Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang pendekatan hermeneutika pemikiran Fazlur Rahman tentang teori pendidikan Islam, dan untuk mengidentifikasikan biografi Fazlur Rahman serta karya-karyanya, serta tafsir al-Qur’an dalam perspektif hermeneutika. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Dari hasil/inti dari penulisan ini dapat ditemukan bahwa terdapat dua jenis hermeneutika Al-Qur'an yakni hermeneutika Al-Qur'an tradisional dan modern. Satu-satunya alat metodologis yang dipergunakan dalam hermeneutika Al-Qur'an tradisional adalah linguistik dan sejarah. Terlepas dari fakta bahwa elemen ini hadir pada saat itu, tidak ada hubungan sistematis antara teks, interpretasi, dan pembaca yang dituju dari teks tersebut. Islam of mercy today is often conveyed by the terms of the ulama, preachers, religious scholars in various online and offline media, in line with that religious practice in the post-truth era shows complex problems (Cheong, 2013, p. 77). However, it is unfortunate if Islam of mercy becomes a tool of institutional interest, even though the Qur'an emphasizes that Allah's mercy is vast, as Quraish Shihab describes Islam of mercy when interpreting the QS. al-Anbiya/21:107. The question of this research is what is the understanding of Islam from the perspective of Quraish Shihab on the phenomenon of claiming authority today? What are the interpretive meanings contained in the Islamic concept of mercy?. By using thematic methods and hermeneutic analysis, the writer argues that Islam is not just an a priori knowledge but an urgent need in its practice. Islam of mercy includes several meanings including: the prophet of mercy, the book or treatise of mercy and the religion of mercy where the three concepts are interrelated with each other. Thus the Islamic concept of mercy is not a conceptual framework of narrowing meaning but a conceptual study that becomes an academic study. Islam mercy overshadows the entire creation of creatures as a necessity that Allah created in different, but essentially the same as His creatures.

This article will explain the development of modern thought. especially the reforms in Islam that have been shared by Fazlur Rahman. This study uses library research by tracing sources written by Fazlur Rahman himself and several scholars who discuss Islamic reform thinking. In his research, Fazlur Rahman found four patterns of reform thinking in Islam, among others; Pre-Modern Revivalism, Classical Modernism, Neo-Revivalism and the last is Neo-Modernism. Rahman conducted his research based on the time span from the 18th century to the early half of the 20th century. From the readings made by Fazlur Rahman, each movement carries its own idea. For example, the movement in the 18th century was characterized by Islamic purification, which sought to restore Islam to the time of the Prophet. Then entering the twentieth century, the style of Islam was influenced by modern movements and thoughts that came from the west because the interaction of Islamic thought and modernism strengthened in that century. However, for Rahman, the movement failed to respond to the needs of Muslims today, so he claimed to be the representative of the Islamic Neo-Modernism movement which he himself initiated to answer the needs of Islam today.

This paper is a literature review of Muhammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi's thoughts regarding moral principles which aims to criticize the western intuitionist view that the source of human behavior originates from the conscience, so that good and bad values are particular in reality. The author refers to one of Taqi Misbah Yazdi's main works, entitled "Amûzshe-e Falsafe" to examine moral concepts in ontological and epistemological systems according to moral philosophy discourse. By using a descriptive-philosophical approach, it is concluded that Muhammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi offers a universal concept in moral discourse that the human mind can conceptualize moral values and construct essential, logical, and philosophical concepts to know the justification of good and bad predictions for a behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Peraturan Daerah Kota Kendari No. 16 Tahun 2014 tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok di IAIN Kendari dan Upaya agar Peraturan Daerah tersebut dapat berjalan efektif. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian hukum empiris yang menggunakan Reduksi, Display, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan sebagai teknik analis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, yaitu: Pertama, berdasarkan teori sistem hukum Lawrence M. Friedman, Peraturan Daerah Kota Kendari tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok di IAIN Kendari belum berjalan efektif. Hal ini disebakan oleh faktor legal structure dan legal culture yang masih lemah, yakni: Dinas Kesehatan kota Kendari sebagai otoritas penegak Peraturan Daerah belum melakukan sosialisasi dan kordinasi di IAIN Kendari. Hal inilah yang berdampak pada rendahnya kesadaran hukum sivitas akademika IAIN Kendari terkait Peraturan Daerah Kawasan Tanpa Rokok. Islamic economics has emerged since the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Islam has regulated from the beginning the relationship between humans entirely. Since the time of the Prophet, the mujtahids of Islam have formulated Islamic economic Thinking based on the Qur'an and Hadith. This research explores Islamic economic thought through Muslim figures Al-Mawardi and Monzer Kahf. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature study of collecting information and data sourced from various libraries such as journal articles, books, the Internet, and similar previous research results aimed at obtaining information. The results showed that Al-Mawardi formulated Islamic economic ideas such as the establishment of imamah, infrastructure by the state, fulfillment of needs by the state, spending on public services financed by the state, and the establishment of baitul Mal. while Monzer Kahf formulated Islamic economic ideas such as economic activities with Islamic principles run by ibadurrahman, the scale of the dimensions of not only the world but also the afterlife, free from usury, consumption patterns that are not excessive, and the state as the maker of policy and supervision.

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature study of collecting information and data sourced from various libraries such as journal articles, books, the Internet, and similar previous research results aimed at obtaining information.
