STRUCTURAL SYNTHESIS OF ASSUR EIGHT-BAR CLOSED KINEMATIC CHAINS OF THE FIRST FAMILY MOVABLE LINKS OF THE FOURTH TYPE 第四类第一家族活动连接件的阿苏尔八杆封闭式运动链的结构合成

The study objective is to develop a method for the structural synthesis of closed kinematic chains (CKC) of moving links onto Assur eight-bar CKC of the first family of the fourth type. The tasks are the following: based on the universal structural system of closed kinematic chains of the first family to determine the composition of solutions describing the arrangement of Assur closed kinematic chains of the first family with the complexity of the basic chain link equal to four, chain mobility equal to six and the total number of chain links equal to eight. To identify virtual chain links and obtain combinations of kinematic pairs and links that are the basis for constructing structural schemes of Assur eight-bar closed kinematic chains of the first family according to the given parameters. Using the obtained data, to consider constructing structural schemes of Assur eight-bar closed kinematic chains of the first family of the fourth type on a specific example. Research methods are the method of structural synthesis of closed kinematic chains of moving links of the first family, set theory and combinatorics, virtualization, identification and coding, graph theory. The novelty of the work: the features of applying a universal structural system for determining the composition of Assur eight-bar closed kinematic chains of the first family of the fourth type are given. Using a specific example, the order of applying the obtained solutions for synthesis of structural schemes of Assur eight-bar closed kinematic chains of the first family of the fourth type is considered. The study results: combinations of kinematic pairs and links are found, which make it possible to construct all possible structural schemes of Assur eight-bar closed kinematic chains of the first family under given parameters. A diagram of an eight-bar closed kinematic chain of the six subfamily movable links of the first family of the fourth type is obtained, from which single-movable eight-bar mechanisms of the first family can be formed by stopping one of the links.

This study is devoted to the quality of the surface layer of tyres, the analysis of various surface hardening installations and the choice of the optimal machining method, evaluation of various parameters using modern control methods. The advantages of the laser surface thermal hardening method can be noted as the novelty of the research. As a result, informative diagnostic parameters based on the acoustic emission method are formulated.

DETERMINATION OF THE ELEMENTS RESOURCE OF THE CONTACT PAIR ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKING CONDITION 根据触点对的工作状态确定触点对的元件资源

Implementation of the functional purpose of a technical system depends on its structural composition and the conditions of external influence. Machine-building products are a complex technical system consisting of structural elements interconnected according to the principle of hierarchy (technical system – structural system – element). The functional state of the elements is determined by maintaining the technical parameters within the specified limits during the given time interval. During operation under external load, the mating parts of the contact pair have different degrees of changing technical parameters. In most cases, the resource of one of the contacting elements of the pair is lower, which leads to its repeated replacement until the resource is fully exhausted by the second element. The consumer is primarily interested in the problem of determining the necessary number of element replacements. The solution of this problem is possible by finding out functional dependencies of changes in technical parameters over time for each mating element in the contact pair, taking into account their actual operating time up to the pre-failure state. The use of this methodological approach makes it possible to predict at the design stage the realized level of reliability of the elements, of the contact pair and of the technical system as a whole during further operation of machine-building products.

MANAGING REPAIR COSTS AND RESTORATION OF CAR TIRES 管理维修成本和修复汽车轮胎

The study objective is to minimize the cost of repairing car tires and their retreading. The paper task is to study the reliability (resource) on the example of tires of different vehicle categories (cars, trucks and buses), analyzing the factors affecting the service life of tires, their cost and the quality of repair and retreading. Experimental studies were conducted at one of the enterprises of motor transport with its own tire installation site using the method of monitoring and maintaining statistics on types of damage (cut, puncture, bulge, as well as retreading). The criterion of management technical efficiency is the dependence of the intensity of tire tread wear on the service life. The material and methods used in this paper are new, allowing to make recommendations for both road transport enterprises, car service stations, and for the tire manufacturer, taking into account all possible factors. Comprehensive management of the above costs helps the company achieve maximum effect in material and financial aspects.

FORMING THE SURFACE LAYER OF POROUS METAL CERAMICS IN BLADE CUTTING AND ELECTROCHEMICAL EFFECTS 刀片切割中多孔金属陶瓷表层的形成及电化学效应

The study objective of this paper is to determine the rules and influence of various factors on porosity, a specific qualitative indicator of the surface of metal ceramic parts. The main task is to find out the most favorable machining conditions when the porosity of the surface layer remains as high as possible. The research methods are of an experimental practical nature with a comparison and evaluation of the results obtained, in which machining features of porous metal ceramics and methods for improving the efficiency of surface shaping while maintaining the functional physical parameters of the part surfaces are considered. The modes and conditions of machining are noted with the relevant recommendations. As a result, recommendations for machining such materials are formulated, which allow minimizing the effect of pore tightening and reducing deformation phenomena in the material.

THE FRAME STRENGTH FOR THE POWER PLANT AND HYDRAULIC TRANSMISSION OF DR1B DIESEL TRAIN TYPE DR1B型柴油列车动力装置和液压传动装置的框架强度

Compliance with the regulatory requirements of the upgraded part of a diesel train is checked. The object of the study is a modified frame design for a new power plant and hydraulic transmission of DR1B diesel train type. The frame is designed for a new power plant, a comparative analysis of the original frame design with the modified one is presented, as well as their structural differences are described. The normative loading modes are described and the loading factors for assessing the strength of the frame structure under study are presented. A finite element model of the modified frame structure for the power plant is developed, its stress-strain state is analyzed, and on its basis a scheme for installing resistance strain gages is developed. The results of full-scale impact tests and running strength tests of a diesel train with a modified frame design are presented. A calculated and experimental assessment of the fatigue resistance reserve coefficient is performed.

The paper presents the technological process of local borating of medium carbon steellayers from coatings and HFC heating. Comparative studies of the wear of borated layers with different morphologies show the advantages of layers with a composite structure in a wide range of sliding speeds from 0.05 to 3 m/s. The maximum effective protection time is provided by borated layers which combine a compact structure with a composite one under harsh operating conditions. Conditional recalculation of the wear results of borated samples in harsh conditions allows assuming that running of the wedge-type shock absorber in general conditions is more than 600 thousand km.

DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE LUBRICANT FOR TRANSPORT 开发运输用高温润滑油

The development of lubricants modified with geofillers based on non-oxidized and oxidized (oxidates) industrial oil I -40A and PN-6 petroleum plasticizer is studied. Serpentenites and manganese dioxide are used as geofillers. Based on the results, a high-temperature antifriction lubricant with repair and recovery properties was obtained, which is a lubricating composition based on PN-6 petroleum plasticizer oxidate with a geofiller - serpentinite and a crystallizer – manganese dioxide. The developed lubricant contains an optimal amount of serpentinite - 0.3%; manganese dioxide – 0.05%; oxidate -99.65%. High-temperature lubricants based on oxidized oils (oxidates) and geo-fillers are recommended for use in high-temperature and high-loaded friction units of machine-building equipment, in sliding bearings of steam engines, transport trolleys used in brick firing and other equipment. The lubricants obtained as a result of the research increase the service life of the equipment due to their good lubricating properties under conditions of high loads and temperatures in friction units.

INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE AND MATERIAL AGEING PROCESSES ON THE POWER CHARACTERISTICS OF POLYMERIC CAR ABSORBING DEVISES 温度和材料老化过程对聚合物汽车吸能装置功率特性的影响

Improving the dynamic qualities, traffic safety and increasing the inter-repair mileage of cars are urgent tasks of car-building industry. The most dangerous loads acting on the car are longitudinal loads during emergency driving modes, to reduce which inter-car shock absorbers (absorbing devices) are provided; their effectiveness must be ensured throughout the whole car life. The performance of polymer car absorbing devices depends primarily on the durability of the polymer, which is a kinetically activated process accelerated by repeated deformations and elevated temperature. The mechanism of the material ageing process depends on the structure of the material. Based on experimental laboratory studies and comparative field tests, ageing of elastomers of different classes have been identified, the dependences of the power characteristics of R-5P absorbing apparatus with two types of solid elastomer (based on rubber and a mixture of elastic thermoplastic with polyvinyl chloride plastic) have been constructed at normal and low temperatures, as well as after 6 years of operation. Recommendations are given to increase the resistance to crystallization and to ageing of polymer elements of absorbing devices. It is advisable to use the characteristics obtained in the paper when modeling the operation of absorbing devices with a solid elastomer, taking into account the operating time.

APPLICATION OF NEURAL NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES FOR CONTROL OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS 应用神经网络技术控制交通信号灯

The paper describes the use of an artificial neural network to determine the optimal parameters of traffic light regulation based on the intensity of traffic flow. At regulated intersections, there is an imbalance in the intensity of traffic flow, due to which one operation mode of traffic lights at an intersection may be ineffective. The study objective is to develop software for predicting the operating modes of traffic lights, taking into account the spatial and temporal unevenness of transport demand. Based on the simulation of traffic flows at one regulated intersection, the values of the average delay time were determined for different traffic light operating modes and traffic flow intensities, including turning ones. The artificial neural network was trained on data from 16 thousand simulations and tested on four thousand simulations. Using an artificial neural network to calculate the optimal operating mode of traffic lights reduces the delay time by 20-50% for two rush hours. A pre-trained artificial neural network can calculate the optimal operating mode of traffic lights for a specific regulated intersection in one second. The developed software can be used to implement an intelligent transport system in an automated traffic control system.
