Advances in technology and information today are the application of various sciences and the underlying science is mathematics. Mathematics is one of the basic provisions that are important to master in dealing with increasingly complex life problems. Through mastery of mathematics, it makes someone have good logical thinking in solving the problems at hand. In terms of responding to problems that arise, making decisions, and prioritizing appropriately, it is necessary to involve analytical skills and mathematical logic. However, many students do not know the application of mathematics in various disciplines. This community service activity is carried out in the form of an educational workshop with the theme Utilization of Mathematical Concepts in everyday life. The target of this community service activity is students from various study programs at the University of Qamarul Huda Badaruddin (UNIQHBA). Through this activity, it is hoped that it can contribute to the entire UNIQHBA academic community regarding the application of mathematics in various fields, especially culture, economics, and development, providing examples of skills related to mathematics so that they have more insight and are ready to compete in the world of work.

Pelaksanaan Asesmen Diagnostik: Tes Kepribadian Siswa Kelas VII di SMPN 4 Keruak 诊断评估的实施:SMPN 4皱纹七年级学生性格测试

SMPN 4 Keruak is one of the driving schools, with one of its programs namely learning with a new paradigm. To support the program, the community service team (PkM) conducted a diagnostic assessment. This is done with the aim of being the teacher's consideration in determining the appropriate teaching materials and learning methods to be used so that the information provided to students can be maximized. The diagnostic assessment carried out by the PkM team is a non-cognitive diagnostic assessment that focuses on knowing the type of personality possessed by class VII students of SMPN 4 Keruak. Student personality diagnostics is carried out using the AKU PINTAR application and web which is available on Android, students only need to fill out the test using a smartphone or laptop. The results obtained are that the dominant personality in class VII students of SMPN 4 Keruak is a combination of three personalities, namely dominance, influence, and steadiness. This means that students have a strong leadership spirit, tend to be nimble in acting and oriented to the future. By knowing the type of student personality, the teacher can arrange teaching materials and choose the right learning method to be used at the time of learning later.

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Melalui Workshop Peningkatan Pemahaman Guru Mengenai Pembelajaran Berbasis STEAM 通过教师对STEAM学习的增加理解工作坊对社区的奉献

The purpose of this community service is to improve teachers' understanding of STEAM learning. The problem faced by teachers is the lack of information on how to choose the context of STEAM learning, lack of event of sharing session with teachers who have implemented STEAM to teachers who want to carry out innovative learning. Teachers need training on STEAM based on the evaluation form that has been shared by the team before the STEAM workshop is held. It aims to identify problems, determine problem solutions, and determine the timing of activities. The stage of implementation of activities is carried out in the form of a model of lectures, discussions, and assignments. The material provided includes the definition of STEAM, STEAM social context and followed by sharing sessions by teachers who have implemented STEAM learning in schools. The result of this community service is that teachers can design learning evidenced by STEAM-based learning design tasks that have been collected by 24 teachers in google classroom. Participants' response to the implementation of activities is very good, participants hope that this kind of activity can be re-organized for the future.

OPS Sosialisasi Layanan Bimbingan Belajar Gratis di SD Negeri 173361 Sibandang Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara

Free tutoring services are one of the efforts to accelerate education acceleration programs in underdeveloped villages so that national education goals can be achieved. In this case, the service team from the University of HKBP Nommensen Medan together with students carried out socialization activities for free guidance services at the elementary school level located at SD Negeri 173361 Sibandang, Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency. The purpose of this activity was to find out problems related to learning during the covid-19 pandemic and their effects if the free tutoring service program was implemented. From the results of this socialization activity, it was found that the enthusiasm of students was fun because they received free tutoring services that they had never enjoyed before. This activity develops the motivation of the students in the school. The biggest hope of the students and teachers at the school is that this program can be sustainable in the future.

Pengembangan Profesi Guru Matematika Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran 数学教师职业发展提高学习质量

The purpose of this community service is to provide motivation and socialization about the innovative work of teachers, in connection with the obligations of professional teachers. The observations show that Mathematics teachers still need more in-depth guidance on PTK (Class Action Research), starting from making proposals, implementation in the classroom, and how to make PTK reports. Likewise with the activity of writing scientific papers, it seems that more intensive training is needed.

Bakti Sosial: UMKM Bangkit dari Pandemi COVID-19

Covid-19 pandemic impacts all aspects of Indonesians’ life. In 2021 MSMEs and street sellers in Jaten neighborhood, Karanganyar, Central Java affected by the pandemic are out of business. Some social-economic phenomena occur in which people lose their livelihood and people’s purchasing interest decreases affecting certain product and service commodities. Although the people are now adapting to new normal life, economic activities of MSMEs are still starting to get up. Responding to those conditions, we, a community service team consisting of the collaboration between academic communities, hold social service through distributing food staple packages to the MSME actors needing. The community service method used was participatory approach by involving the lecturers and students to distribute directly the food staple packages to the MSME actors in Jaten neighborhood, Karanganyar, implemented on independent initiative in Ramadhan month in 2021 for one day as scheduled. The distribution of food staple packages has run well and smoothly according to health protocol as appealed by the government. This community service activity is expected to relieve the burden of MSME actors who are affected directly by Covid-19 pandemic. This community service is supported fully by local village apparatuses, lecturers, and students involved, so that this activity can be implemented well.

Pelatihan pembuatan media interractive quiz menggunakan power point dan quiziz

Teachers are the main key in efforts to improve the quality of education. Improving and developing the professionalism of teachers in the 21st century, it can be done with ICT-based learning. One alternative is to make interactive quiz media using PowerPoint and quiziz. Making this media was chosen because some teachers have never evaluated learning using technology. Especially during the current pandemic conditions, teachers are expected to be more creative in providing subject matter and keep students enthusiastic about learning from home. With the implementation of this training, it is expected that teachers can master and utilize the PowerPoint media and quiziz application in providing learning evaluations. Based on the training that has been given, it is known that the participants are very interested and feel helped by this interactive quiz media creation training. It can be seen from the results of the evaluation of the questionnaire given at the last meeting, that 85% of the participants were very satisfied with the training provided.

Improving and developing the professionalism of teachers in the 21st century, it can be done with ICT-based learning. One alternative is to make interactive quiz media using PowerPoint and quiziz. Making this media was chosen because some teachers have never evaluated learning using technology. Especially during the current pandemic conditions, teachers are expected to be more creative in providing subject matter and keep students enthusiastic about learning from home. With the implementation of this training, it is expected that teachers can master and utilize the PowerPoint media and quiziz application in providing learning evaluations. Based on the training that has been given, it is known that the participants are very interested and feel helped by this interactive quiz media creation training. Pelatihan Persiapan Pembelajaran Geometri Bagi Guru Kelas Rendah Pada Program Organisasi Penggerak Propinsi NTT 省省助推器计划中较低水平教师的几何学习培训

The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) activity is to train lower grade elementary school teachers in the “Program Organisasi Penggerak (POP)” of East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) related to prepare teaching materials and methods of geometry based on four levels of learning activities according to Realistic Mathematics Education. The PkM team from Mathematics Education Study Program, Nusa Cendana University, collaborated with the POP coordinator so that there were nine lower grade teachers and Principal of Elementary School who actively participated. This activity was carried out through two phases: preparation and implementation. In the preparatory phase, an initial survey through the work of several questions and unstructured interviews was carried out in order to obtain data that became the basis for implementation phase. For the implementation phase, activities were carried out classically for two days in the network. Discussion, question-answer and hands-on practice were the methods used during the implementation phase. There were 5 sub topics discussed in this phase. The characteristics geometry and some concepts of solid geometry on the first day, meanwhile some others topics about plane geometry on the second day. The results of the evaluation indicate that this training has succeeded in achieving the purpose.

Pelatihan Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Bahasa Inggris Pebelajar Muda di Kampung English Desa Temulus Kabupaten Kudus

Teaching English to young learners has been a concern of language teaching experts over the last decade in non-English speaking countries. Teaching English in this context should have a positive impact on young learners' English mastery according to the child's age development if teaching simple vocabulary and grammar are taught using songs and games. The use of these two media according to Chou's (2012) research has a positive impact because songs can make it easier for children to memorize vocabulary, while the use of games can increase positive attitudes to participate in learning. Therefore, teaching English with this media is trained for English teachers in Kampung English, Temulus Village, Kudus Regency with the aim of making English learning more fun, interesting, and motivating for students.

Pelatihan Pengolahan Data Menggunakan Minitab Bagi Pegawai Fungsional Perencana 数据处理培训使用Minitab为功能策划人员

The purpose of this community service is to test the effectiveness of the data processing workshop using minitab for functional planning officers.This workshop was held on April 14, 2022 at BAPPEDA KLU. This workshop was attended by 10 participants. The workshop method is lecturing statistical material and data processing practice using minitab. As for comparing the average pre-test and post-test scores of participants, the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test method was used. The test results show z count = 21.00, while it is known that the value of  z table = z (1-0.05) = 1.64. z count > z table, it means that the average post-test score is significantly higher than the average pre-test score or in other words, community service in the form of training has an effect on the data processing capabilities of planning functional employees at BAPPEDA KLU
