In this paper, we propose an algorithm for detecting artifacts in long-term video-EEG monitoring data in the problem of diagnosing cerebral ischemia after subarachnoid hemorrhage. The algorithm is based on a threshold detector using the smoothed optical flow value. The optical flow is calculated from the video frames of long-term video-EEG monitoring. We conducted a computational experiment that showed the following: (a) artifacts are detected with accuracy acceptable for diagnosing cerebral ischemia during synchronous analysis of video data and EEG signals; (b) artifacts can be detected in real time.

The paper considers the issues of improving the efficiency of noninvasive electrocardiodiagnostic screening system (NESS) based on the registration of multiple leads of the electrocardiographic signal (ECS). The proposed methods and means of ECS processing refer to the 4th generation electrocardiography, which allows obtaining new information about cardiac processes more reliably and revealing clinically significant cardiac pathologies under screening conditions. An approach to building NESS has been proposed that consists in "convergence" of solutions of direct and inverse electrocardiology problems with subsequent visualization of the results of the solutions for a visual presentation of the heart electrical activity (HEA) to the physician. Increased efficiency of NESS is due to the original "technological pipeline" of ECS processing: registration of multiple ECS leads, pre-processing of ECS, multivariate analysis of ECS, modeling and visualization of ECS.Physicians are provided with a tool for screening and diagnostics of HEA, providing increase of efficiency of HEA assessment on the basis of collection, processing and transfer of cardiographic information; modeling of HEA; visualization of HEA analysis results.

The paper analyzes the influence of different background areas on the image of a bridge structure on the quality of registration of multi-temporal images of one section using stochastic algorithms. In this case, the images were obtained from an unmanned aerial vehicle having a difference in the coordinates of their acquisition. The influence of registration parameters of images for the sky area, soil cover and the shape of the structure is analyzed under the assumption that the mutual spatial deformations of the images are described by a similarity model. It is shown that the results can be used to search for newly appeared objects in the area of interest.

The paper presents a method for visualizing feature spaces describing the pixels of hyperspectral images based on spectral and texture characteristics. The proposed method allows using various measures of spectral dissimilarity between image pixels along with textural features. The method is based on an implicit transition to intermediate feature representations using the calculation of pairwise dissimilarities between data points in input feature spaces, followed by the reconstruction of feature vectors in 3D space and interactive data visualization. The proposed approach is investigated on publicly available hyperspectral scenes using quantitative estimates and visual analysis.

In this research we estimate the influence polarisation of the incident radiation on the measurement by a pyramidal aperture cantilever. The numerical modelling of the detection process was made by applying the finite-difference time-domain method. It was numerically demonstrated that proposed aluminum pyramidal aperture cantilever is more sensitive to the transversal electric components than the longitudinal component.

The paper discusses development of a smart digital twin of plants (DTP) based on the principles of emergent intelligence. The described methodology is part of the approach proposed by the authors earlier. It proposes implementation of a smart DTP as a multilevel complex adaptive system with the use of ontologies and multi-agent technologies. Models for interaction between agents of plant parts and subsystems can provide more accurate planning of each stage of plant growth. The paper describes the architecture of the DTP prototype, as well as a scenario of an experiment with it. Development of methodology will improve the accuracy of real plant simulation and simplify scaling of the system when developing ontological models of new crops.

The article presents the results of a study of hyperspectral imaging in microscopy to assess pathological changes in unstained medical micropreparations. Hyperspectral imaging was carried out using a system of synchronous shooting and movement of a movable table combined with a stepper motor. To improve the quality of the obtained images, software correction of the illumination of the spectral channels was used. The classification was carried out by a convolutional neural network. This method may be promising for assessing pathological changes in clinical practice. Experimental studies were carried out on histological preparations with different types of tissues without staining with contrasting medical dyes. To assess the reliability of the classification method, a comparison was made with the standard method using staining of the studied samples.

In this research, we demonstrate the capabilities of the normalized range method (R/S analysis) in the study of fractal patterns in biomedical data of complex living systems. The paper presents the basic mathematical relationships for the computer implementation of fast and slow (with averaging) algorithms for calculating the Hurst exponent. In case of a complex image of the resulting logarithmic curve, a piecewise linear approximation is proposed for calculating the generalized value of the Hurst exponent. The analysis of self-similar properties in separate sections of the time evolution of living systems is performed using the localization procedure. The capabilities of the proposed algorithms were demonstrated by analyzing the scaling features of the time dynamics of the tremor velocity in Parkinson's disease, the bioelectrical activity of the brain of patients with epilepsy. The results can be used in computational biophysics and physics of complex systems to search for diagnostic criteria for neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, as well as to study the processes of biological aging and changes in the "physiological complexity" of the human body.

Quality of the wavefront reversal by a four-wave radiation converter in a parabolic waveguide with resonant nonlinearity have been analyzed using the point spread function. Medium with resonant nonlinearity have been modeled by an ensemble of particles described by a two-level energy scheme. It has been shown that over time, the half-width of the point spread function module decreases, reaching a stationary value, the magnitude of which is determined by the first pump wave intensity in the case of a long waveguide. A decrease in the pump radius at low intensity of the first pump wave leads to a decrease in the half-width of the point spread function modulus (the quality of the wavefront reversal improves), and at high intensity leads to an increase in the half-width of the point spread function modulus (the quality of the wavefront reversal deteriorates) in the stationary case with distribution on the back waveguide face depending on the transverse coordinate of the second pump wave amplitude of the according to the Gaussian law.
