Emotional intelligence and leadership: A study on the employees of IT sector in Noida, India 情商与领导力:对印度诺伊达IT行业员工的研究

Leadership is an emotion intense function, the ability to understand and connect with the emotions of the team can set the right tone for organizational performance. This research paper is a descriptive study which investigates the impact of the four components of Emotional Intelligence: Self-awareness, Self-management, Social awareness and Relationship management on the Leadership potential. It is a qualitative as well as quantitative study wherein 30 people at different Leadership positions in various IT companies located in Noida region were interviewed and quantitative data was collected from 177 employees working in different IT companies of the same region. The research results show there is an impact of some factors of Emotional intelligence and Leadership potential. The qualitative study enabled the identification of other factors that contribute to Leadership potential along with EI. This research further paves the way for more studies with a different geographical location and a different industry.

Using AHP model to evaluate factor influencing mobile banking usage in Indian banks 运用AHP模型评价影响印度银行手机银行使用的因素

The aim of this work is to develop Analytical Hierarch Model (AHP Model) in identifying the most influencing factor in mobile banking that influences the mobile banking users. The factors are identified through a systematic literature review and data is collected from experts in the banking industry with prior experience in Mobile Banking. Collected data is analyzed through the AHP model where pairwise comparison is done to distribute weights to different factors. An Excel template by Business Performance Management Singapore was utilized to calculate the weights. Through the study, it was found that security-related factors are the most influential factor in mobile banking usage (with weight 0.308). In the Sub criteria, Security, Ease of use, Perceived usefulness, and perceived efficiency were given the highest priority.

Optimization of multi-echelon reverse supply chain network using genetic algorithm 多级逆向供应链网络的遗传算法优化

Remanufacturing products has been more popular in recent years among businesses as a result of environmental concerns, and the close loop supply chain (CLSC) network has been used to optimise the reverse logistic system. The objective of the current study is to identify the ideal CLSC network, which consists of several producers, remanufacturers, intermediary centres, and customer centres. The consideration of a multi-product, multi-echelon, closed loop supply chain network (CLSC) model for returns products, in which choices about the procurement of materials and their production, distribution, recycling, and disposal play a significant part, is necessary to meet the work’s objectives. In order to resolve the issue more cheaply, a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) approach is used. Genetic algorithm (GA) is applied as a solution approach in this.

Embedding inclusion in cultivating positive organizational culture 在培养积极的组织文化中嵌入包容

In present research an attempt has been made to find out how inclusion can cultivate positive organizational culture. The study identified inclusion as independent variable, having sub variables as diversity, values, beliefs, sense of belongingness, and competitive advantage and organizational culture was considered as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to examine how diversity, values, beliefs, sense of belongingness and competitive advantage impact organizational culture. The study utilized both primary and secondary sources for conducting research. For the primary source, a questionnaire with 30 questions was administered to 200 employees in the IT sector. Out of 200 only 122 were found to be valid. The data was analyzed using statistical software SPSS. The findings showed that positive Organizational Culture was significantly affected by Diversity, Values and Sense of Belongingness, while Beliefs and Competitive Advantage did not have a significant impact on Organizational Culture. The variable, Values (VV) had the most significant impact (β = 0.337, p < 0.05), followed by Diversity (DD) (β = 0.299, p < 0.05), and Sense of belongingness (SB) (β = 0.261, p < 0.05) also made a notable contribution. The F value (186.992) indicated that the model was suitable. The study suggests that beliefs and competitive advantage may not have a significant impact on creating a positive organizational culture, but Diversity, Values and Sense of Belongingness have a significant impact on Positive. Organizational Culture in the IT sector. The findings have theoretical and managerial implications as the organizations must create and promote a positive, diverse, and inclusive workplace culture for the wellbeing of the employees.

Lensing to employee attrition rate and internal movement in an organization: Application and intervention through Markov chain 对员工流失率和组织内部流动的影响:基于马尔可夫链的应用与干预

The objective of the paper is to apply Absorbing Markov chain model in the study of employees’ attrition rate of an organisation over a discrete time interval. This requires transition probability matrix to be stochastic and Markov network to have at least one ‘absorbing state’. The paper addresses this problem by associating the employees leaving the organisation with a state, hereafter called ‘ exit state’, which is ascribed to ‘the absorbing state’. The physical interpretation of the probabilistic characteristic of an absorbing state logically relates it to a ‘void’ . The state of ‘void’ has no resource / element in the initial state of the system, and, in the final state, any resource/ element transitioned to this state becomes irretrievable, hence non-contributory to the organisation for all practical purpose. This concept supports the construction of stochastic matrix of Markov analysis. The dynamics of free markets and prevalent meaning of freedom- freedom from fear, freedom from scarcity and freedom from harsh subordination, as perceived by the present-day digital generation, are the reasons behind their good intention to exercise freedom of choosing and changing organisations. It is, therefore, a matter of concern for corporate leadership to ponder over how to retain talented personnel and keep watch over changing trends of employees quitting the organisations. The present paper demonstrates the successful application of our conceptual model by a case study of employees’ attrition rate of an MNC operating in India, discusses the causes of high attrition rate and provides suggestions to leadership for win-win interaction with the employees.

The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically accelerated the growth of Online retail shopping platforms. Moreover, it has introduced the concept of social media marketing and the emergence of Social Media Influencers. This study is based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response model of decision-making by Hebb 1950s. The study will analyse the impact of factors arising through content posted by SMIs and their influence on consumers’ buying decisions. The study will use Smart PLS to perform factor analysis and assess the relationship between measured variables and latent variables using Structural Equation Modelling.

Digital solutions and interventions in agriculture value chain and their measurable effectiveness 农业价值链中的数字化解决方案和干预措施及其可衡量的有效性

The effect of digitalization on corporate execution is restricted in view of the low degree of digitalization. The chain management link has improved performance significantly, reduced costs, and increased efficiency. Farm production processes, risk management, market trends, and strategic decision-making capabilities can all be improved with the knowledge and insights gleaned from an ever-increasing volume of digital data. On the other hand, advanced data analytics has the capability of reshaping the agricultural value chain as a whole. The relationships between technology and input suppliers, farmers, traders, processing units, retailers, and consumers may fundamentally shift as a result of digitization. Through the creation of a scientific model, this digitalization strategy investigates a variety of advancements, patterns, and strategies to improve farming efficiency in the computerized age. This paper aims to discuss the most significant opportunities and challenges presented by digitization processes for the rice production in northern India and south India. Predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things are widely regarded as promising new tools for ensuring a more sustainable resource use and increasing the agriculture-food industry’s competitiveness and productivity. The introduction to this paper discusses several significant digital technologies, including Internet of Things. This paper also examines how computerized change can boost corporate execution & increase esteem creation. The research also evolved as digital transformation progressed. This paper presents a sensor-based strategy for the rice crops in India’s north and south. To calculate the requirements for nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, temperature, and humidity for rice crop agriculture in north and south India, an algorithm is proposed which uses approximately 2201 datasets. It makes it possible for farmers to cultivate a wide range of rice crops in their fields with minimal effort.

Farm production processes, risk management, market trends, and strategic decision-making capabilities can all be improved with the knowledge and insights gleaned from an ever-increasing volume of digital data. On the other hand, advanced data analytics has the capability of reshaping the agricultural value chain as a whole. The relationships between technology and input suppliers, farmers, traders, processing units, retailers, and consumers may fundamentally shift as a result of digitization. Through the creation of a scientific model, this digitalization strategy investigates a variety of advancements, patterns, and strategies to improve farming efficiency in the computerized age. This paper aims to discuss the most significant opportunities and challenges presented by digitization processes for the rice production in northern India and south India. Predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things are widely regarded as promising new tools for ensuring a more sustainable resource use and increasing the agriculture-food industry’s competitiveness and productivity. The introduction to this paper discusses several significant digital technologies, including Internet of Things. This paper also examines how computerized change can boost corporate execution &amp; increase esteem creation. The research also evolved as digital transformation progressed. This paper presents a sensor-based strategy for the rice crops in India’s north and south. To calculate the requirements for nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, temperature, and humidity for rice crop agriculture in north and south India, an algorithm is proposed which uses approximately 2201 datasets. Smell of silence - Psychological contract breach as a mediator between workplace bullying and employee silence 沉默的气味——心理契约违约在职场欺凌和员工沉默之间的中介作用

This research aims to investigate the association between workplace bullying and employee silence along with the mediating effect of psychological contract breach (PCB). Three types of silence – acquiescent, defensive and pro-social have been taken into consideration. The data for this research was collected from 430 respondents from various services sector of India. The result shows that workplace bullying significantly impacts employee silence while psychological contract breach partially mediates the association between bullying and silence at workplace. This research is one of the few studies especially in Asian countries where the three factors, bullying, PCB and silence have been taken for study. This study also becomes crucial as different dimensions of silence have been considered rather than taking employee silence as a whole. This research work could be an alarm bell for organizations where mistreatments like bullying is rampant and silence among employees is observed.

Status of implementation of a women empowerment government scheme in rural India: A case study 印度农村妇女赋权政府计划的执行情况:案例研究

India is a country where several Goddesses are worshipped, and women have been respected since ancient times. For overcoming this gender-based discrimination and suffering and for empowering a girl child, the Government of India, introduced various schemes. ‘Save Girl Child, Educate Girl Child’, introduced in 2015, is one such scheme. The paper intends to find the awareness levels, issues, and hurdles in the implementation process of this scheme; and takes a few villages of U.P., India as case study. The methodology involves both- quantitative and qualitative analysis. The findings could be helpful in making future strategies for the success of the scheme for rural women empowerment.
