Mechanics of polytetrafluoroethylene-based composites densification 聚四氟乙烯基复合材料致密化力学研究

In the study an assessment of specific friction forces occurring during the compaction of polytetrafluoroethylene workpieces in a mold was done, based on the analysis of axial and lateral pressures. In addition, an analysis of a compacted workpiece model was performed to predict the pressure distribution over its height. The pressure distributions at the bottom and walls of the mold were determined experimentally. The coincidence of theoretical and experimental values proves the validity of the used calculation formulae. The values of the specific friction forces and coefficients of external friction were determined on the basis of Coulomb’s and Siebel-Prandtl’s laws of friction.

Digital Content Creation as a Part of ESP Courses 数字内容创作作为ESP课程的一部分

The term "digital content creation" implies the creation of digital content in different textual and/or multimedia forms and formats and its distribution through the Internet. In current literature, it can be noticed that, within English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses, digital content (except Power Point presentations, often created by students) has been primarily used in the form of teaching tools for different aspects of language knowledge improvement, such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In terms of that, the goal of this paper is to demonstrate how the use of the creation of such content in the ESP teaching process, implying not only PowerPoint presentations, but also questionnaires, personal websites, blogs, video presentations, video tutorials and podcasts, can also be beneficial and contribute to various aspects of English language use, comprehension, and overall communication skills.

Accelerating Sorting on GPUs: A Scalable CUDA Quicksort Revision gpu加速排序:一个可扩展的CUDA快速排序修订

In this article, an upgraded version of CUDA-Quicksort - an iterative implementation of the quicksort algorithm suitable for highly parallel multicore graphics processors, is described and evaluated. Three key changes which lead to improved performance are proposed. The main goal was to provide an implementation with increased scalability with the size of data sets and number of cores with modern GPU architectures, which was successfully achieved. The proposed changes also lead to significant reduction in execution time. The execution times were measured on an NVIDIA graphics card, taking into account the possible distributions of the input data.

PEM Fuel Cell Modeling by Application of the Rough Sets Theory 基于粗糙集理论的PEM燃料电池建模

The conversion of various forms of energy into electricity has been known for decades. As a basis for qualitative analysis, the application of the method based on the Rough Sets Theory (RST) was chosen. The created model contains rules in the If... Then form, which describe the influence of the value of input parameters (attributes) on the output value (nafion_percent). One of the main parameters of the fuel cell is nafion_percent. The paper uses a dataset about Nafion 112 membrane standard tests and MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly) activation tests of PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells in various operation conditions. PEMFCs with optimal characteristics and a low failure rate are of great importance for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV).

Impact of the Tilt Angle on the Electrical Output, Characteristics and Performance of a Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System 倾斜角度对并网光伏系统输出、特性和性能的影响

As the demand for sustainable and renewable energy sources grows, the use photovoltaic (PV) systems have seen rise in popularity and recognition. The performance of PV systems is influenced by numerous factors such as solar irradiance, temperature, and the tilt angle of the PV modules. Among these factors, the tilt angle of the PV modules plays a crucial role in determining the amount of energy that can be generated by a PV system. This paper explores the impact of tilt angle on the output and performance of grid-connected PV systems by using the software PVsyst. The study will examine how different tilt angles affect the energy yield, electrical characteristics, and performance ratio of PV system. A study was conducted to compare the performance of a PV system with fixed tilt angle versus seasonal tilt arrangement. The results showed that a seasonal tilt arrangement led to improved performance and increased electricity generation.

In pursuit of appropriate private blockchain platform for higher education institutions 为高等教育机构寻求合适的私有区块链平台

Maintaining and establishing transparency, security and privacy, when the data that should be included as part of documents that should serve as public educational documents in the labor market, are a challenging task, especially nowadays when we have more frequent cyber-attacks on public institutions. Setting up the security mechanisms of information systems that should store, process and show this type of data can be a very demanding job. For this reason, the introduction of new technologies in this area, such as blockchain technology, leads to considerable system and implementation relief. In this paper, private blockchain platforms are analyzed from the point of view of processing digital certificates or diplomas in the higher education system. An overview of the most popular platforms of this type is given. The most appropriate solution for these needs are discussed and proposed.

Cloud Container Orchestration Architectures, Models and Methods: a Systematic Mapping Study 云容器编排体系结构、模型和方法:系统映射研究

In this study we explore and systematically review the latest research on container orchestration architectures, models and methods and their application in cloud environments. The aim of our systematic mapping study is to identify, classify the existing research papers and thus give organized knowledge of this evolving area. We tried to establish a systematic methodology that ensures the validity of our secondary study and construct a classification scheme that helps derive useful information from the existing body of research. We’ve gained insights about specific technology related issues like container orchestrators and container runtimes but also knowledge about more generalizable aspects like research strategies and approaches used in the primary studies. The results gave us insights about the current state and maturity of the research area and helped us identify research gaps. We were able to formulate recommendations for future research.

Predictive modelling and AI have become a ubiquitous part of many modern industries and provide promising opportunities for more accurate analysis, better decision-making, reducing risk and improving profitability. One of the most promising applications for these technologies is in the financial sector as these could be influential for fraud detection, credit risk, creditworthiness and payment analysis. By using machine learning algorithms for analysing larger datasets, financial institutions could identify patterns and anomalies that could indicate fraudulent activity, allowing them to take action in real-time and minimize losses. This paper aims to explore the application of predictive models for assessing customer worthiness, identify the benefits and risks involved with this approach and compare their results in order to provide insights into which model performs best in the given context.

Impact of Vulnerability Assesment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on Operating System Security 漏洞评估和渗透测试(VAPT)对操作系统安全性的影响

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) is an important component of an organization's overall security strategy. VAPT helps identify security vulnerabilities in a computer system, network, or web application, allowing organizations to take corrective measures to address these vulnerabilities and prevent potential security breaches. By conducting regular VAPT, organizations can improve their security posture and reduce the likelihood of successful attacks. In this paper Metasploit was used to show importance of regular vulnerability assessment of critical systems in order to discover vulnerabilities before attacker do it and exploit them. The authors showed Metasploit beside its usage to conduct a vulnerability assessment, it can be utilized by attackers to harm systems. VAPT is not a one-time event, but rather a ongoing process. As new vulnerabilities are discovered and new threats emerge, organizations need to regularly assess their systems to ensure they are protected.

Optimal Selection of Dispatchable Generators in the Microgrid 微电网可调度发电机的优化选择

Optimal selection of dispatchable generators in the microgrid is done by minimizing harmful gasses and particulate matter (PM) emissions, as well as electricity costs. Ranking of the microgrid’s energy sources is obtained by applying multicriteria optimization and the PROMETHEE method. The considered alternatives in this problem are: the gas internal combustion engine (ICE), the diesel ICE, the microturbine, the fuel cell and the gas turbine, whereas their attributes are: CO2, SO2, CO, NOX, HC and PM emissions, capital costs, fixed and variable operational & maintenance costs, and fuel costs. For the chosen data, the best result in ranking is obtained for the fuel cell. However, if just environmental criteria are considered, the gas turbine is the best ranked alternative.
