Education is an important aspect in development as it strengthens nations and empowers people thus making it critical to Kenya’s attainment of Vision 2030. Education benefits society, communities, and individuals across the globe. Today, there is a high number of student mothers in institutions of higher learning whereby the demands in academic pursuit conflicts with motherhood responsibilities thus affecting their academic performance. Despite the existence of guidelines and policies on return to school, student mothers continue to face challenges in pursuit for education. The aim of this study was to examine determinants of schooling challenges, coping mechanisms and the support accorded to student mothers in their pursuit for higher education. The study adopted role conflict theory. A cross-sectional survey research design was used for this study. The study population was 360 student mothers. Simple random sampling procedure was used to obtain a sample size of 101 respondents. The data was collected using interview schedules and semi structured questionnaires. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. From the study findings, 80% of the respondents reported that economic challenge was a hindrance to academic performance. The findings indicated that 92% of the respondents had time management hurdle with respect to lecture attendance, co- curricular activities, childcare responsibilities, and domestic chores, academic trips, taking the child to clinic, assignments submission, academic group discussions and academic trainings. About 96% of respondents agreed that they received family support to meet day to day expenses while learning. From the study findings this study proposes the loan award criteria by HELB should be revised to incorporate student mothers as special group of loan applicants. Greater institutional and family support should be encouraged in order to strengthen positive coping mechanisms by student mothers in dealing with unavailability of adequate financial and family support.

Fairy has a special place in Iranian popular literature, whether it is a remnant of the pre-Aryan goddess or a beautiful and well-liked character of the Iranians against the Indian deities. In Indian mythology, ostriches are depicted as Fairies living in springs or seas, and in the arid land of Iran, a fairy with water is seen in the names of places and springs. The Fairy is considered to be opposite to the demon, but there are hints that classify the two as one and distinguish them on the basis of sex, or good and evil, and recognize fairies as the identical source of the demon and the Fairy, and at least, He knows the fairy comes out of the air and water. This descriptive-analytical study has examined the reflection of the word Fairy in Iranian geographical letters and Persian poetry and proverbs, and has identified three attitudes: the confrontation of a Fairy with a male demon, the kindness and guidance of a Fairy, and its continuity. With water and fertility, while honoring Indo-Iranian ideas and dissimilarity to Zoroastrian thought, it has reflected the collective unconscious need of Iranians to increase fertility in their agricultural life; Witchcraft, intimidation, and other misdeeds of Fairies are also associated with the beliefs of Zoroastrian Iranians, who despise pre-Zoroastrian ideas and portray Fairies as enchanting, enchanting, ugly, and unholy. The beauty of Fairy in the Islamic period, while honoring the ideas of Madaistan Perikani, is based on the humiliation of Zoroastrian ideas. Findings show that these three approaches are seen in Iranian literature and culture and the second approach in the poem "Fairy" includes, and the approach of sanctity of fairies and their connection with water in non-random registrations of places. The multiplicity of the name Peri in Azerbaijan, Kurdistan and Lorestan indicates the protection of the ancient pre-Zoroastrian rituals, the struggle against drought and the idea of honoring agriculture, water and development.

Since politicians make use of language in their quest to garner support and credibility, among other things, many coercive strategies are utilized by recourse to some manipulative avenues. These same coercive strategies happen in the matrix of a peculiar socio-cultural environment independently from ideologies and common or shared goals. The latter claims make this paper’s focus manifold. Kamala Harris, the vice US President, opted for a number of stabilizing, as it seems, linguistic choices of diction, and thus messages to yield an automatic effect at a time of crisis. This research, in view of this, applies of qualitative method to analyze Harris’s victory speech while implementing van Dijk’s framework adopted from politics, ideology and discourse. In order to attain persuasive ends, some ideological macro-strategies have been widely invested in the speech like emphasizing Our Good things, de-emphasizing Their Bad things and so forth. Shaping public opinion has, thus, been coercively perceived via some ideological discourse categories like lexicalization, consensus and counterfactuals. Results show that coercive discourse has a stabilizing effect and is significantly linked to ideologies and political quibbles dissident from her predecessors. Results also show that coercion is endemic in political discourse and is overtly swinging in various directions to meet many ends.

This study acknowledges that women participation in bee keeping is still low despite the initiatives and programs by the government and non-governmental organizations to have women participate in bee keeping in Baringo South Sub- County. The study identified that one of the factors blamed in low participation of women in bee farming in most developing countries is gender roles. This is particularly evident in male dominated societies. The study therefore sought to determine the influence of gender roles on women participation in Bee Keeping in Baringo South Sub- County. The study collected data from 128 women sampled from women engaged in bee farming in the sub-county. Data was collected through research questionnaires with closed ended questions that were self-administer by the researcher. The study revealed that gender roles had a significant influence on women participation in beekeeping. Women had huge gender roles that hampered their participation in beekeeping. The study also revealed that the high burden of gender roles on women presented itself in forms such as childrearing, household chores, income generating activities, provision of labour (paid and unpaid) and community development roles, influence female participation in bee keeping. The study recommends that gender roles should not be assigned according to biological and cultural stereotyping in order to create time for women to participate in bee keeping. Greater load with gender roles reduces women participation in beekeeping. Promotion of time saving technologies for household chores could go a long way in creating the much needed time necessary for women participation in beekeeping.

The COVID-19 pandemic directly impacts workers, which causes them to experience layoffs (PHK). So there is a need for a solution to the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic for workers who have been laid off. This article aims to analyze the views of labour law on layoffs due to the direct effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive analysis with a normative juridical approach. This article concludes that educational institutions are needed to empower workers affected by layoffs due to the impact of COVID-19, considering that educational institutions have a significant contribution during or after the COVID-19 pandemic. Strategies that are planned to achieve the goals of these educational institutions will be achieved if the system that is intended to achieve these goals are not due to an accident but by plan is accompanied by good planning, control, design and executive education to be able to produce competitive graduates apart from being relevant in the job market. Creating their job opportunities, ready-to-use, ready-to-sell, ready-to-use and independent graduates, a life skill-based education system, which equips the skills to be willing, dare to face life and life problems during or after the COVID-19 pandemic. Fair without feeling depressed even proactively, creatively, innovatively looking for and finding solutions so that they can face problems during or after the COVID-19 pandemic. The concept of life skills in question is life skills that are broader than just skills for work or not just manual skills but self-awareness skills, personal skills, thinking skills. Rational (thinking skills), social skills, academic skills, vocational skills can explore 8 (eight) intelligence: Linguistic intelligence, Logical-mathematical intelligence, Intelligence, Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, Musical intelligence, Interpersonal intelligence, Intrapersonal intelligence, Natural intelligence. With competencies in the form of 8 (eight) intelligence as described above, workers who have been laid off due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic have the potential to earn a decent income, which is one of the main assets in Indonesia's economic development.

The ethics of human enhancement technology are highly controversial. The purpose of this paper is to provide an ethical justification for the genetic enhancement technology and then extend it to the ethical feasibility of other human enhancement technologies. According to the customs of most countries in the world, the age of 18 is generally regarded as the threshold of adulthood. Non-adults under 18 can be divided into the embryonic period from the fertilized egg to the eighth week and the growing period from the ninth week to the age of 18. Genetic enhancement in embryonic period has been criticized by a series of ethical charges with "germline change" as the core. Although genetic enhancement in the growing period avoids the critical opinion of "germline change", it is still criticized by a series of ethical charges with "human-nature change" as the core. Genetic enhancement in the adulthood will successfully avoid the two fatal charges of “germline change” and “human-nature change”, while responding well to other ethical charges. The conclusion of this paper is that adult gene enhancement is ethically feasible, and further application of other adult human enhancement techniques is also ethically feasible.

The goal of this paper is to emphasize many objective weak points of the organization of the city of Mostar, which, however, were the reason for marking Mostar as a ''hopless case city. ''In order to prove his hypothesis, the author bases his research on the Dayton Peace Agreement, as well as on the fact that the two cantons: the Herzegovina-Neretva canton, in which Mostar is situated, and the Middle-Bosnia canton, in which Travnik is situated, were called mixed cantons, and that those two cities should have been organized in the same way. Nevertheless, the international community focused only on Mostar. Additional difficulties were caused by enforced transitional Statute of the High Representative Paddy Ashdown, with which six municipalites (three Bosnian and three Croatian) were abolished, which resulted in aproximatelly 1000 people losing their jobs. Based on these facts and their consequences, the author proves his hypothesis using research methods of deep interview. Additionally, the author researches the time passed in Mostar in mutual conflicts between the Croats, who consider Mostar as their only big city due to the fact that all important institutions are situated there (the only University in Croatian language, the theatre, archives, the hospital, etc.) and the Bosnians, who consider Mostar as the basis for the existence of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During that time of mutual conflicts and fresh war wounds, the Mayor could not be elected for the twelve years. Not only did the author witness the war, but he also witnessed the post-war events in the city of Mostar. The elections for the Mayor were held in 2020, but there were many irregularities seen during the elections. Accordingly, if everything is taken into consideration, there is no justified reason for marking Mostar as a ''hopless case city.''

Currently, increasing numbers of young teachers are inclined to conduct teaching tasks via mobile phones, and therefore, in case the classroom equipment failure occurs, a mobile-phone-oriented classroom equipment repair management system needs to be developed to facilitate teachers. In addition, this kind of repair management system is also very critical for the department where interchange and renewal of the maintenance personnel often take place, for it can ignore personnel changes, and send information directly to a public mailbox of the department. In this way, on receiving the relevant message, the maintenance person on duty can respond accordingly. Thus, it can improve the maintenance efficiency and reduce the work pressure of technical staff as well. The equipment repair management system in this study adopts double line system: teachers can either choose to apply for repair from the system or directly communicate with the technician on duty via Wechat. The management of multimedia classroom is very trivial and burdensome, and title promotion for personnel in the modern education technology center is difficult, thus, there is a high turnover rate accordingly. Whereas, the use of this management system can make the maintenance demand of the classroom directly sent to the public mailbox reserved by the system. In this way, only the public mailbox needs to be handed over to the new staff, and the maintenance information can be received by all the maintenance personnels on duty at the same time, so that the teaching procedure will be guaranteed and therefore, various kinds of teaching and reform activities can carry out smoothly.
