Condicionamento político na publicação das literaturas da língua portuguesa na Polónia nos anos de 1945 – 1989 1945 - 1989年波兰葡萄牙文学出版的政治条件

The article presents a brief overview of the literature of the Portuguese language in Poland during the communist period, as well as exposes the conditions of the publishing market of that period. The thesis of the text is that it was the policy of the governing communist party that influenced the choices of titles and authors to publish in light of political events in Portugal and its overseas territories in Africa (later PALOP) and in Brazil.
本文简要介绍了共产主义时期波兰葡萄牙语文学的概况,并揭示了这一时期波兰葡萄牙语文学出版市场的状况。这篇文章的论点是,根据葡萄牙及其在非洲的海外领土(后来的PALOP)和巴西的政治事件,执政的共产党的政策影响了书名和作者的选择。

Has the Middle Ages invented globalization or revealed a clear consciousness of globality? On the other hand, may this anachronistic notion prove to be an appropriate and productive operative and analytical concept for rethinking medieval literature beyond its territorial and linguistic boundaries and the epistemological view of the world imposed by a (neo)positivist conception of the history of literature? Mapping the medieval literature in a global perspective implies a methodological repositioning and a process of deterritorialization of the concepts themselves that leads us to reinvest motives, forms, structuring notions (from the chivalric queste to the concept of romance as translatio, passing through the status of the marvelous) with new meanings and, consequently, new cultural and poetic implications.

Camões, because of his romantic,life and the patriotism that reflects his masterpiece, Os Lusíadas, became very popular in nineteenth-century Hungary. On the one hand, it was the romantic feeling of the time that consecrated him a prominent poet and, on the other hand, the political and mental conditions of Hungary fighting at that time for the mental and political independence of the country. That is why frequent references are made to both his figure and his work, and the poet appears several times as a central figure in Hungarian works of fiction and poetry.

The Presence of Portuguese Contemporary Poetry at the Struga Poetry Evenings 葡萄牙当代诗歌在斯特鲁加诗歌之夜的出现

The idea of political union of a democratic Europe must be founded upon its cultural dimension. Poetry is a very important dimension of European civilization and an essential exercise of creative freedom for approximating individual human beings and countries. The topic of this paper will be the presence of Portuguese contemporary poetry at the Struga Poetry Evenings (SPE), an international poetry festival started in 1962. The SPE has a very significant role in reception and promoting the other literatures and cultures to the Macedonian authors and readership. The selection of Portuguese contemporary poetry at the SPE included several books: 1. The poetry of Vasco Graça Moura, the «Golden Wreath» Winner at the SPE (2004); 2. The selected poems of Casimiro de Brito (2006); 3. One anthology of the Portuguese contemporary poetry (2001). The literary translation has a very important mission: every Encounter with the Other creates a dialogue, but it also means Self-knowledge. This poetic «joint-venture» of Macedonia and Portugal (both with republican traditions in constructing the collective memory and history) through the SPE could be a good symbol: it does contribute to a long tradition of uniting the world through the word of the poets.

Father Antonio Vieira wrote a work of circumstance — letters, sermons and papers — that he calls «choupanas» (huts), and a work of great research — The Key of the Prophets — who he also calls «palácios altíssimos» (towering palaces). In all these texts there is a rhetorical-humanistic theology, which he shares with many thinkers of his time, and particularly with its confreres. The innovative aspect of this theology is that it also makes use of «new» sources (historical reflection and Jesuit spirituality) and new inspirations (from Vieira himself) that make it unique and deserving a deepening that has not been done.

A religião nas narrativas utópicas 乌托邦叙事中的宗教

Thomas More’s Utopia and the subsequent literary creations that belong to the same literary genre represent the affirmation of human initiative and its exclusive responsibility for the laws that rule the destiny of the City. This political autarchy points at an organisation of the society, so zealous of autonomy, that it seems to exclude from itself any divinity or religion. This is not, however, what we see in most of the utopic narratives, starting with the one by More that deals extensively with the religious issue. What statute and significance does religion have in the utopias? The answer can be attempted at three principal levels, which correspond to the same amount of ways of presence and articulation of the religious element in the described societies. There is, firstly, the consecration of Christianism as supreme religion in More’s Utopia. However, this consecration does not prevent the dimension of social criticism, characteristic of the utopic imagination, from applying also to the religious phenomenon. We have, then, the Christian reference to narratives in which the Christianism of origins appears as inspiration and model. Let us remember, for example, the «New Christianism» by Saint-Simon. Lastly, in the last two centuries, the horizon of Christianism tends to dissipate itself in narratives that advocate the implantation of a new social ethics. In this communication, we deal solely with the «Utopias of the Renaissance», the utopias of Thomas More, Tommaso Campanella and Francis Bacon.

Europe as Other in Contemporary Balkan Literatures 当代巴尔干文学中的欧洲作为他者

The Balkans are a region where different images of the world have continuously been offered, as well as different points of view regarding the idea of Europe itself. The richness comes from the diversity of nations, people, languages and cultures, and is the basic characteristic of this particular region. However, some ideas have already grown as a «regional» concept, created and developed within the above-mentioned diversity. Although the Balkans belong to Europe, both geographically and historically, from the moment the concept of «Other Europe» was invented for them, the distinction was already made. Usually seen by Europeans as Others, the Balkan people started to create their own idea of Europe as Other. Balkan nations have mostly supported the idea of Europe, as a dream, desire, or reality, longing to join (or to return to) the big European family. Some of them have recently become Member States of the European Union; others are still waiting their turn. But, another concept is also present, very close to the idea of Occidentalism, created as an answer to Edward Said’s Orientalism or Maria Todorova’s Balkanism. This is mostly related to the new social circumstances during the post communist period of transition. Different stereotypes and prejudices of Europe have been created, and can easily be found in literature works, too. In our paper we deal with some of these imaginary concepts, which are present in different works of fiction, published in the last few years in several Balkan countries: Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania and Turkey.

Versos de orgulho de uma mulher indecorosa: Dor e redenção em Florbela Espanca 一个不体面的女人的骄傲诗:Florbela Espanca的痛苦和救赎

According to José Régio, the personality of Florbela Espanca was marked by an attitude extremely proud of itself. In her life, the artist sank a critical reception that was quite prejudiced, dictated by a series of prejudices attributed to the woman. Starting from this facet, with the awareness that the Poetry of Florbela Espanca has several interpretative strands, we propose a brief study of the sonnets Versos de orgulho and O meu orgulho, to highlight two creative forces that permeate the poetic of the writer: Pain and Redemption.

Practically unknown in Portugal, the work of Mario Mieli (1952-1983) is one with his politically engaged life and is on the process of being rediscovered, in a time when the younger queer generations are putting forward projects that are akin of his gaia scienza, and namely in what concerns his particular notion of trans-sexuality, unaware of the latter, as well as of the questions it raised already at its inception. The present text introduces it in its nine points, traces its dissemination in queer studies, concerning both its insights and its limitations, and its critical reception down to the present day.
