The design and application of robust controller for a class of uncertain non-linear systems with time-varying state delay are considered. The uncertainties are norm-bounded and the states of the uncertain systems are available. A sufficient condition of robust stability control law is given for the non-linear systems by constructing Lyapunov function. The state feedback control law can be obtained by solving the corresponding linear matrix inequality. At last, the looper MIMO systems of hot strip rolling mill is designed by adopting this method. The application simulation result is presented to illustrate the validity and feasibility of this approach.

In the real manufacturing process, many conditions influence its process. However, there are three important factors consisting of final customer feedback information, flexible manufacturing and supplier selection affect the manufacturing process. In order to satisfy the real requirements of manufacturing process, this paper employs association rule mining of data mining technology including the above three factors to optimize the process of manufacturing.

Artificial Emotion model is considered as a key component of to achieve a more effective human-computer interaction and its basic and fundamental are the essentially understanding and expression of natural emotion. The paper presents an emotion computing model Based on Random Process. The model simulates the dynamic process of emotional self-regulation and the dynamic process of emotional transference under the influence of external stimuli. The simulation results show that the change process of emotions simulated by the emotion computing model is consistent with the change rule of human emotion, and it provides a new mechanism for emotional decision-making of emotion robots.

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) model is an effective way to integrate resources in supply chain management, but many scholars believe that VMI is more conducive to the demand-side than to the supply-side. This paper chooses Panasonic Electric Work - Wanbao (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd. as an example, and analyzes the application of VMI in the supply chain management. By expounding the problems in the traditional inventory management, and evaluating the effectiveness of VMI, the author concludes that VMI is a win-win approach to the supply chain. VMI could reduce the overall inventory costs, and improve efficiency and service levels of the whole supply chain.

In order to improve radar's detection performance under non-Gaussian background clutter. We design a new distributed fuzzy CAGO/SO-CFAR detection system including two sensors. Both sensors compute the value of the membership function mapping to the false alarm space according to the samples of the reference cells, in the fusion centre two values are combined according to four kinds of fusion rule to estimate the background clutter power. The simulation results prove the detection improvement of CASO based on algebraic-sum rule under multi-target environment, and present better false-alarm-control capacity of CAGO based on MIN rule under clutter-edge environment.

the application of Life Cycle Costing in the world is still hindered significantly by the lack of standard methods and the excuse of lack of sound data upon which to arrive at accurate decisions. This paper tend to explore the knowledge management issues in LCC based on a brief but representative literature review by which the relationship between barriers to apply LCC and knowledge management is showed. A knowledge management framework for facilitating use of LCC is proposed and some facilitating experiences under the framework are presented based on an empirical multiple-case study. An essential effort is to reconcile and integrate LCC to existing management information system rather than to establish an independent but absolute LCC system.

Using a daily sample of the 1-week Shanghai interbank offered rate, we research the volatility of Chinese spot rate using EGARCH model, and then calculate its value at risk by VaR-EGARCH model. We also examine the effect of IPOs of big and medium enterprises in Chinese stock market on Shibor rates. The results show that big and medium sized IPOs have a significant impact on Shibor rates. The huge IPOs resulted in abnormal volatility of Shibor rates, and caused great risk in the 2007 and 2008. The reform of IPOs system in 2009 has reduced the effect of huge IPOs on Shibor rates a lot.

Project investment decision-making system is a typical grey system which has the characteristics of some information uncertainty. This thesis tries to combine organically grey system theory with AHP. It computes judgement matrix and builds model through weighted grey relevancy degree, which provide an efficient decision making pathway. Grey relevancy analysis method is used to handle with power project investment decision making process. Then the multi-objects are weighted through AHP method. Finally, weighted grey relevancy degree is computed to select the optimal investment plan from alternatives which leads decision making result is more scientific.

With more and more serious problem on water pollution, it is significant to monitor the water quality and get to know the trend of the water quality change for water source management and water environment protection. Urban drinking water source quality monitoring system is based on GIS and remote sensing technology. This relatively integrated system comprises water source quality information receiving and collection and emergency response. By the integration of database and model-base, the system can receive and collect up-to-data information about flood from RS monitoring and routine observation. In application of image processing and information amalgamation, the change of water source qualtiy can be rapidly confim spatially and temporally, which can provide sicentific methods to experts for them to manage and make corresponding policy.

Image segmentation is the most significant step in image analysis and is a long-term difficult problem, which hasn't been fully solved. Many segmentation methods have been brought forward to deal with image segmentation, among these methods thresholding is the simple and important method in image segmentation. In practical work, 2-dimension (2D) entropy method is often used. It segments images by using the gray value of the pixel and the local average gray value of it, and thus provides better results than that of one-dimension entropy. However, for more accurate thresholding, much more time has to pay. Thus, this paper employs a novel approach to 2D threshold selection based on binary coded ant colony optimization algorithm. The proposed approach has been implemented and tested on several real images. Experiments results indicate that proposed method performs well which is a good method to help select optimum 2D thresholds.
