In this work, monthly and daily rainfall records of 1977-2008 for Gombe station and that of Tumu which covers the period of 19651997 as well as that of the other nine stations across the state were analyzed to describe changes in rainfall seasons, duration, number of rain days as well as the amounts of rainfall received per a given rainy season. It was observed from the data analyzed that there was delay in the starts and ends of rainy seasonin the northern parts of the study area of about 14 to 21 days. In the same vein, the numbers of rainy days as well as the amount of rainfall received in the two parts of the study area vary significantly when correlated. For example, rains lasted for about 36-59 days at Billiri station (lat 09 o 51 ́50 ̋) with 684.56mm mean annual rainfall in the southern Gombe, while Dukku(10 o 36 ́15 ̋) in the northern part showed 17-55 rainy days with 650.27mean annual within the same period. The average duration of the rainy season in the southern parts of the state (which is influenced by highland among other things) had 6-8 months, while that of the semi-Sahel area by the north was found to be only between 4-6 months. This also indicates that the duration of rainy season steadily decreases with increase in latitude. When the total rainfall was correlated with the number of rainfall days of all the stations using Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) environment; the results of the correlation coefficient indicated that there was correlation between the rainfall amounts and the number of rainfall days across all the stations in the study area. The correlation coefficients even though with varying degrees of freedom (Table 9 i.e. n-1) are as follows: Gombe 0.1506; Billiri 0.2559; Kumo 0.7053; Talasse 0.0372; Kaltungo 0.6189; Dukku 0.5122; Bajoga 0.6929; Nafada 0.3549; Deba 0.5281 and Tumu 0.1293. The results of the Student t-test is such that the Student’s ttest of the five stations out of the ten did not show significant relationships at 1% and 5% levels of confidence. These stations are Billiri,Deba, Gombe, Nafada, Talasse and Tumu. On the other hand, the remaining stations i.e. Bajoga, Dukku, Kaltungo and Kumo did show relationships. Hence, the study confirms that rainfall amounts vary over space and time.

In this paper it is argued that the notion of market-based corporate governance approach should be broadened to include the problem of owner-controlled firms and large block-holders and should be generalized to a model of multilateral negotiations and influence-seeking among a number of different stakeholders. In practice such a model should incorporate checks and balances between various stakeholders and outside constraints and must take into account how the political and legal system of a country affects this balance. In fact, even if there is theoretical reason to believe that ownership with its incumbent benefits and costs belongs to equity, this view is not dominant in most economies outside United Kingdom and United States of America. The broader notion of corporate governance offers hope for understanding better the developing economies in particular - and other economies in general - where anonymous stock markets are not likely to promote the necessary entrepreneurial activity and corporate restructuring. It suggests that other mechanisms, such as product market competition, peer pressure, or labor market activity, may compensate for this weakness, or more realistically, may be more promising targets for legal or political reform than the stock market.

The aging of the population leads to an increase in the needs for seniors who want to stay at home. In the home support business line, programs are deployed, new methods for dealing with clients are implemented, and technologies are increasingly being used to improve the services offered. Although several studies focus on the factors that may have an impact on the work and health of healthcare and social service providers, few focus on home support aides. Even fewers studies talk about the impact of innovation on the work and health of these workers. The purpose of this article is to present the results of a study carried out among healthcare and social services workers in a region of Quebec, in Canada. The analysis of the results allows us to draw a picture of the sources of satisfaction and suffering associated with the practice of this profession, as well as the strategies used by the participants to cope with the suffering. Moreover, the analysis of the results leads to a reflection on innovation in this sector of activity.

This study aims to discuss the meaning of meaning of rabbany which is ordered from Allah in AlQuran Surah Ali Imran verse 79. In the ushul method shows that each command is an obligation. The verse is analyzed from 8 tafseer books (Jami’u al-Bayan, Ibn Abi Hatim, Bahru al-‘Ulum, Baghawi, Anwaru al-Tanzil fi Asrari al-Ta`wil, Ibn Katsir, Daar al-Mantsur fi Tafsir bi al-Ma`tsur, Maraghi). This research is a library research in the category of qualitative research. The method used is thematic method (maudhu'i). Next, to reveal the meaning of rabbany which is identical with educator, the writer uses the approaches of linguistics, semiotics, hermeneutics and psychology. The research results show that the command of rabbany is an obligation for every Muslim especially educators. The self-adjustment as an educator to the command of Allah is the criteria of an educator based on Al-Quran. The creation of these criteria will create a good educational system on the educator session. So that Al-Qur'an as the source of all aspects can give a perfect education.

This paper is an evaluative study to understand how self efficacy of the educators plays a role in integration of technology in the classroom teaching. For this, the +2 schools of Meghalaya belonging to different streams Arts, Science and Commerce were taken up. A total of 500 numbers of +2 educators in the state of Meghalaya were randomly picked up for participation and out that 417 respondents were selected for analysis fulfilling criteria for enumeration. The educators who participated in the research were divided into three zones according to the types of school they are employed. Zone was divided into three sectionsGaro Hills, Khasi Hills and Jaintia Hills and selected types of schools wereGovt., Deficit, Adhoc and Private schools. Educators from all categories were selected randomly and the criteria for selection were that minimum existential operation of a particular school should not be less than 5 years. Semi-structured questionnaire was provided to the educators in order to understand how much self efficacy influenced integration of technology in classroom teaching. The research tested three hypotheses. The findings revealed that there is a significant impact of self efficacy in the integration of technology in the classroom teaching of +2 Schools of Meghalaya.

Land is not only the source of livelihood, subsistence and survival but it is also a precondition for a just, democratic and socially, politically and economically inclusive society. It is very much associated with the citizenship rights which give a sense of belongingness, equality, and freedom. It is also important to address the question of massive inequality, poverty, hunger and exclusion from every sphere of life. Proper food and homestead are also fundamental to our life as it falls within the realm of natural rights. These are the very first things which a living being needs. Not only the human being, even animals require secure shelter and food for their survival. Yet, we have today a situation in the country where a large number of people do not have access to proper food and shelter. Because right over the land is the source of these fundamental requirements, every human being should have the freedom and ability to obtain it. These natural rights needs to be articulated as legal and human rights in order to force the society and the state to recognize these basic needs for a just, democratic and dignified human existence in the society and also to obligate the state to make provisions. This paper seeks to analyze that how the political parties delayed and diluted the process of land reforms.
