism of such autonomy of biological systems by developing the adaptation model of Physarum, which consists of endoplasmic, ectoplasmic and intermediate layers. In an ectoplasmic layer, the chemical system generates a spatial relationship in small time scale. In an endoplasmic layer, the mechanical system affects the chemical system in a large time scale. We assume that chemo-mechanical coupling system of two systems plays an important role in adaptation. Under these conditions, mutual interaction between the above chemical system and mechanical system is investigated. As a result, it is suggested that the chemical system is flexible and the mechanical system is consistent under a dynamic environment. In addition, we investigate spatio-temporal development of actual Physarum by making an image processing experimental system to check out the validity of our model.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the basic thermal state of the room under winter conditions with built-in radiant heating system through a simulation model, which could be used direct for its controlling in order to reduce energy consumption and to get required comfortable temperature there.

Robust fuzzy sliding mode controller design for DC motor with experimental implementation 直流电动机鲁棒模糊滑模控制器设计及实验实现

Recently, sliding mode control (SMC) has been widely used in speed control of electric drive systems. It provides attractive features such as fast dynamic response, insensitivity to variations in plant parameters and external disturbance. However, chattering is one problem, which limits the use of the SMC to control DC motor drives in industry. This paper presents a fuzzy variable structure controller for the DC motor drives. The fuzzy controller is used to adjust the switching gain constant in the sliding mode controller to guarantee the system stability and practically to eliminate the chattering problem. The performance of the proposed system is compared with that of traditional variable structure and sliding mode with boundary layers method.

Performance estimation of track-initiation method with the measurements of infrared sensors by using MHT techniques 利用MHT技术对红外传感器测得的轨迹起爆方法进行性能估计

The fundamental problems of target tracking in a multiple-target environment with clutters, such as false alarms, missed detections, and so forth are the uncertain origin of measurements. In such a multiple-target environment, there is a need to perform track-initiation procedure by which the beginning of a track of each target is detected. We (1999) previously proposed a new track initiation method based on an assumption that the measurements used are observed by highly nonuniform measurement patterns in a multiple target environment. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the trade-initiation between the proposed method and the conventional method by using the feature of measurement patterns obtained by optical sensors.

Assembly sequence planning for a chip mounter using transportation algorithm 基于传输算法的贴片机装配顺序规划

This paper proposes a sequence planning method to reduce the assembly time of gantry-type chip mounters with single head. We divide the overall path of the chip mounter into forward and backward path, and formulate the optimization problem as a transportation problem and an Euler's tour problem. The transportation algorithm is applied to the formulated problem to find an optimal backward path, and then Euler's tour algorithm is used to generate an assembly sequence. Simulation results are presented to verify the usefulness of the method.

Simulation based education and training, especially wargame simulations are being widely used in the field of defence modeling and simulation communities. In order to efficiently train students and trainees, the wargame simulations must have both high performance and high fidelity. In this paper, we discuss design and implementation issues for a tentative wargame simulation on a distribution system. This wargame simulation system is based on high-level architecture and employs optimization to achieve a high performance and high fidelity simulation system.
