In this paper, a method of being modified 2-D DOA estimation is presented. By reconstructing covariance matrix of the received array data, the correlativity of the incident signals is recreased, and mis-division between signal subspace and noise subspace is controlled, therefore the number of estimated signals would be equal to the number of actual incident signals. This method has good performance not only for DOA estimation of the correlation signals, but for DOA estimation of the non-correlation signals. In addition the computational complexity will not increase obviously. The simulation tests verify the validity of the presented algorithm.

This paper presents an algorithm based on SIFT features. It calculates key points in the image and extracts the feature of the image by calculating the key points' orientation and modulus of the gradient. The similarity between two images is computed using Euclidean distance. The experiment shows that the feature is invariant to image scaling translation, rotation, and partly invariant to illumination changes and has a certain affine invariance. It is better than the color feature in the video image retrieval.

Electronic stability control system (ESC) is one of the advanced active safety technology for modern vehicles. The active yaw-moment control (AYC) is one of the most important parts of ESC to enhance vehicle active safety. The control method with combination of logic threshold and PID method is brought out. The PID parameters are generated by logic threshold method through the controller adjusting parameters. The wheel brake torque to keep vehicle stable is calculated by PD controller. The self-correcting threshold of PD control algorithm has the merit of decreasing calculation processes and increasing computation speed. The results of simulation show that the proposed algorithm can be used to control the vehicle more stably under various conditions.

Constraint satisfaction techniques are integrated into CBR in order to develop a more efficient adaptation mechanism. According to the characteristic of auto-body inner packaging, based on the nearest neighborhood method for case retrieval, the object-oriented case presentation models of auto-body inner packaging are presented by adding index and solution object into the extended object model. Adaptation knowledge is represented as evaluation rules and constraints. The strategies for case adaptation, combining parameter substitution with constrain satisfaction, are presented to modify case solution to fit the current problem definition.

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent stability for T-S fuzzy descriptor networked control systems with multiple state time-delays. Without using model transformation and bounding technique for cross terms, an improved delay-dependent stability criterion is established in terms of strict linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which ensure the system is regular, impulse free and asymptotically stable. With the proposed criteria, we are able to obtain maximum allowable delay bound (MADB) of NCSs. Numerical example shows that the proposed criteria are effective and less conservative.

In this paper, the main circuit structure with series dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) and shunt active power filter (APF) of unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) is taken as the research object. According to its fundament component of steady-state equivalent circuit the phasor representation in voltage changing is shown. The optimum angle voltage injection of DVR is proposed by the principle of main circuit minimum total capacity. The output compensation voltage of UPQC is given according to optimum angle voltage injection on minimum total capacity. The initial phase of fundament component of source phase voltage and phase angle jump are based on the instantaneous reactive power and soft phase locked loop (SPLL) theory. The harmonic current is compensated by using self-adaptive fuzzy control technology which can improve harmonic current detection method on the shunt inverter. The experiment results are provided in order to verify the rationality of this control strategy.

This paper presents the summary of research involving two state Neural Network classifiers [4] specifically designed for the detection of fatigued state of a driver. Several physiological parameters such as Skin Conductance (SC) and Oximetry Pulse (OP) were considered individually as well as in combination, to design the fatigue classifiers using Multilayer Perceptron Neural Networks (MLP NN) with one and two hidden layers, and the Support Vector Machine (SVM). Performance analysis of the classifiers has been carried out using independent validation method and the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) method. Performance indicators used were Percentage Classification Accuracy (PCLA), Mean Square Error (MSE), Normalized MSE (NMSE), Area under ROC curve (AROC), Area under Convex Hull of ROC Curve (AHROC), Sensitivity (S), Specificity (R), Predictive Pre and Predictive Post. From the comparative analysis of the classifiers, it is evident that the two hidden layer MLP NN gives the best classification accuracy at hidden layer comprising of 65 and 80 Processing Elements (PE) respectively when the combined feature matrix of SC and OP was used as input to the network.

Web services composing technique presents the wonderful outlook of flexibly and agilely constructing the enterprise applications for us. In this paper, we analyze the Web services composing model and propose a new method of computing the service's QoS value solving the problem that the QoS properties have different trend. At the same time, we try to use the dijkstra algorithm to implement the optimal services composing path selecting and provide the formal description of the algorithm implementing the optimal path selecting process.

When the spectrum of multiplicative noise is overlapped with the spectrum of the true signal, the effect of noise elimination is bad using homomorphic filtering method. The principle of Fourier spectral subtraction is analyzed, and a new method of multiplicative noise elimination based on homomorphic filtering and Fourier spectral subtraction is proposed. Firstly transform the Multiplicative noise into additive noise by means of homomorphic transform, then subtract the spectrum of noise in frequency domain using nonlinear Fourier spectral subtraction, finally get the original signal through inverse discrete Fourier transform, linear filtering and exponential transform. The results of simulation experiment show that, compared with homomorphic filtering, the output signal with this method is more likely to the real signal, and SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) of output signal is improved remarkably, so it is a more effective method to eliminate the multiplicative noise.

Dynamic optimal power flow (DOPF) is a typical complex multi-constrained non-convex non-linear programming problem when considering the valve-point effect of conventional generators. Moreover, it is mixed integer when considering the discreteness of reactive compensation devices for power system with fixed speed wind generators (FSWGs). DOPF model is established in this paper, and then an improved particle swarm optimization (IPSO)is adopted for solving the established DOPF model. IEEE 39-bus system is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method compared with those obtained from particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The test results show that the proposed method is effective and has a certain practicality.
