This paper presents an on-going research about a new system of communication for people with cerebral palsy (CP) with athetoid problems. These people have gestural and speech difficulties; so they need help for communicating with people and systems. The system proposed is called ComMOB (COMmunication means for MOBility). Its user interface is based on pictograms to accelerate the input. Moreover, the aim is that this system is context sensitive.

Bowersox and Daugherty, 1987 introduced the topology for studying the logistics strategy and they validated it, many researchers start to use the model in their researches, and by surveying the previous studies related to logistics strategy we will not find a consistent result. the gap in logistics strategy area relay on validating the Bowersox and Daugherty topology and its effect on the competitive performance of the companies in different economies because most of research regarding the logistics strategy applied on USA. the current study validate the Bowersox and Daugherty topology in Egypt by using the structure equation modeling technique.

A multi-criteria decision making approach based on fuzzy theory and fuzzy preference relations for urban distribution centers' location selection under uncertain environments 基于模糊理论和模糊偏好关系的不确定环境下城市配送中心选址多准则决策方法

Location selection of Urban Distribution Centers (UDC) is crucial in the design of efficient logistics systems. Indeed, optimum UDC location plays a vital role in saving distribution costs and minimizing traffic congestion arising from freight movement. In this paper, we suggest a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach to solve the Urban Distribution Center location /allocation problem under uncertain environment. The proposed approach involves identification of possible locations with the aim of selecting the smartest location for implementing an UDC. The ratings and the weight of each alternative and criterion are described by linguistic variables which can be expressed in triangular fuzzy numbers. The final evaluation value of each UDC location is also expressed using fuzzy logic theory. After calculating the difference of the final evaluation value between each pair of UDC location, a fuzzy preference relation matrix is constructed to show the degree of preferences of one plant location over another. After that, a smart ranking procedure is anticipated to determine the ranking order of all alternative locations. Finally, a numerical application is presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed approach.

Conceptualizing road safety management through complex territorialized systems: Context and goals 通过复杂的领土化系统概念化道路安全管理:背景和目标

Despite many efforts to prevent traffic accidents, road accident statistics remain a cause of concern throughout the world. After analyzing the possible reasons for this in France, this study seeks to extend the issue of Road Safety to that of a global territorial issue which responds to the characteristics of a complex spatialized system. The methodology used in the ANR CRITERION program merges both interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder objectives based on an information system that combines approaches formalized by scientists and experts in the field. This methodology combines them by comparing the representations structured around explicit data models and the more empirical concepts expressed by technical experts in charge of local public action. The tool provides a user-friendly mapping formulation of the opinions and conclusions of the partners highlighting the possible correlations between forms and characteristics of the area, road safety measures, accidents and the infrastructure observed in the field. It makes it possible to identify, spatialize, qualify and compare the areas to be processed. This application seeks to elevate the road safety issue and place it among the strategic concerns of territorial management, beyond its current and still minor involvement in urban development plans.

Logistics outsourcing relationships: Conceptual model 物流外包关系:概念模型

Over the last decades, outsourcing has become important for many organizations. In order to clarify logistics outsourcing relationships, a literature review of existing theoretical and empirical studies was presented. The objective of this research is to describe the relationships between logistics service providers and their customers. It aims at increasing interaction between customers and logistics service providers. In this article, we develop a model of logistics outsourcing and we present hypotheses regarding the antecedents and consequences of trust. Our analysis is based on an extensive survey of the literature on logistics outsourcing relationship.

Optimizing road traffic of emergency vehicles 优化应急车辆道路通行

In our application, and in the context of optimizing the flow of an emergency vehicle in time, we will rely on two tools (mathematics and computer science) in order to avoid delays and risks that characterize the movement of these vehicles. We will use VANET networks as a transmission system to retrieve information about the road incident, and after that, we shall use the Kalman algorithm for tracking our vehicle clarify to specify its position on the predefined path in order to intervene and change its direction towards a safer driving at the same point.

The integration of the environmental dimension is crucial in industrial activity. Designers should integrate the new environmental constraints to adapt their approaches and methodologies in the framework of eco-innovation of industrial products and consumer goods. This paper proposes a new method integrating ecological aspects into the innovation process composed of three main stages: an analysis and structuring of the product, the formalization of the problem and the resolution phase. According to the structuring and the design objectives, actions can be selected and allow to guide the design to the most relevant modification to perform on the product. An illustration of the approach is applied on the optimization of the environmental impacts related to the logistical aspects.

From formal specifications to efficient test scenarios generation 从正式的规格说明到高效的测试场景生成

Various formal testing methods have been developed in the past decades. Most of them are based on graphical notations such as finite state machines, labelled transitions systems, etc., which remain quite intuitive for users to perform black box testing. In addition, testing methods based on temporal logics have been also investigated, such as the testing methods inspired by model checking. However, testing with model checkers often needs a model of System Under Test (SUT) to be known. This paper discusses a method for generating test cases from specifications expressed in CTL* temporal logic, under a black-box framework. The test generation process from CTL* is inspired by Banerjee et al.'s work [1] which has developed a technique to generate non-vacuous test scenarios from LTL properties. The essential step of our test generation method is to rewrite a pertinent CTL* property in terms of present state Boolean propositions and X(Next)-guarded temporal properties. The generated test benches are implemented within the ControlBuild tool.

The aim of this study is to find an efficient method for risk management which take into the complexity of this research area. Indeed, there are several method used in risk management but unfortunately, does not hold the interaction that can exist between risks. To remedy this disadvantage, we think it is useful to use artificial intelligence approaches that focuses on the uncertainty (risks) and the possible relationships between these risks.

Improved resilience of metro vehicle design to blast and fire events 改进地铁车辆设计对爆炸和火灾事件的弹性

In the framework of the European FP7 SECUREMETRO project, the authors have studied the occurrences of terrorist attacks against metro trains with the goal to reduce the number of attacks by making transport systems a less attractive target. In addition to the counter-measures already implemented to increase the resilience to terrorism, the SECUREMETRO project adds another layer of countermeasures aimed at mitigating the effects of an attack to the vehicles, should the others fail to prevent it. This work takes into account the identified common attack methodologies and the behavior of the surviving passengers in order to improve the situation management, assist the evacuation of and rescue to survivors. Moreover, technological improvements to the structure and critical systems of the vehicle have been devised and tested in real situation. This paper focuses particularly on the behavior of people in blast situation, and presents the conclusions of the project on these effects and the related design improvements.
