Review of Remote Audit in Occupational Safety and Health Management System through the Mixed-Reality Spectrum 基于混合现实光谱的职业安全健康管理系统远程审核综述

The Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) is a collection of interconnected or interacting elements that work together to define and implement Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies and objectives. Employers must guarantee that this system is effectively implemented to safeguard employees from hazards in order to attain those goals and eliminating work-related injuries, illnesses, diseases, incidents and deaths by using the guideline given by the International Labor Organization (ILO) as well as the Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) of Malaysia. Auditing is among the vital process in analyzing the performance of OSHMS. The audit process is part of the evaluation element, as described by ILO where the auditor needs to evaluate the OSH performance. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the traditional audit could not be conducted, thus the remote audit is considered to be a viable option to ensure the audit process continues. Therefore, this paper intends to understand how the OSHMS especially in the university context can be remotely audited using Mixed Reality (MR) applications through a review of the literature. The findings indicate appropriate contexts of discussion for the study and also identified MR technology namely the 360-degree panoramic view technology that could be further studiedThe paper's contribution is a better knowledge of the OSHMS remote audit process through the usage of MR applications in a specialized setting. The findings of this study would be beneficial to the stakeholders in the relevant context particularly in the university in their investment decision-making for a future-ready ecosystem by digitising their enterprises.

Typology of Big Data Analytics Capabilities in Malaysian Manufacturing Firms 马来西亚制造企业的大数据分析能力类型

Firms' big data analytics capabilities (BDAC) are vital for firms to be more successful than their competitors over a long period. Although much literature has proven the relationship between BDAC and firms' competitiveness, there is a limited discussion on the precise degree to which sort of BDAC profiles are flawless. This paper segregates BDAC profiles for Malaysian manufacturing firms into three clusters which are low, medium and high performers in the level of leveraging BDAC. This paper aims to answer two research questions: 1) are there three clusters of firms in exercising BDAC? and 2) would the firm with a high level of BDAC accomplish better firm performance? An analysis of variance (ANOVA) demonstrates that these three clusters differ significantly in achieving firm performance. The finding recommends that manufacturers with exercising a high level of BDAC resources were probably outperforming other competitors to achieve greater firm performance. The implications of the study to academicians, policymakers and industry players have been discussed in this article and followed by, the research limitations, as well as recommendations for future study and conclusion, have been elaborated in the last session.

Recycling and Reuse of Study Materials Among Students in a Malaysian Private University: A Circular Economy Perspective 马来西亚一所私立大学学生学习材料的回收和再利用:循环经济的视角

The idea of circular economy is to sustain the environment by reusing existing materials if it maintains the materials hold its value. The concept of circular economy has gained tractions among business organizations but seldomly studied in the context of institute of higher learning. The concept of 3R (Reuse, Reduce and Recycle) are in line with the principal of circular economy. At universities, students dispose their study materials such as notes, textbooks, coursework materials and others in various ways every semester. Burning lecture notes, throw it away in trash bins or giving it away to their juniors are some of the common ways. Students are aware of the importance of recycle and reuse their study materials but their actions on recycle and reuse is still lacking. This study attempts to identify the student's perception and challenges on adopting a circular economy approach on printed study materials such as lecture notes, quizzes, tests, and others. A survey had been distributed to students from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS to seek their perception and behavior towards recycling and reusing of study materials. Based on the findings from the survey, the design of a mobile application, called EcoCycle, that facilitates the recycling and reusing activities is proposed. The findings indicated that less than half of the respondent dispose their study materials in the recycling bin and a slightly more than half of the respondent give their study materials to their friends. The existing 3R efforts are done without the assistance of technology and majority of the respondents agree that technology plays an important role in reusing, reducing, and recycling study materials.

A Review: Penetration Testing Approaches on Content Management System (CMS) 内容管理系统(CMS)渗透测试方法综述

These days, Content Management Systems (CMS) have been the target for adversaries in the cyber world since they are mostly open-source like Drupal, Joomla and WordPress, where no experts want to address the vulnerabilities due to them having no price tags. This paper aims to review the available and proposed penetration testing approaches and tools used on content management systems (CMS) and tabulate the results in a review matrix. There are 22 articles found regarding the proposed approaches and tools where some of which use machine learning (ML) algorithms. The matrix is categorized based on whether those approaches involve the use of machine learning algorithms or they involve other approaches like using basic penetration tools like Sqlmap and Metasploit to perform basic penetration tests like SQL Injection or Cross-site scripting (XSS). The penetration testing algorithms are further categorized on whether they are reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms or normal algorithms. Some of the approaches are later discussed in the third section of the paper, where they are categorized into penetration testing approaches that use reinforcement learning, the usage of basic penetration testing tools and the other proposed penetration testing tools.

Classification of Learner Retention using Machine Learning Approaches 使用机器学习方法的学习者保留率分类

Learner retention issues require a huge commitment from a university as the process of monitoring learners' re-registration status from the beginning of each semester until they graduate can be quite tedious. When the number of learners who re-register for a subsequent semester is low, it not only affects the university's image but also its ranking and reputation in the education sector. Therefore, the university must identify, at an early stage, the likelihood of a learner is not retained in the following semester. This study proposed to experiment with the classification methods for solving the issue of learner retention at Open University Malaysia by comparing three Supervised Machine Learning algorithms namely Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, and k-Nearest Neighbor. The performance of these algorithms was evaluated based on accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure. It is determined that Support Vector Machine showed the best accuracy in classifying the learners' retention rate with 80% accuracy. The benefit of performing Machine Learning is that it enables the identification of at-risk learners at the earliest opportunity and therefore implement the earliest interventions to retain them.

The Impact of Live Video Streaming on Chinese Consumers' Product Preference: A Construal Level Perspective 视频直播对中国消费者产品偏好的影响:一个解释层次的视角

In recent years, live streaming video has become increasingly crucial to the success of retail enterprises in a competitive online business environment. Consumers can purchase any products or services through Live video streaming. However, Limited empirical research has been conducted on the filed of live video streaming and consumer product preference. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between domestic brand products, foreign global brand products, and its influences on Chinese consumers' product preference through Live video streaming based on the theory of construal level and psychological distance. Online questionnaires were distributed in China using the purposive sampling technique. Respondents were selected, and they are Live video streaming users with online purchase experiences in China. Data were collected from 166 respondents and were analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results show that audiences of live video streaming will feel psychologically closer and form concrete low-level mental construals. Moreover, live video streaming causes consumers to interact more with streamers and activate a concrete way of thinking, thereby generating preferences for domestic products. Finally, this article discusses the practical and managerial implications of our findings.

Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between domestic brand products, foreign global brand products, and its influences on Chinese consumers' product preference through Live video streaming based on the theory of construal level and psychological distance. Online questionnaires were distributed in China using the purposive sampling technique. Respondents were selected, and they are Live video streaming users with online purchase experiences in China. Data were collected from 166 respondents and were analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results show that audiences of live video streaming will feel psychologically closer and form concrete low-level mental construals. Moreover, live video streaming causes consumers to interact more with streamers and activate a concrete way of thinking, thereby generating preferences for domestic products. Pandemic COVID-19 has changed the business landscape dramatically. Many large business and corporate sectors are able to adapt to the change but the micro-entrepreneurs continue their struggling to adapt to the change. Due to the movement restrictions while battling with COVID-19, businesses are forced to switch from conventional brick-and-mortar business to digital business application involving developing their own e-commerce sites. The emerging social media in society provides opportunity for the micro-enterprises to virtually engage with their customers. The social media has now become one of the important business tools for marketing, branding, networking and developing the business strategy. Despite of the active social media involvement among the micro-entrepreneurs, the outcome of the social media activities is still at its infancy. Micro-entrepreneurs especially the Bumiputeras have still not fully utilized the social media as their business tool. Micro-entrepreneurs lack the knowledge on how to interpret the social media platform analysis tools such as site traffic, post engagement, post impressions and others. Therefore, it is necessary to further study of degree social media adoption among the Bumiputera micro-entrepreneurs and how it affects the business performance. A quantitative method is proposed for this study by considering the existing UTAUT variables like performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions. This paper proposes a conceptual research model based on the underpinning theory and aim to measure the outcome from adoption of social media on Bumiputera micro-entrepreneurs' business performance.

This study proposes to determine the relationship between the constructs of UTAUT model and behavioral intention to use HRIS among middle-level employees at a retail company. The four constructs of UTAUT model consist of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions. The amount of 92 samples were selected from 120 middle-level employees with convenience sampling technique. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data from the total of 92 respondents. Descriptive analysis was performed to examine the demographic details of respondents as well as the level of variables in this study. Pearson correlation was applied to determine the relationship between the constructs of UTAUT model and behavioral intention to use HRIS among employees. The research findings indicated that the level of UTAUT model constructs and behavioral intention to use HRIS among middle-level employees were high. Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant and positive moderate relationship between constructs of UTAUT model and behavioral intention to use HRIS among middle-level employees.

Consumers in Malaysia are increasingly connected to digital world to fulfill their lifestyle and workstyle. This study focuses on improvement of home Wi-Fi experience for Unifi subscribers in Johor. Three objectives outlined for this study include to investigate current customer experience while using home Wi-Fi services, to identify and implement the appropriate interventions and to evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions to customers' satisfaction level and improve the customer experience. In this study, we propose to utilize a cross-sectional case study design with both qualitative and quantitative methods. Two online surveys involving respondents among Unifi subscribers in Johor will be conducted to gather the subscribers' feedback before and after implementation of the interventions. The collected data will be analyzed to understand the satisfaction level during pre-implementation and post-implementation of the interventions. Complementing the data gathered from subscribers, this study will also involve interviews with industry experts within the service provider organization. Intervention stage will see the implementation of the strategies and will be carefully observed and monitored. This study will benefit the ISP in establishing better understanding on factors leading to low satisfaction level of home Wi-Fi services' subscribers and assist the ISP to identify suitable ways to improve customer experience. The outcome from the study can also be utilized by ISP as input parameters to be considered in future design and development of product and service that will help in offering better customer experience.

Industry Revolution 4.0 has brought the biggest impact, challenges and opportunities to firms. The firms are urged to adopt cloud computing, big data analytics (BDA) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to serve their customers effectively and remain competitive in the market. BDA has turned out to be the most significant topic in the practical and academic fields due to the mode of globalization give rise to a large quantity of data that is generated in the global business. However, the study of big data analytics capability (BDAC) in Malaysia is even so scarce. Therefore, many Malaysian firms do not know how to start leveraging data and technology to improve their business. This study thus analyzes the role of data and technology in promoting BDAC among Malaysian firms with the underpinning of Resource-Based View (RBV) theory. A quantitative study with systematic sampling was carried out by using a self-administered survey to collect the data in Malaysia. The findings indicated that amongst the eight dimensions of data and technology variables, the respondents showed a greater appreciation for the data variable, as the majority of the respondents agreed on all of the relevant measurement items for this dimension. The implications of the study to both policymakers and market practitioners have been discussed in this article, and lastly, the known limitations of the research limitations, as well as recommendations for future study have been detailed.
