This study is on Strategic Enhancement of Public Libraries Functionality in Delta State, Nigeria: The Role of Stakeholders. Descriptive research was used for the study. The population for the study was 229. However, the 28 Librarians manning the outreaches (public libraries) and their Assistants (28) as well as 44 non-professionals were purposively used as the sample size (100). The data collection instrument, the questionnaire had three clusters with statements on a 4-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using frequency counts and Mean scores statistics. The study revealed that challenges hampering the functionality of public libraries include inadequate funding, insufficient qualified librarians, poor infrastructure, poor remuneration and inadequate public relation (PR) by libraries in that other; that the ways to enhance public libraries in Delta State and make them more functional include government provision of adequate funds, proper formulation of public library policies, employment of professional librarians to man the various sections of the library, and frequent organization of exhibitions of   resources programme in public libraries; and serious stakeholders involvement in public library Management. This investigation more than before echoed on the need for government as the main stakeholder, to make serious effort in terms of supervising, appraising and implementing, the public library initiatives (as enshrined in the National Policy on Education).

Presents a bibliometric analysis of the literature in the discipline of Polio as listed the MEDLINE data which covered in the PubMed for the length 1990-2019.It is found that a total of 18956 records are within the MEDLINE database which covered by PubMed on ‘Polio ’. Maximum number of 1683 records was published during the year 2019, followed by 1672 records in the year 2017 and 1587 records in the year 2018. It became discovered that 76.54% of records are journal articles, followed by Review 12.49%, Editorial 2.60%, Letter 2.44%, Case Report 2.38%, News 2.22%,Comment 1.21%, Published Erratum 0.11%, and Published Retraction 0.01% are included in this look at. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) has been reducing from the year 1991 to 2019 but in a fluctuation trend. On the other hand, the Doubling Time (Dt) has shown an increasing trend, but it is also in a fluctuation of records throughout the examine period. A total of 240 journals were identified as core journals in the subject of Polio literature. The ratio of single and multiple authors publications is 1:6 found within the discipline of Polio literature. The meager percent i.e. 2.02% of records represent nameless authorship. The average Degree of Collaboration arrived at 0.86. It shows that multi-authored papers dominated within the field of Polio literature.

School libraries store the energy that enlightens and empowers the creative minds of students. As the COVID-19 outbreak has put up a bar on going outside, school libraries play a unique role in the process of providing students access to knowledge. In the present Internet era, students can visit a library without leaving home. Current research assesses how students utilize and perceive their school library to access knowledge. To examine the questionnaire survey was developed to collect data from 200 secondary school students in Mysore North block and an overall 194 questionnaires were received and the response rate was 97 percent. The findings of the study inferred that the intensification of the internet has helped students to access various educational resources for their academic and individual information improvement. Notable findings from the study offered insights into professional librarians to initiate library orientation programs to make students and teachers aware of the library resources and services in the knowledge society of the 21st century.
