Low Cost and Robust Field-Deployable Environmental Sensor for Smart Agriculture 用于智能农业的低成本、鲁棒的现场可部署环境传感器

We developed low-cost maintenance-free environmental sensors and their network that we used to gather local climate conditions in the field. The features of our approach are the low-cost yet accurate sensors, photovoltaic energy-harvesting, and cloud data processing. We could build a sensor network that was maintenance-free, was low environmental impact (we used supercapacitors instead of batteries to store harvested energy), and was cheap enough that can be massively installed it in the field.

A hybrid active vision system for real time application running object recognition 一种用于目标识别实时应用的混合主动视觉系统

Computer vision is developing fast and be applied to robotics. Active vision system has been researched recently to address problems with saccade movement and real-time realization. The paper proposed the use of a hybrid system consisting of an object recognition model built with MobileNet SSD and an object tracker running Median Flow. This system has proven to work well in real-time application, with an average 15 frames per second and angular speed of 75 degree per second. The system remains stable and robust throughout all experiments. The final design is implemented to control movement of a transhumeral prosthesis through determining object of interest, calibrating wrist according to object position and choosing grip patterns with respective to object characteristics.

Analysis of Embedded-Diode Performance in MOSFET under Switching Condition 开关条件下MOSFET内嵌二极管性能分析

It has been measured that the I-V characteristics of the embedded diode in SiC MOSFETs shows an unexpected Vgs dependence. With the use of 2D-device simulation, we have analyzed the reason for this phenomenon. It was found that a non-negligible bipolar effect is the origin. Further, a compact model has been developed to reproduce the measured Vgs dependence. The model enables the prediction of this unexpected Vgs dependence based on the device’s structural features.

Modeling of Photocurrent Response for Integrated Optoelectric Circuit Simulation 集成光电电路仿真中的光电流响应建模

The photodiode model HiSIM-PD has been developed for circuit integration by considering the dynamic carrier generation mechanism explicitly. To predict transient photocurrent characteristics accurately for any device structure as well as any bias condition different electric field distributions in the device causing different carrier transit dynamics are distinguished. It is verified that the extended HiSIM-PD is applicable for integrated circuit simulation predicting generated current response accurately for any operating conditions and device structures.

In order to realize a neural network, an optical waveguide having a memory effect was fabricated by using a core layer containing a photochromic material "diarylethene". An optical neural networks using waveguides having a memory effect, photodiodes and LEDs have been proposed. The transmittance of green light was decreased by UV light irradiation and recovered by the passage of green light through the waveguide. From the analysis and modeling of the optical response, a method to reduce the response time in millisecond order has been proposed.

HD 180 FPS FPGA Processor to Generate Depth Image with Clear Object Boundary HD 180 FPS FPGA处理器生成具有清晰对象边界的深度图像

This paper proposes a novel fast method of depth image generation with super-pixels (SPs) that introduces a matching algorithm on SP basis, one-way check using only unidirectional disparities, and a cost filter on SP basis. In architecture design, an SP segmentation circuit that performs four iterations for whole image in one pass with four processing elements (PEs) is introduced. An SP-based stereo matching circuit is configured by serially connecting the same number of PEs as the maximum disparity, and performs parallel matching of all disparities for a left pixel, while suppressing memory access of the right pixel to 1 pixel / cycle. We implemented an FPGA processor with OpenCL and achieved high throughput of HD 180 fps with a disparity range of 192 pixels.

Feature Extraction of Colorectal Endoscopic Images for Computer-Aided Diagnosis with CNN 基于CNN计算机辅助诊断的结肠内镜图像特征提取

This paper introduces a feature extraction method for Narrow-Band Imaging (NBI) colorectal endoscopic images with Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for Support Vector Machine (SVM) as a Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system. The proposed method using the result of pre-learned CNN as a feature extraction module on Bag-of-Features (BoF) framework and SVM inputs the result for classification. We estimated identification accuracy compare with the BoF framework and the proposed method. As an estimation result, we achieved that the proposed method can identify cancer or not with about over 90% accuracy.

Capacitance and Surface Potential Model for III-V Double-Gate FET III-V双栅场效应管的电容和表面电位模型

In this paper, we propose a physics based model for the gate capacitance, surface potential and channel charge for III-V symmetric DGFETs. This model comprehensively accounts for different terms that contribute to the gate capacitance such as insulator, centroid and quantum capacitance. It considers 1D confinement of electron, wave function penetration into the insulator and Fermi-Dirac statistics. It contains only one approximation that the shape of the wave function is independent of applied gate voltage and this approximation is taken care by adding perturbation term to the energy of sub-bands. We show that the model matches very well with data obtained from the 1D Poisson-Schrödinger solver for different channel thicknesses and materials.

Stability Analysis of Humanoid Robots with Gyro Sensors Subjected to External Push Forces 带陀螺传感器的人形机器人在外力作用下的稳定性分析

This paper presents a robot-control system for recovery from destabilization due to external pushing forces. The system controls the joint angle of the humanoid robot with the help of integrated gyro sensors. Two single-axis gyro sensors are integrated into a real robot to detect the changes in angular velocity, induced by robot motion during walking, falling or interaction with other physical objects. The detected angular velocity is used to control the ankle-pitch and roll motors for keeping the robot’s balance. The robot reaction is analyzed by extending the inverted pendulum model and results are used for recovering robot stability.
