Decarbonization of power systems represents the main tool of energy transition and sustainable development. Faced with many challenges, decarbonization of power systems needs the application of new technologies for production and energy storage, advanced optimization algorithms and artificial intelligence algorithms for system operation and control, as well as the utilization of all available balancing resources, especially at the distribution level by activating consumers and distributed resources. This paper gives an overview of the current state of decarbonization process in the world, including CO2 emission, electricity consumption rise, the rapid growth of electric vehicle sales and changes in power systems needed for their utilization.

The article is devoted to the study of ways of solving the problems connected with ensuring road traffic safety and preserving human health on public roads. The relevance of this study is connected with the intensive growth of the number of road transport, brings certain problems to the management of the road transport and road economy by the state apparatus. The authors highlighted, described and analyzed the characteristic features of the organization of road traffic in the country’s leading in road safety. Considerable attention is paid to practical experience in the application of existing accident reduction measures, which are effective and give the most positive trend in reducing the number of traffic violations, accidents, resulting in fewer casualties and fewer deaths. As a result of the study, a number of measures aimed at improving road safety that can be applied on the roads of the Russian Federation were identified and analyzed. A number of measures have been proposed to achieve significant indicators in a relatively short period of time to ensure the safety of pedestrian traffic.

The increase in the number of wind farms and their share in the total electrical energy generation leads to the need for a different approach to this source in cases where the stability of the power system is potentially impaired. With the development of different types of wind power plants, equipped with power electronics devices, there is the possibility of quick power management and injection, in conditions when it is needed, where a huge amount of accumulated kinetic energy can also be used. This paper presents the influence of a wind power plant equipped with a full-scale converter on the transient stability in cases of close and distant short circuits, during the outage of a heavily loaded line. Special attention was paid to the Rate of Change of Frequency (RoCoF) in the power system in cases with and without a wind farm where fast power injections were possible.

The contribution of renewable energy sources to the power system stability will have to be greater in the future. The problem will arise if the share of wind power plants in total production increases and large failures occur. Then, wind farms, which are often called inertia-less sources in the literature, will have to help maintain the frequency in a normal amount by changing the management method and based on fast PMU measurements. This can be done by using the synthetic inertia size, which is defined for sources that are derived from the system via energy converters and which do not participate in defining the total inertia of the system. This paper provides a better insight into the understanding of the concept of synthetic inertia, as well as insight into the current development of management and the application of synthetic inertia in maintaining the stability of the power system.

In this paper we are presenting a possibility of using ChatGPT for preparing environments for executing social engineering based attacks. Very soon after public launching, ChatGPT has shown excellent results in many different topics, answering some general or specific questions, generating code or preparing text templates of even texts on specific topics. Combining those possibilities and good preparedness of the system, it is possible to get everything that is needed for phishing or some other attack only in a few clicks and in a couple of minutes. This paper covers the scenario of creating phishing attack using ChatGPT, with an overview of social engineering attacks and their prevention in general.

This paper presents a performance comparison of the Type-2 hypervisor, using the VMware Workstation player, then the VirtualBox platform, and finally MS Hyper-V, as the virtualization role in Windows 10 Pro environment. The tests were performed under the same conditions and the same test method using HD Tune Pro tool. For the guest operating system, Windows 10 Pro was chosen as the basis for all testing phases. The performance of all three virtual platforms are compared for the cases with one, two and three virtual machines in operation. The tests were validated based on the results obtained using the benchmark program.

In research to determine the degree of interest in enrolling students in certain high schools, predictive analysis and comparison models are rarely used when classifying and processing different data. All this leads to large fluctuations in enrolment in secondary schools, where certain schools are unable to enrol numerous students who show an interest in a particular field. On the other hand, students lose interest in certain schools, which leads to the discontinuation of certain courses necessary for the needs of today's labour market. Institutions responsible for organizing the educational process do not sufficiently compare and connect teaching and non-teaching activities when analysing the talents and interests of elementary school students from different fields. The goal of this work is to predict the enrolment of students in secondary schools, using the classifiers of programming languages, based on the results that students express during regular classes in elementary schools. The results show that the accuracy of the data during the training of the Random Forest predictor is 52%, while in Wolfram Alpha it is 62%

This article considers the problem of the impact of the pandemic on medical personnel in the Russian Federation. During the pandemic, one of the most acute problems is the shortage of medical personnel. The study of the issue of shortage of medical personnel is relevant both for the whole world and for Russia. The authorities of several Russian regions at once, against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of coronavirus, announced an acute shortage of doctors and mid-level health workers. In Russia, first of all, there was a shortage of primary health care doctors - general practitioners, general practitioners, and pediatricians. Staffing problems were discussed even before the pandemic, but during the pandemic, the workload on the medical staff increased and existing specialists began to leave. This paper presents possible solutions. Such as increasing wages and attracting students to increase staff. The purpose of the study is to analyze the reasons for the lack of personnel, identify existing problems, and formulate recommendations for their elimination.

When students enroll at universities, various datasets can be available to managers and teachers. Clustering techniques can be applied in order to divide the instances within those datasets into natural groups. In this paper, one clustering-based approach combined with attribute selection methods for identifying specific input dataset variables meaningful for the disjunction of distinct students' profiles has been proposed. Also, an analysis of the descriptive students' model obtained by the proposed methodology is performed.

This paper describes the functionality and the results of the Threat Surveillance mini-project on computer vision. Its main objective is to create and offer the possibility of monitoring and detecting cold and fire weapons, while maintaining public safety. Created not only for military purposes but also for civilian ones, the project proposes a simple graphical user interface (GUI) which is aimed at maximum user convenience. The core of the functionality is however based on advanced commercial software belonging to artificial intelligence (AI), called Yolo - V7. It is an algorithm of real-time object detection. The GUI allows personalizing the application execution by choosing the targeted weapon category along with loading a photograph or video which contains the category to be detected/recognized. The weapon detection part provides possible bounding boxes where the desired weapons might be situated in the chosen media and classifies them according to the object classes previously created by training.
