This paper focuses on the implementation of a controller-based power factor correction (PFC) boost converter. Both CCM and DCM modes are operated in the mixed-conduction mode with fixed switching frequency. The load condition is determined by detecting the load current. The converter operates in CCM mode when the load is heavy. It switches to the DCM mode when the converter detects the load is light. The measured results show that the proposed dual-mode converter control strategy has good performance in power factor correction and power conversion efficiency.

With development of the constructed wetland technology and extending of eco-city concept, it is popular that the sustainable evaluation and land reclamation, and is difficult to quantitative assessment in wetland ecological information of subsidence area in mining field. This paper discusses the need of sustainable evaluation and land reclamation and mainly introduces the constructed wetland and ecological management system based on GIS of Tangshan city, which take the COMGIS model. There is a new plan of data organization, which includes spatial data, subsidence information and remote sensing image of the interested region. it is possible to build a visual spatially management platform of GIS for ecological evaluation and land reclamation by means of the combination of graphic data and attribute data, which is advanced platform for land reclamation of mining subsidence and ecological management of assessment and spatial analysis.

A thermal management model of a rear engine compartment was established with STAR-CCM+.The on-site temperature measurement data were used to calibrate the established model and to demonstrate the validity of the simulation results. Boundary conditions and parameters were then readjusted to match the worst working condition. Flow and temperature fields for this condition were obtained through simulation. Through analysis for airflow distribution in high temperature area, affecting factors and mechanisms on cooling capacity were identified and recommendations for improving compartment structure and layout were put forward.

Diesel engine works under mix combustion (constant volume and constant pressure) with low combustion rate and speed, resulting in its thermal efficiency is lower than the constant volume combustion type at the same compression rate. A diesel engine model with new type of crankshaft connecting rod mechanism which can stay in the TDC for a long time is developed to realize constant volume combustion. The kinematics and thermal simulation of the new engine is carried out by comparing with a 150 type diesel engine. The results indicated that the piston of the new engine could stay at the TDC for approximately 80 crank degrees which can prolong the combustion time at the same engine speed significantly.

In this paper, a double artificial neural network (ANN) algorithm has been established for calculating the Vapour Pressure of gasoline from the results of multidimensional gas chromatography analysis. Multidimensional resolution column was applied to obtain the results of the detailed hydrocarbon analysis of gasoline. The double ANN regression model has been established between the results of the detailed hydrocarbon analysis and the actually determined Vapour Pressure. When the method was applied to determine Vapour Pressure of export gasoline samples, the deviation of results was about 0.05 Psi (1 Psi=6.89KPa) compared with the standard method. The result of double ANN regression model was better than the result of partial least square (PLS) regression model. This method was easy to manipulate, and the modeling process was fast and easy to achieve. It was suitable for measuring the Vapour Pressure of the gasoline samples from the refinery and the export inspection.

On the basis of system safety engineering theory and fire science, a model of tunnel fire named Fuzzy Fault Tree Analysis (FFTA) Model has been built according to the uncertainty of tunnel fire and the subjectivity of traditional fire risk analysis method. Using triangular fuzzy theory, the fuzzy probabilities of basic events and top events based on experts cognition level. Then the relationship degrees of influence factors was compared by their fuzzy classifications. The result shows that fire sources and fuels are the main causes of tunnel fires, and the failure of fire extinguishing equipments is in the second place. In order to reduce the risk of tunnel fire, the factors of tunnel fire and their logical relationships should be analyzed comprehensively, the possibility of tunnel fire should be monitored dynamically, and fire protection strategies should be established, which is significant to the safe operation and sustainable development of transportation.

A physical expert system has been established for Hanfu Apple Industrial Science and Technology Service System, which provides wider and more convinent service for the users by taking advantage of the distribution features of network with multiple users.

The research status of magnetizing model of TA core is analyzed and summarized. Five kinds of magnetizing models are illustrated briefly. Magnetizing model of solid core based on Jiles-Atherton theory is deeply analyzed. And the simulation of dynamic hysteresis loop is realized. Combined with the related theoretical derivation of air gapped core, the magnetizing model based on Jiles-Atherton theory is successfully used in magnetic modeling of air gapped core. Then the simulation of dynamic hysteresis loop is realized. After analysis of the simulation results, some important features of air gapped core's magnetic properties are found.

Anti-adsorption control in hybrid maglev system with permanents and electromagnets was researched in this paper. The mathematical model of single-point suspension system was established, and proportional-integral-differential controller aimed to fixed-current suspension was designed firstly. In order to avoid hybrid magnet adsorbing the guideway, variation law of gap was used to estimate whether adsorption would occur in the future. The optimal negative current, which should be adopted when adsorption estimation was true, was calculated according to the formula of levitation force. This kind of anti-adsorption control method was applied in a practical hybrid maglev system, and its effect was proved based on appropriate area of state variables. The conclusion was drawn that suspension magnet was prevented from adsorbing guideway effectively under this control when suspension control system could work normally.

The time from emergency service facility to emergency place in emergency system optimization selected location question is uncertain. In this paper, the above problem is described and solved by using the connection number of the Set Fair Analysis theory. The order relation of connection numbers is defined by the sector number a ≥ b possibility. The model and the algorithm are proposed based on the connection number in emergency systems. An example illustrates that the algorithm is effective and feasible.
