Online switched model identification platform for an electric tricycle 电动三轮车在线切换模型识别平台

In this article is presented an electronic experimental platform or kit; this platform consists of an electronic circuit board, a handlebar position-sensor and a capacitive sensor on the front wheel. The platform is intended to obtain a set of linear mathematical models of an electric tricycle for different driving situations. Such models have the throttle-position and the handlebar-angle as inputs and the yaw angle, positioning and speed as states. The models are calculated in realtime, at the same time acquisition data is preserved in a SD-memory if desired. Applications of this platform are dynamical modeling, educational purposes, safety systems and autonomous vehicles control design among others. This low-cost platform can be adapted to any electric tricycle and extended for its use on e-bicycles and electric 4-wheeled vehicles.

Design of an unbiased finite impulse response filter for a smart sensor to estimate state of CO concentration 一种用于估计一氧化碳浓度状态的智能传感器的无偏有限脉冲响应滤波器设计

Carbon monoxide (CO) is produced by incomplete combustion of organic materials. Dense urban areas present high concentration of CO which might be harmful for human life. Large and expensive industrial analyzers, placed at specific locations, are used to monitor this gas concentration, creating a poor density monitoring network. To increase granularity of the measurement grid, low cost smart sensors are located over the zone of interest. The reliability of such devises is increased by using unbiased, robust, predictive, and desirably blind signal processing algorithms. In this paper, we propose a novel blind iterative unbiased finite impulse response (UFIR) filtering algorithm, which meets the above requirements. Experimental verification is given for both the missing and complete measurement data of the CO concentration. High accuracy and precision of the predictive UFIR estimator are demonstrated in a short time and on a long time scale.

Nonlinear optimal tracking control in combination with sliding modes: Application to the Pendubot 结合滑模的非线性最优跟踪控制:在悬垂机器人上的应用

This paper proposes a robust control scheme based on the combination of nonlinear optimal tracking control with sliding modes for a class of nonlinear systems, which can be represented into the so-called regular form. Firstly, an optimal controller is proposed to define an optimal sliding surface, and secondly, the surface is used for synthesizing a super-twisting controller (a second-order sliding mode technique). This combination takes the advantages of optimality and robustness of both control methodologies, respectively, resulting in an optimal sliding mode controller, which constitutes the main contribution of this paper. The effectiveness of the control methodology is illustrated via simulations for the Pendubot, which is a nonlinear and non-minimum phase system.

Photovoltaic inverter with power decoupling ripple-port for DC voltage ripple minimization 具有功率去耦纹波口的直流电压纹波最小化光伏逆变器

A single-phase photovoltaic inverter presents a double line frequency voltage ripple which means it needs a bulky capacitor for reducing this issue, however, it causes power density decreases. The approach of this paper is to obtain high conversion efficiency, using film capacitors instead of the electrolytic capacitors in order to minimize double-line-frequency voltage ripple. Proper operation of the proposed topology has been corroborated through simulation results, showing that the injection of photovoltaic power to the grid and attenuated dc-link voltage ripple are carried out simultaneously.

Mismatch compensation in low power operational transconductance amplifiers using MIFGMOS 基于MIFGMOS的低功率跨导运算放大器失配补偿

The present trend on VLSI CMOS technology is to reduce the transistor switching losses by reducing the supply voltage and increasing the operational frequency, at the cost of increasing the non-idealities on the transistors. For mixed mode applications, the analog engineer must cope with these issues to design analog-to-digital converters or analog applications using nanometric CMOS devices. In this paper, a design approach based on a multiple input floating gate technology is applied to a fully differential low power, low voltage operational transconductance amplifier that allows the use of low supply voltages and reduces the mismatch of the transistors. Simulation results indicate that the use of the floating gate approach does not show any advantage to control the gain of the amplifier. However, this approach is very useful as a means to control the differential pair voltage of the proposed design, allowing an offset voltage compensation of nearly zero volts. The performance of the proposed design approach is demonstrated by considering a voltage supply bias of +/− 0.45V, by obtaining a dissipated power of 12.2 microwatts, a bandwidth of 120 kHz, and 35 dB gain. The design is performed using the Cadence design framework environment based on a 130nm technology.

A novel low latency integral image architecture 一种新颖的低延迟积分图像架构

An integral image is a vital pre-processing step for several detection algorithms. Object detection algorithm requires real-time operation. Therefore, a strong restriction of time is imposed over the integral image processing. However, the integral image calculation speed is proportional to the image resolution. Hardware implementation provides the necessary speed to achieve a real-time object detection. Previous approaches have relied on an image that has been acquired and stored beforehand to start processing it. However, the performance of the system must take into consideration the acquisition and storing of the image. This paper introduces an integral image architecture that integrates the acquisition and processing stage. Therefore, the proposed architecture leaves out the need for external memory and eliminates the need to wait for an image to be acquired and stored.

Evaluation of the coherence between the control of the variability of the photoplethysmographic pulse amplitude and the heart rate variability Coherence in PPGAV and HRV PPGAV和HRV患者光容积脉搏波振幅变异性控制与心率变异性一致性的评价

Heart rate variability (HRV) is an analysis tool through which is possible to analyze the autonomic nervous system (ANS) in its two sympathetic and parasympathetic pathways. Photoplethysmography (PPG) has been used to determine beat-to-beat blood volume changes in both arterial and surrounding tissues. In this work we used a characteristic of the pulsatile signal, mainly associated with the changes in the arterial diameters, the amplitude of the photoplethysmographic beat to beat pulse (PPGAV) and its corresponding association with the modification of the ANS activity. In this study participated a group of thirty volunteers (15M, 15F, 22.9±1.95 years). In order to stimulate the ANS we used the five minutes clinostatism to orthostatism maneuver by which we obtained the tachograms and the amplitudes of the PPG pulses. Later the frequency domain analysis was carried out by Statistica Software, determining the high and low frequency components for both maneuvers. To establish the linear relationship in the frequency domain, the spectral coherence function was used. The analysis of HRV and PPGAV in this group of volunteers revealed that there is a decrease in the PPG amplitude at the clinostatism / orthostatism postural change, suggesting an increase of the sympathetic activity towards the blood vessels, which causes vasoconstriction, thus reflecting a decrease in the value of the spectral coherence in response to the stimulus caused by the maneuver.

Obstacle detection system fuzzy controller applied to an electric three-wheeled vehicle 障碍物检测系统模糊控制器在电动三轮车辆中的应用

In this paper, it is reported the model and control of an obstacle detection system (ODS) for an electric three-wheeled vehicle. The model analysis and considerations are derived in a similar way to the well-known bicycle case. A typical scenario, that simulates several road conditions, is considered to evaluate the proposed ODS's Fuzzy Logic Controller. Numerical simulations show that the reported controller is able to avoid obstacles and evading the roll-over condition.

The aim of this work was to study the influence of pore KCNH2 mutation on the effects of dofetilide. Markovian models of A561V/WT mutation and dofetilide have been introduced in guinea pig ventricular cellular model. The effects of this pore mutation affecting this channel were analyzed. Using this mutated cellular model we have studied the effects of dofetilide concentrations (IhERG blocker). The results showed that the reduction of the rapid component of delayed rectifier potassium current conductance is the main factor in the prolongation of duration of action potential in the case of A561V/WT mutation. The action of dofetilide prolongs the duration of action potential in the A561V/WT epicardial and endocardial cells. In addition, exposure of A561V/WT to this drug amplifies the amplitude of the early after depolarizations generated in midmyocardial cells by the mutation alone. In conclusion, the heterozygous A561V/WT pore hERG mutation increases the proarrhythmic risk of dofetilide prolonging the duration of action potential and enhancing the dispersion of repolarization.

A new switching time calculation algorithm for SPWM three-phase voltaje source inverter SPWM三相电压源逆变器开关时间计算新算法

The voltage source inverter has become an important component for renewable energy sources. This inverter uses Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) as the most common method for inverter controlling due to presents some advantages to other modulation techniques as, output voltage harmonic content reduction, the power loss in the switching devices is low and can be easily implemented using a digital controller. However, the SPWM technique can be improved by mean of the own concepts, thus a simple and practical implementation can be achieved. In this paper, a simple and effective methodology for switching time calculation for a SPWM three phase inverter is presented. A detailed methodology and algorithm are provided to program three independent microcontrollers, one for each phase, which must be synchronized to produce the right modulation. Therefore, the three phases are handled independently, and each phase can be controlled in a decoupled mode. In addition, the programming can be carried out in any programming software for simple and known functions, in this case MATLAB is used. In order to assess the proposed methodology and corroborate the inverter proper behavior, the microcontrollers simulation with the calculated switching times in ISIS software is performed.
