Managing the smart workforce and need for non-traditional leadership styles: Literature review from the perspective of practitioner 管理聪明的劳动力和非传统领导风格的需要:从从业者的角度文献综述

Leadership is simpler than actually executed or operationalized in actual organizational settings. Despite leadership theories, frameworks and conceptual approaches, the organizational failure rate is still the high. This certainly points to growing reality that something needs to be reviewed. The concurrence of failures strictly points to the reality that all is not well. Leadership and organizational resilience nexus are age old and needs serious review. The research hence addresses the diverse notions of leadership-organizational failure nexus and presents discussion regarding the possible tools of leadership and explores the leadership styles as fueling real organizational potential for effective organizational performance. The research deduced that selective styles seem more relevant in view of timely realization of business goals and objectives.

Framework to assess Conference Outcome Assessment Tool (COAT) in educational institutions 评估教育机构会议成果评估工具(COAT)的框架

The Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) Policy of India focuses to accelerate collaborative and interconnection translational research between the different stakeholders which enables addressing complex topics. To reach that level, conferences play an important role in the debate and exposure of these complex issues. HEIs spend lots of funds on organizing these conferences. However, the desired outcome assessment for sustainable impact is always lacking. The conference reports or proceedings ignore significant attributes of the stakeholders/ participants such as behavioural skills and motivational aspects such as attitude and ambition behind their participation in the conference. The objective of this paper is to identify parameters for conference outcome mapping and assessment which is useful to ascertain the translation of the discussions and presentations during conference in the prospects – career, research, outreach, etc., not only for participants but also for the organizing institutions. The Authors have developed the Conference Outcome Assessment Tool – COAT© to bring out the culture of Outcome and Quality enhancement in all aspects of research activities in HEIs with qualitative and quantitative assessments of their performance. To develop the Tool, the authors have identified various factors having a direct/indirect impact on all stakeholders throughout the conference. The Implementation of COAT© in HEIs will contribute to maintaining the overall research quality and provide the expected outcomes to researchers/scholars/scientists/industry. This will also boost the collaborations between academia and industry.

Securing healthcare data management using machine learning and blockchain technology: A comparative performance evaluation of support vector machine and conventional classifiers 使用机器学习和区块链技术保护医疗保健数据管理:支持向量机和传统分类器的比较性能评估

As access to healthcare has become more central to people’s daily lives, the amount of medical big data has grown exponentially. Wearable Internet of Things (IoT)-reliant technology is gaining popularity in the medical field as a means to improve patient care and reduce wait times. In recent years, billions of sensors, devices, and machines have been hooked up to the web. One such technology, remote patient monitoring, is increasingly used in modern patient care and treatment. In addition, these developments pose substantial security issues about the recording of transaction data and the transmission of information itself, and pose considerable dangers to users’ privacy. Concerns about the privacy of a patient’s medical records have the ability to discontinue treatment, putting the patient’s life in threat. Thus, a system is proposed using machine learning in combination with blockchain technology to allow secure management as well as analysis of large amounts of healthcare data. With the help of machine learning, it is feasible to sort through all of the data and extract out only the most pertinent information. This is accomplished with the help of trained methodologies. After this data has been saved, the next issue will be the exchange of data and ensuring its trustworthiness. The concept of blockchain is introduced at this point. The Blockchain technology relies on consensus to ensure that all data is accurate and that all transactions are conducted in a safe manner. The management of healthcare is one area where blockchain technology offers the ability to have a huge impact by placing patients at the center of the system and improving the privacy and portability of health records. This study is primarily concerned with finding solutions to issues relating to the administration of healthcare data by utilizing Blockchain technology and incorporating some crucial characteristics developed with Machine Learning. The performance evaluation of proposed Support Vector Machine is compared with the other conventional machine learning classifiers. It is observed from the experimental finding that performance accuracy of Support vector machine is 98% which is better as compared to other traditional machine learning classifiers.

The selection of providers with sustainability considerations is the most significant activity in contemporary supply chain operations. Using the MCDM (Multi-Criteria Decision Making) technique, vendors are chosen. By choosing the right sustainable supplier, the organizations can upgrade their products, decrease costs, and satisfying customers’ requirements. Dodla dairy is a renowned name in dairy companies in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh where purchasing managers choose the farmers. The purchasing managers gave their references so that the weights of the identified criterion and the ranking of another possibility on the basis of each criterion are to be determined. Quality and cost of the products are the most prominent criterion in the dairy supply chain. The method called Fuzzy TOPSIS is utilized in this paper to choose the dairy suppliers. The major goal of employing fuzzy logic is to assist purchasing managers in deciding how much importance to give each criterion and how to rank each sustainable dealer. The outcome of the Fuzzy TOPSIS technique, which has been successfully applied, establishes the weights of the criterion and the best and worst sustainable suppliers.

Operation & Maintenance Manuals have generally covered Technical Literatures about the Machine and either are stored in Hard Copies in Customer office / site archives or stored in Computers in soft forms. After a long period generally, the accessibility of these documents becomes difficult due to change of site persons/change of office/hard disk crash, etc. which increase the difficulty of retrieval of these documents & increase the machine idle time & customer dissatisfaction. The subject article covers aspects of the Implementation of Latest Digitalization effort of converting the Operation & Maintenance Manuals of the Machines, Equipment, Skids, etc. into QR Code and to installed these QR codes near equipment at site, Control Room / Site administration building for ease of accessibility & retrieval of the O&M while scanning the same from mobile. This shall help to achieve the objective of customer satisfaction / site person satisfactions and to increase the efficiency of the machine & reducing the machine idle time.

Abstract We consider an -act is a Gamma act over a γ-monoid with zero and is the -endomorphism of . A Gamma Act (S-set, operand, S-action, S-system) theory was introduced in 2016. And the concept of prime gamma subcat was introduced in 2016. And also this concept had been studied on Act theory. We introduced -Prime gamma subacts as a proper weakness of prime gamma subacts. We have given several equivalents to this concept and examples. We have found conditions to satisfy some properties of -Prime Gamma subacts.

Abstract Since the data about this phenomenon is binary, meaning the presence or absence of an event, so it applied the binary logistic regression model for the binary response variable in which the dependent variable is either equal to one for the occurrence of the event or zero for the absence of the event. The research aims to use this model to obtain the most important factors affecting cancerous tumors. The study included cancerous tumor data from the Ministry of Health and the Tumor Teaching Hospital, The statistical program (SPSS). The conclusions showed that the logistic regression model is suitable for testing the data and does not suffer from the problem of multilinearity. Modeling and prediction using an artificial neural network to study the impact of foreign direct investment on the growth rate / a case study of the State of Qatar 利用人工神经网络建模和预测研究外国直接投资对增长率的影响/以卡塔尔国为例

Abstract This study came as an attempt to predict the foreign direct investment of the State of Qatar, depending on the model of artificial neural networks and the comparison between its models, because this type of model takes into account the non-linear and stochastic characteristics that characterize the financial and economic chains in general. A multi-layer artificial neural network was built consisting of three layers (the input layer, the hidden layer, the output layer), and the number of training passes was installed 999 times, and the network learning rate was 0.6 and the activation function used is the SIGMOID function using the back propagation algorithm. The MLP (4-10-1) model gave accurate results that are close to the actual values, and it also gave the lowest values for the error measurement criteria represented in the MAE, RMSE and MAPE standards. This reflects the strength of the predicted model, which is consistent with the results of most studies that have been conducted on the subject, both Arab and foreign. It turned out that the feed-forward artificial neural network model is superior to other network models, as the outputs of the hidden layer are inputs for the time following the next time, which can be relied upon as an appropriate method for future prediction of the GDP of the State of Qatar. Also, the forecast values are positive for the period (2020-2040), which encourages increased investor attraction and market recovery in subsequent periods.

Abstract In today’s age, Stock Market is considered to be one of the most thrilling and challenging financial activities. Due to globalization, it can easily be said that the fluctuations seen in the stock market are the result of the flow of information. In order to get this information, one way is to get the stock prices of another market across the globe. With the advancement in global trades and interdependency of various markets, it can easily be concluded that there would be a great degree of interrelation between the national market and the global. This understanding of inter relation between national and global markets plays an important role in pricing, forecasting, and equivocation activities. In order to predict the Indian market the information is gathered overnight in other stock markets such as NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), LSE (London Stock Exchange), and All ordinates. (Australian all Ordinaries) can be taken into consideration. The opening value of the Indian market can be predicted considering the closing values of mentioned stock markets. The proposed work empirically investigates how Indian National Stock Exchange (NSE) gets affected by other global stock markets. The proposed work does a comprehensive analysis in order to understand the co-movement and exchange of information from NYSE, LSE, and All Ordinates to the NSE. We found a strong correlation between these stock markets during our study period and we can easily conclude that using this correlation we can predict the value of NSE based on the index of other stock markets i.e. NYSE, LSE, and All ordinates.

Abstract Some conflicting needs for use of cash have been utilized thoroughly in recent times indicating retail transaction is steadily increasing to an ample extent. The study is regarding understanding some important aspects of the e payment system for proceeding with the best result. Customer attitude towards the e-payment and generation of the trust regarding this has been equally portrayed throughout this study to understand the precautionary demand. Now in recent times, precautionary demand of the customers has been generated as the first priority for an owner which is also essential in the generation of integrity in the cashless economy. Moreover, this study also discusses the concept of the cashless economy that is beneficial in this scenario for understanding the in-depth view and concept. The study sheds light on the concept of e payment online banking and its impact on the purchasing behavior of the customers. The purchasing behavior of the customers refers to the intentions and beliefs of the customers that make them want to buy something. The process of e-payment is an easy and simple procedure of transactions that highly influences the buying behavior of consumers. The researcher has used the primary quantitative method and secondary quantitative method in order to evaluate the impacts of the e payment process on consumer behavior. Thereafter SPSS software was used by the researcher to test the data and analyze them accurately.
