A GIS+MCDA based assessment method of potential onshore wind power development sites in Mongolia 基于GIS+MCDA的蒙古陆上风电开发潜力评估方法

To facilitate the Northeast Asian Power Grid interconnection and the export of Mongolian renewable energy, a Geographical Information System (GIS) based assessment method of potential sites for onshore wind power farm is proposed. Firstly, taking into consideration all existing electrical and road infrastructures, this paper assesses the available areas for wind power development, and then wind resources and technological potentials are evaluated using the ranking method of weighted linear combination technique and GIS-based Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). The four factors are selected to assess the overall suitability of each location, including wind speed and the accessibility to existing roads, villages, substations, etc. Finally, based on each criterion and their weights, a composite map of best sites is generated.

A Voltage Regulating Method Considering the Control Benefit for Medium-voltage Bus 一种考虑中压母线控制效益的调压方法

Aiming at the rigidity of voltage regulating scheme and the lack of reactive power compensation resources in medium-voltage distribution networks, a voltage regulating method for medium-voltage bus which considering the control benefit is proposed. First of all, each user in the same bus is estimated by its voltage quality, power consumption and electrical stability, and the evaluation indexes of user’s priority are determined. The improved entropy method is applied to determine the index weights; and the definition of control benefit is proposed, which is used to quantify the improvement of voltage quality of all users under a certain regulating scheme. Then various regulating schemes could be sorted according to their control benefits, and a scheme which can maximize the voltage quality of all users under the limited resources and means could be screened out. Finally an example is given to prove the practicability and effectiveness of this method.

Harmonic Responsibility Division Method for Microgrid 微电网谐波责任划分方法

Heavy-permeability power electronics make the harmonic sources more complex in microgrid. In order to accurately evaluate the issue of harmonic responsibility generated by distributed generations and individual customers, this paper proposes a method of harmonic responsibility division based on ideal load current. There are two indices named ideal load current and the non-ideal load current are defined according to the ideal load characteristics. Depending on the harmonic voltage propagation characteristics of distributed generation and non-linear load, the ideal load parameters of microgrid are calculated by analyzing multiple harmonic source equivalent networks of microgrid from the perspective of individual customers, and the harmonic current generated by background harmonic voltage is decoupled from the ideal load current under the condition of deterioration of the voltage waveform, and the load harmonic current is decoupled from the non-ideal load current to realize the harmonic responsibility division of the microgrid. The proposed method does not need to calculate the network structure and system impedance information. Several cases of simulation analysis prove the validity and rationality of this method.

In this paper, a new disruptive combined voltage and current sensor is presented. The current measuring technique allows for three phase current measurements from the outside of a three phase cable. It will be evident from the paper that the existing voltage and current measurement transformers suffer inherent limitations when targeting low cost power system analysis and asset management and new sensing techniques are required. The new current and voltage measuring technique will be presented in this paper along with measuring cases from the field to proof the effectiveness of this new sensor. The sensor can operate as a mini localized SCADA system by performing a wide variety of power system analysis both in long-and short term, but the sensor can also operate as a traditional measuring device and transmit the low level data to the SCADA system. It will be evident from the paper that this localized data processing method in combination with the disruptive current measuring technique can pave the way for the distribution grid to become just as smart as the transmission part of the grid is already. The much better cost/performance ration suddenly makes ‘smart grid’ possible all over the secondary substations.

Extenuating Shortfall of Electric Power through Potential Accessible in Pakistan 通过巴基斯坦的潜在可及性来缓解电力短缺

Almost all countries worldwide have recognized the significance of dominance that is to be self-sufficient when it comes to power generations and management. In order to deal with universal scarcity differences, power system must undergo an insurgency that specializes in know-how of the shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Some independent power stations have prominently backed to the production of energy in Pakistan, though, according to the data retrieved from Washington post, 32% of country’s population suffers from load shedding. This paper discusses the concept of traditional and renewable energies from the production, supply and use of existing possessions. The method of solving such a crisis is discussed by the end of this paper, according to which, by utilizing the Renewable energy scarcity can be minimized and big projects based on hydro, wind, solar and coal will offer permanent solution against electrical shortcomings.

A New Generalized Integrated Load Model and Its Equivalent Description Based on a Variety of New Energy Loads 基于多种新能源负荷的广义综合负荷模型及其等效描述

With the addition of new distributed energy sources, a new and more accurate load model need to be established. Based on MATLAB/Simulink, this paper researches on the modeling and simulating of photovoltaic power generation system and battery energy storage and their equivalent model. First, a detailed model of the photovoltaic system is built. Boost circuit and MPPT control are selected on the DC side of photovoltaic power generation system. The double closed loop control method of current internal loop and external voltage loop is used for grid inverter control. The model is improved considering the capability of LVRT (low voltage ride through). Based on the above precise models, the model is equaled. The equivalent transfer function is calculated by the grid connected control loop, so the model is simplified. The battery energy storage module establishes a general mathematical model based on the charging and discharging principle. Charge and discharge are controlled through the DC/DC converter. And it is connected to the power grid after inverting and filtering. The common PQ control are selected in the inverter control mode. According to the same principle, the energy storage model is equaled. Finally, based on the traditional load model, the above load model is added to set up a new generalized integrated load model. And the actual model is replaced to build up an equivalent model. The equivalent model is compared with the actual model to verify the equivalent description ability.

Grid Reduction Method Considering Electromagnetic Loop and Local Accommodation Effect for the Dynamic Equivalent 考虑电磁环和局部调节效应的动态等效网格化简方法

Keeping the invariability of power flow and dynamic characteristics of generators rotor angles before and after the equivalent is an essential evaluation indicator for dynamic equivalence, which is necessary to electromagnetic transient modeling and simulation. A novel dynamic equivalent method is proposed for large-scale power systems electromagnetic transient modeling, which could reflect the characteristics of power alternation via electromagnetic loop and local accommodation among generators and loads in the equivalent network. The key method is to determine an equivalent bus for each node located in the equivalent section firstly, calculate the equivalent bus voltage(magnitude and phase) as well as the impedance of the equivalent tie branch follow the principle of unchanged of power flow and total current of the boundary transmission sections based on the initial operation point of the original power grids, then compute the effective sending power ability of equivalent coherent generators, and the effective receiving power ability for each equivalent bus. The effective load is summed finally for every equivalent bus. The real power system cases equivalent results demonstrate the accuracy and effectiveness of the method.

The key method is to determine an equivalent bus for each node located in the equivalent section firstly, calculate the equivalent bus voltage(magnitude and phase) as well as the impedance of the equivalent tie branch follow the principle of unchanged of power flow and total current of the boundary transmission sections based on the initial operation point of the original power grids, then compute the effective sending power ability of equivalent coherent generators, and the effective receiving power ability for each equivalent bus. The effective load is summed finally for every equivalent bus. Optimization Strategy of CCHP Integrated Energy System Based on Source-Load Coordination 基于源负荷协调的热电联产综合能源系统优化策略

This paper focuses on the park-level CCHP integrated energy system (IES). In order to track the fluctuation of the renewable energy and load in real time, an optimal dispatching strategy based on Model Predictive Control is proposed, which considers the schedulable resources on both sides of the source and the load. At first, mathematical models are established for the equipment units and energy supply networks in the system. Then, the index of integrated energy exergy-efficiency is introduced into the model to make the optimization results more rational. Combing the integrated energy exergy-efficiency and the operation cost, a multi-objective optimization is applied to obtain the day-ahead dispatching scheme as the base plan. On the basis of the day-ahead plan, the intraday rolling optimization based on source-load coordination is carried out with the objective of integrated energy exergy-efficiency. The results of case studies show the correctness and effectiveness of the strategy proposed in this paper.
本文以园区级热电联产综合能源系统为研究对象。为了实时跟踪可再生能源和负荷的波动,提出了一种考虑源和负荷两侧可调度资源的基于模型预测控制的最优调度策略。首先建立了系统中设备单元和供能网络的数学模型。然后,在模型中引入综合能源效率指标,使优化结果更加合理。结合综合能源能用效率和运行成本,采用多目标优化方法,得到日前调度方案作为基本方案。在日前计划的基础上,以综合能源能效为目标,进行了基于源荷协调的日内滚动优化。案例研究结果表明了本文所提出的策略的正确性和有效性。

Distribution Pricing Based on Improved Long-Run Incremental Cost Pricing with Dynamic Security Factor 基于改进的动态安全系数长期增量成本定价的配送定价

To meet network security requirements, all components of network are designed to be able to withstand contingencies, which results in significant cost to network development. Hence, network pricing should take network security into consideration. In the original long-run incremental cost(LRIC) pricing method, security factor is defined to charge for network security. It assumes that security factor is constant before and after the nodal injection. This paper proposes an improved LRIC pricing method, considering the fact that security factor of each component will be changed with nodal injections. This paper analyzes the factors that affect the security factor and illustrates the improved LRIC method with dynamic security factor. To demonstrate the difference between the improved LRIC pricing method and the original LRIC pricing method, simulation studies are conducted on a three-nodes system and the IEEE 14-nodes system, respectively; and the results show that the improved LRIC method can more accurately reflect the impact on network costs from users and ensure more reasonable allocation of network costs.

A Power Quality Pricing Method Based on Risk Management in Deregulated Electricity Retail Market 放松管制的电力零售市场中基于风险管理的电能质量定价方法

In the deregulated electricity market, power quality (PQ) service can be regarded as an ancillary service which can be tailored according to user’s individual demands. In this paper, a pricing method of PQ service is introduced with voltage dip and harmonic as examples. Firstly, with quality risk management taken into consideration, the mathematical model to pricing tailored PQ service is established. Then the method to calculate compensation criterion for possible situations is presented when PQ fails to meet the expected performance. In this way, both power sale companies and users are motivated to promote PQ level. Finally, case study results show that this method can meet the needs of users, realize the 1isk transfer and also enable the power sale companies to make profits.
在放松管制的电力市场中,电能质量服务可以看作是一种辅助服务,可以根据用户的个性化需求进行定制。本文以电压倾斜和谐波为例,介绍了一种PQ服务的定价方法。首先,考虑质量风险管理,建立了定制PQ服务定价的数学模型。在此基础上,提出了PQ不能满足预期性能时的补偿准则计算方法。这样一来,无论是售电公司还是用户都有动力去提升PQ水平。最后,案例分析结果表明,该方法既能满足用户需求,实现风险转移,又能使售电企业实现盈利。
