Anti-adsorption control in hybrid maglev system with permanents and electromagnets was researched in this paper. The mathematical model of single-point suspension system was established, and proportional-integral-differential controller aimed to fixed-current suspension was designed firstly. In order to avoid hybrid magnet adsorbing the guideway, variation law of gap was used to estimate whether adsorption would occur in the future. The optimal negative current, which should be adopted when adsorption estimation was true, was calculated according to the formula of levitation force. This kind of anti-adsorption control method was applied in a practical hybrid maglev system, and its effect was proved based on appropriate area of state variables. The conclusion was drawn that suspension magnet was prevented from adsorbing guideway effectively under this control when suspension control system could work normally.

The time from emergency service facility to emergency place in emergency system optimization selected location question is uncertain. In this paper, the above problem is described and solved by using the connection number of the Set Fair Analysis theory. The order relation of connection numbers is defined by the sector number a ≥ b possibility. The model and the algorithm are proposed based on the connection number in emergency systems. An example illustrates that the algorithm is effective and feasible.

This paper presents control law, in the dynamics level, for the nonholonomic mobile robots. Lyapunov stable technique is used, for tracking a reference trajectory and stability. The presented control law can get system asymptotically stability. It has good position tracking performance.

The structure optimization design of vehicle twist beam rear axle was conducted in this paper on the basis of topology optimization and HyperWorks software. The perfect material topology was found through optimizing defined designing space and the accuracy of optimization results was tested through K&C performance analysis so that rear axles with lighter weight but better performance can be designed. In this way, the direct design of products can be realized. Therefore, this paper will have great significance and guidance on the tightweight design of other vehicle parts.

As Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (C4ISR) systems are used more widely in the Army, the training on it become more important. To provide a realistic Environment for training, we adopt the Simulation-based Training Support Environment (S-TSE) for promoting training with C4ISR systems. The development of Interoperability of S-TSE with C4ISR System is now beginning, due to the continued parallel evolution of the Models and Simulations (M&S) Architectures and the C4ISR Architectures, such as the High Level Architecture (HLA), the Common Database Environment (CDE) and the Common Software Operating Environment(CSOE). The C4ISR/S-TSE Interoperability Conceptual Reference Model is developed to identify all possible types of information that could be exchanged between C4ISR system and S-TSE. In order to fixing the “free text” problem and minimizing the translation, we develop the CDE&CSOE-based C4ISR/S-TSE Interface Standards, and provide a completely unambiguous interchangeable information representation, the C4ISRM&S Interoperability Language (CMIL), for C4ISR system and S-TSE.

The effect of injector position on the performance of a homogeneous gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine is studied by 3-dimensional multiphase simulation. The Reitz-Diwakar droplet break-up model and the 3 Zones Extended Coherent Flame Model (ECFM3Z) combustion model are adopted. Two different positions of injector are investigated. By comparing the velocity field, droplet distribution, atomization percent and the pressure, it was found that the position of the nozzles has great influence on the performance of the engine. Optimizing the position will increase the atomization and generate uniform mixed gas, which leads to better combustion.

The diagrams of damping valve with annular slice and hydro-pneumatic spring are given. According to the calculation method of the sectional linear speed characteristic, the damping coefficients and the resistance values at the valve open point and the maximal valve open point are deduced. Based on the principles of sheet deformation and aperture throttle, the function relation between flow and pressure difference in turbulent state is researched before and after the damping valve is open. After that, the system elastic force value is deduced by using equation of state of real gas. The correctness of the design method is validated by means of the comparison between performance test and simulation data. Eventually, the influence rules of different parameters of damping valve on the speed characteristic of hydro-pneumatic spring are analyzed so as to provide reference to the research on the internal characteristic of damping equipment.

The two-phase flow of air/oil mixture in the bearing chamber affects the operation stability of engines directly. Particular study of the two-phase flow in the chamber plays a vital role for improving the engine operation safety. Two-phase flow in bearing chamber is simulated numerically using VOF model. Surface tension between two phases has been added into the momentum equation as the source term. Based on the real condition, the wall adhesion is included in the model. The simulation results are in line with the existing experimental data so the feasibility of the computation method is proved. The interfaces between oil and air in a wide range of engine relevant conditions have been captured and the differences have been analyzed. The investigation also covered how the pressure in chamber and the volume ratios of scavenge oil and air are affected by the operating conditions of the engine.

Bench test was carried out by NTP devices and reactor based on dielectric barrier discharge principles. Experimental result indicated that NTP could decompose emissions in diesel exhaust effectively. When the engine load kept constant, the effect of NTP would be weaken. When the engine speed kept constant, the removal efficiency of PM and NOx would rise first and then drop, the emissions of THC and CO would increase while NTP used only. When DPF fixed at the upstream of NTP reactor, the purifying rate of THC and CO would be better.
