Embedded systems are widely used in different spheres of everyday life. Implementation of web server into these systems enable remote access to processed data. Web server implementation should be suitable for limited resources of these systems. In this paper, web server implementation in system for air parameter monitoring will be presented. This implementation is done using LwIP stack and enables remote access to measurement results within local network. Operation principle of web server and whole system will be discussed.

An electronic system for providing comfortable conditions in a room based on the Internet of Things has been developed, which measures temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure and illumination. The object of statistical evaluation is the relative humidity sensors, which are positioned inside the room and are thirty-two in number, to reserve and prevent the loss of data. The data for the relative humidity from the sensors are recorded twenty-four hours, every minute. Since the reading period is too long, the use of calibrated relative humidity meters is financially uneconomical. This necessitates the implementation of the algorithm of work of the developed electronic system of two statistical approaches to estimate the gross errors and the synchronicity of the readings between the available sensors at a specific point. Thus, if one of the sensors stops reading or if its readings differ significantly from those of the others, the sensor is ignored.

In this article the program for simulation of "PowerSim" was used. It built a simulation-dynamic model to measure the impact of natural disasters on people and migration levels. Three types of natural disasters were considered: hurricane, fire and earthquakes. The necessary constants for the operation of models have been identified, as well as models of the impact of various natural disasters on urban damage have been built. General models have been developed to illustrate the groups of factors influencing the destruction of the housing sector, including the population sector. For the ability to change results, constant switches were added to regulate earthquake severity, fire severity and hurricane strength. A graph has been constructed that can be used to visualize the number of destroyed houses from various natural disasters. The results were analyzed, on the basis of which four graphs were constructed: percentage of population growth, population, population, proportion of built-up land, in addition to graphs: table of calculation and emigration. In the course of the work, it was determined that the model was suitable for calculating the population size taking into account natural disasters.

Defining the required performance for any two axis gimbal system is an important and complex task. In order to define the system requirements, it is first necessary to define the system application. The basic structure of the system is presented and a performance analysis required for the two axis gimbal system in application in multisensory imaging system devices is given. The methods of verification of specified performances were discussed and a practical guide was given for the selection of the basic components of the system based on the defined required performances.

The article considers the problem of the influence of coal generation on the ecology of Krasnoyarsk. Coal-fired generation is one of the main sources of pollution of the city. The level of ecology reflects the quality and standard of living of the population. In the developed countries of the world, ecology is given a significant priority in solving many economic problems. The specifics of the fuel and energy balance are such that more than 90% of all energy consumption is carried out through the use of coal. When burning coal, a lot of harmful substances are released, which have a great impact on the ecology of the city. This paper presents possible solutions: 1) Raising the pipe of the combined heat and power plant (CHP); 2) Gasification of the Krasnoyarsk CHP. The issue of conducting gas in Krasnoyarsk is considered. The analysis of the above-mentioned solutions is also carried out. The calculation of the costs for lifting the pipe, as well as for gasification, was carried out. Comparative tables of "emissions from coal and gas" and "costs and efficiency between pipe lifting and gasification" are given. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that these solutions can be used.

Representing magnetic saturation in the AC synchronous machine models increases the accuracy of computer studies. Common approaches include considering the saturation along the d-axis only, along the qd axes separately, and along the main flux path. The last approach generally has a better consistency with the experimental results. This paper proposes a new saturable phase-domain (PD) synchronous machine model for the EMTP-type solution utilizing the single-saturation factor to represent the main flux saturation. The proposed PD model incorporates a piecewise-linear function for a numerically-efficient representation of the nonlinear saturation characteristic. Computer studies carried out in PSCAD demonstrate the effectiveness and high accuracy of the new proposed PD model with respect to other existing state-of-the-art saturable synchronous machine models.

The use of open data in education at all levels of education brings enormous advantages in easier acquisition and sharing of knowledge. Data available to everyone is of great importance in all spheres of society, and in the era of Industry 4.0, it immeasurably helps in making more informed decisions. In education, open educational resources can be used to connect people around the world and solve many real-world problems through innovation. This paper presents the basic concepts of open data, and the emphasis is on the importance of open data in education. Good practice examples are presented, as well as the challenges that open data entails. Also, the current situation in Serbia in terms of educational open data was analyzed, as well as suggestions for improvement.

Open data is a powerful resource for the development of the public finance sector, creating an open, transparent, and democratic society. By innovating in the technical field with the help of open data, the added value of services and products is created not only in the public but also in the private sector. The focus of the paper is on the public sector of finances, where with the help of open data a high degree of transparency is achieved, which is realized through cases of the use of open data. The paper provides an overview of good practices at the state levels of Estonia, Ireland, Slovenia and Serbia, with comments on the achieved results based on reports from world portals and organizations dealing with the development of open data initiatives in the public finance sector.

Due to the constant increase in the number of inhabitants in cities, the number of cars inevitably increases, which contributes to the creation of ever-increasing traffic jams. These traffic jams culminate at particular times of the day on specific road routes and junctions. One of the ways to regulate traffic at intersections is the use of traffic lights, and the operation of traffic lights for different traffic intensities is generally corrected by setting various modes of operation of traffic lights in which the duration of green and red lights change. This paper examines the possibility of applying an algorithm to optimize traffic light operation in real time based on the current traffic frequency measured by inductive traffic counting loops. The algorithm was tested on a simulator developed for this need based on real intersections in a city.

The quality of images is influenced by the distortion, brightness and contrast of the acquired images. Understanding the image’s histogram is probably the most important element when working with images. The histogram shows whether the exposure of the image is correct, whether light is hard or soft and what changes could be made to obtain a better image. Three algorithms have been studied for enhancing digital images’ contrast. All algorithms are applicable to color images as well. Results show that selecting appropriate numerical methods for image processing is a key factor in achieving the goals.
