religion is not limited by what isincluded but by what is excluded by it, this lack of coverage will not destroy the deepest religious content. The substance of a human being is to believe in the existence of Lord. This is acknowledged in tauhid rububiyah of Islām people, while what distinguishes Islām from other religions is tauhiduluhiyyah. Basically, the human having religion is same. The concept of Lord in Islâm is based on revelation. The revelation here is not imagination at all as the fancy of a great poet or the artist's claim to themselves. The revelation here is not the apostolic’s inspiration as claimed by biblical writers of the Bible, not the illuminative intuition of a scientist or a sharp-looking expert. The substance of FrithjofSchuont thought about the point of religions, although the external level of religion is different, but in essence all religions are the same. In other words, the unity of religions occurs at a transcendent level. Schuon'sargues that all religions have two realities or essence, namely exoteric and esoteric. The nature of exoterics is the essence of birth, which all religions have different, contradictory, contradictory dogmas, laws, rituals and beliefs.

Migration from one place to another is a human nature. People since ancient period of time had immigrated towards different parts of the world. During the colonial period the Bengali farmers had emigrated towards the Bijni Raj Estate in particular and Goalpara district as a whole. Bijni Raj Estate was actually the largest zamindary estate of undivided Goalpara which cover the maximum area of Goalpara district. The Bengali immigrants were mostly agriculturist and they were encouraged by the colonial regime, the zamindars and the moneylenders to clear the wasteland and the jungle for cultivation. These emigrants had migrated from East Bengal to a large extent and started cultivation with their hard working nature and cultivation techniques. Thus the land hungry and hard working immigrant cultivators of East Bengal pushed out the indigenous Koch, Kachari, Mech and Rajbangshi peasants from the agricultural work. The present study is an attempt to discuss about the background prepared for the immigration of Bengali farmers and their impact on Socio-Economic life of the indigenous peasantry of Bijni Raj Estate.

-.In her novel The Hundred Secret Senses , Amy Tan takes distance from 1990 America and China while travelling back and forth to 1860 Changmian. She revisits the Taiping rebellion, re-affirms the Hakka identity and re-thinks-female Hakkanese subjectivity. She ̳invents‘ and makes use of ̳the world of yin‘ that allows her to travel across continents, temporal spaces as well as life and death. Consequently the novel is a magical realist text. There are magic realist elements as in the case of ̳the world of Yin‘ which is the world of the dead; while reality is demonstrated in the Taiping rebellion (...). The common ground between the two worlds is that the narrator conveys the truth about the Manchu‘s oppression of the Hakka‘s minority on one hand and she further asserts the female subjectivity of the Hakkanese. Therefore the purpose of this article is to reveal the techniques used by Amy Tan to parallel lives of three characters (Chinese and Chinese Americans) with other three incarnated characters from 1860 China; through the use of magic realism and reincarnation. She aims to restore balance and assert one‘s identity (with focus on female subjects). In her reference to a specific historical context, Tan recognizes the oppression the Hakkanese (fe/male) were subject to and clings to their origins. She transgresses temporal and special boundaries through magic realism and re-rights their position and values. Although magic realism is not a prominent characteristic of Asian American literature, it is widely used by Chinese-American novelist Amy Tan in her third novel The Hundred Secret Senses. In this novel, Amy Tan exposes two sisters‘ narration of their respective lives; the Chinese-born Kwan Li and the American-born Olivia Yee being half-sisters. The novel is concerned with the journey of the American-born Olivia toward identity formation and psychic balance. It describes how the parallels between her life and the life of the American missionary Miss Banner help her find that balance. Olivia traces her experiences in two settings: in San Francisco and Changmian. Living with Simon Bishop—her husband for seventeen years—she is torn by grief, despair and fears. She asserts that ―I felt stuck in the bottom of a wishing well. I was desperate to shout what I wanted, but I didn‘t know what that was. I know only what it wasn‘t‖ (128). Olivia suffers from psychic traumas with the death of her father, living her childhood and adolescent years with her Chinese sister who brought her up with her ̳yin stories‘ as she possesses ̳yin eyes‘ ̳yin voice‘ and she lives with those who died in ̳the world of yin‘ Therefore the real and fictional fuse with the magic realist to reconstruct suppressed cultures, identities of the Chinese and Chinese-American as well as the Hakka minority. Furthermore Amy Tan uses magical realism and the concept of reincarnation to articulate the silenced voices and historical traces of a Chinese minority group: the Hakka. Through inscribin

Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) is a social reporting that involves not only a holistic expectation of the society regarding the role of the companies in the community but also a spiritual perspective. This study objective to obtain empirical evidence about the influences of corporate governance strength, media exposure, firm size, and profitability to the extent of Islamic Social Reporting and to find out the impact of ISR on firm value. To measure the extent of Islamic Social Reporting, the researchers used a checklist that had been developed based on the related rules and previous research. This study employed purposive sampling method from companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during 2012-2015. There are 67 companies which fulfill the criteria as the research samples. Meanwhile, the data analysis was conducted with Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). GSCA analysis is one of the Structural Equation Modellings (SEM) which is based on component (Component Based SEM). The results of this study show that corporate governance strength and profitability have positive significance on Islamic Social Reporting. However, firm size has negative significance while media exposure has no significant influence on Islamic Social Reporting. Furthermore, ISR is able to mediate the correlations of corporate governance strength, firm size, and profitability towards firm value.

The intensity of alcohol abuse in Kenya has been a major concern in recent years, more so affecting the youth. Alcoholism continues to affect many families in Kenya usually leaving entire families deeply divided. In many parts of central Kenya, alcoholism has been blamed on the decreasing birth rates. It is therefore evident that if this problem is not checked, the entire society will crumble. This study focused on the youth aged between ages 15-25 years and was carried out in Kinyago Village, Gatundu District, where the problem of youth alcoholism was noted as highly prevalent. The study set out to find out the extent to which alcoholism affects the productivity of the youth, and to understand how the youth cope with the challenges of alcoholism in Kinyago village, Gatundu District. Survey research design was used in this study. Simple random sampling was used to gather a total of 140 respondents. Structured questionnaires were used to collect data from the youth and unstructured interviews collected data from the key informants. The raw data collected were processed using the SPSS statistical package; both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Results indicated that the community and government were making attempts in mitigating the effects of alcoholism among the youth. Some of the methods used to curb youth alcoholism include police raids (21%), parents’ talks (16%), Youth fund (14%), chiefs’ barazas 13%, and games tournaments (5%) among others.
