This article relates to the investigation Trazos de vida urbana en la ciudad de Manizales anos 1920-30 (Traces of urban life in the Colombian city of Manizales between 1920 and 1930). Here we refer to the urban ornament as a strategic purpose of redesigning the city according to civilizing and progress canons inherent in modernity and, in that case, the new social classes. Europe was the referent to adopt no only the republican architecture but also to modify the urban layout and a new way of inhabiting the city. In the 1920s, Manizales did not escape these processes, but events such as the fires, the attitude of the social agents and the fascistic forms made them worthy of particular attention. The method utilized based on urban cultural history with contributions from Almandoz, Romero and Uribe.

Reseña analítica de: Metropolitan goverment and governance in western countries: A Critical Review (Lefèvre, C., 1998). Desde hace más de medio siglo, varios factores han dado pie para que la discusión del concepto del gobierno metropolitano, en términos generales, favorezca la idea de la nueva institucionalidad basada en la legitimidad política, el otorgamiento de autonomía a diferentes escalas de poder, el amplio rango jurisdiccional y la gran comprensión territorial. A partir de los nuevos arreglos institucionales propuestos por el modelo, se emplazan los supra municipales y los intra municipales, cada uno diferenciado por el grado de autoridad dentro de la estructura metropolitana. Por otra parte, están los grupos de presión social, considerados otra escala de la estructura territorial, que pueden llegar a no aceptar la estructura funcional metropolitana. Aunque resulte una visión más holística, el nuevo Modelo de Gobernanza está sujeto a los tradicionales problemas político-institucionales y al "clima económico actual".

The TPACK model intends to group the types of knowledge that teachers need to master in order to integrate ICT into the classroom appropriately. The article aimed to know the students' perception of the ICT competencies of mathematics teachers in the context of the TPACK framework. The study used the quantitative approach with a descriptive-comparative analysis, which allowed to assess the dimensions of knowledge according to the TPACK model. Regarding results, the description of relationships established according to the TPACK knowledge domains enable the comprehension of the level of competencies of the mathematics teacher concerning the integration of ICT in their educational practice. Emphasis was placed on the importance of technological knowledge and its articulation in the classroom within the process of teaching and learning mathematics.

The article exposed how the Executive power acquires a special role in guaranteeing constitutional rights of the person from the transformations of the state model. On this basis, the constitution demands that the Administration and the Government comply the constitutional postulates fully. Nevertheless, in reality, the Executive does not wholly adheres to the constitutional norm. Consequently, this article aimed, through legal analysis, to take concepts from the constitutional law to create the basis for good government and good governance. Those principles come to confront the erroneous tasks of the governance and the government. They also allow the actions of both the administration and the government to be directed towards the protection of the person, which is their primary purpose.

In Colombia, the right to a pension, in any modality, is one of the mechanisms for guaranteeing the right to social security. In order to determine which pension regimes are more suited to the social and labor reality of the country’s people with disabilities, Colombian legislation and jurisprudence were reviewed through an exploratory-descriptive study method. It was found that this right gives special treatment to that population. Colombian legislation regulates at least ten kinds of pensions for this group of people with special constitutional protection.

This paper presents a conceptual discussion focused on the basic vision of science and technology, which is the primary purpose and reference framework of the produced United Nations’ documents and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. The most important intention and the objective of these documents is the technology transfer, which carries a risk of not recognizing other technological options—such as eco-technology—and the limited role representing science and innovation in the achievement of these Sustainable Development Goals. We focused on the broader aspects of international patent law approaches that approximate to incentives of technological transfer and innovation process. This article contributes to the theoretical overview of patent law in the application process of intellectual property use in the international context. In conclusion, we discussed, according to the literature review, the possibility of maintaining the environment by considering technological transfer and innovation process as solutions for world disasters. Sustainable development goals are proposed for the same prevention, which should be clear for every country in the world.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión de literatura relacionada con el trabajo emocional, analizando sus principales conceptualizaciones, tendencias en investigación e investigadores destacados. La revisión se sustenta en búsquedas exhaustivas en revistas especializadas en el trabajo emocional y comportamiento organizacional, así como en libros y artículos nacionales. Examinar la relación del trabajo emocional con los resultados de la organización es especialmente necesario, porque una de las razones primarias por las que las organizaciones requieren el trabajo emocional es que la expresión emocional tiene una fuerte influencia en el comportamiento de las ventas y el desempeño organizacional. Finalmente, la temática de trabajo emocional ha sido poco explorada en el campo de investigación del comportamiento y la psicología organizacional, y puede ser abordada multidimensionalmente desde factores tanto individuales como organizacionales.

El objetivo de este artículo es caracterizar la situación de pobreza en Chile según la métrica de la perspectiva multidimensional. Como resultados se obtuvieron que a nivel general las carencias están más acentuadas en zonas rurales y que se agudizan al utili-zar indicadores multinivel. Desde este enfoque, los indicadores de mayor precariedad y relevancia son educación, trabajo y vivienda. Se plantea que pese a la precariedad económica y el acceso restringido de bienes y servicios en los medios rurales, estos continúan siendo un espacio donde las manifestaciones de solidaridad y de bienestar subjetiva alcanzan mayor intensidad respecto a la ciudad. Se concluye que, no obstante las reconocidas limitaciones de la incipiente perspectiva multidimensional, este nuevo enfoque diversifica analíticamente y aporta mayor densidad a la comprensión y abor-daje de la pobreza en Chile.

Este artículo presenta los resultados de la investigación “Agenciamientos y estrategias de empoderamiento socio-jurídico en mujeres con jefatura de hogar, en situación de pobreza y vulnerabilidad social”, cuyo objetivo consistió en develar los sentidos que emergen en un grupo de mujeres con jefatura de hogar, en el municipio de Manizales, expuestas a contextos de pobreza y vulnerabilidad social, a partir de la capacidad de agencia que despliegan frente a las condiciones sociales y jurídicas que las rodean. El enfoque de tipo hermenéutico, se llevó a cabo mediante la aplicación de técnicas como la observación participante, entrevistas semi-estructuradas y talleres narrativos con las mujeres participantes. Para la interpretación de dicha información se aplicó el análisis cualitativo de contenido ACC, el cual permitió develar los sentidos dados por dichas mujeres, respecto a sus condiciones de pobreza y vulnerabilidad social y su capacidad de agencia para transformar dichas condiciones. Los hallazgos relacionados con sus agenciamientos socio-jurídicos, se agrupan en cuatro tipos: la cultura del cuidado, la convivencia, desempoderamiento jurídico y tecnología de gobierno. Todos se relacionan con configuraciones sociales determinadas por contextos de pobreza y por relaciones de gubernamentalidad que restringen el desarrollo humano y bienestar de estas mujeres.

El enfoque de tipo hermenéutico, se llevó a cabo mediante la aplicación de técnicas como la observación participante, entrevistas semi-estructuradas y talleres narrativos con las mujeres participantes. Para la interpretación de dicha información se aplicó el análisis cualitativo de contenido ACC, el cual permitió develar los sentidos dados por dichas mujeres, respecto a sus condiciones de pobreza y vulnerabilidad social y su capacidad de agencia para transformar dichas condiciones. Los hallazgos relacionados con sus agenciamientos socio-jurídicos, se agrupan en cuatro tipos: la cultura del cuidado, la convivencia, desempoderamiento jurídico y tecnología de gobierno.
