As a new favourite in the digital age, the emergence of QR codes has brought great convenience to human life. The QR codes symbols composed of geometric figures have the ability to carry meaning. Based on Peirce's semiotics, this study explores the relationship between the referents of QR codes, the derivation of signifier process and the communication process. The research finds that: (1) Icon, index and symbol are in a dynamic relationship; (2) The derivation of of signifier process of QR codes depends on the "interpretant"; (3) The communication process of QR codes is mostly culture-based. Through the interpretation of QR codes, this study aims to deepen people's understanding of QR codes and to help them better interpret the meanings implied by QR codes.

: Chongqing has been committed to building the image of a famous historical and cultural city, but these positioning is far from enough for the development of a city. Not only because of its historical background, it is simply positioned as a famous historical and cultural city. There are countless such cities in the country and the world. That's something to really think about. The development of urbanization process provides more opportunities for the construction and development of the city, and the image of Chongqing has been constantly exploring and innovating since its direct administration. Based on social media, social media advertising breaks through the publicity and interaction of traditional advertising. Based on the perspective of social media, this paper takes social media advertising as a breakthrough point to conduct a new study on the development and communication of Chongqing city image. This paper analyzes the current situation of international communication of Chongqing city image, and puts forward strategic suggestions on the problems in international communication of Chongqing city image in social media, so as to improve the overall city image and enhance the comprehensive strength of Chongqing city in the fierce urban competition.

: As a common means of political propaganda in China, slogans effectively convey information in a short and eye-catching form. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019, slogans have played a major role in alleviating influence of the epidemic. This paper will explore the language characteristics of China's "anti-epidemic slogan" with the theory of Cooperation Principle and Politeness Principle. At the same time, combined with the current situation of Chinese society, it will analyze the "hardcore slogan", a controversial topic, and comprehensively and objectively state why this is necessar. Therefore, it will be able to emphasize the importance of the Chinese traditional core of culture and grass-root culture to language used in propaganda, while helping the outside world to view China's "hardcore slogan" more objectively.

: With the development of media technology, the media has become more and more focused on the visual turn, even facing “visual hegemony “. Academics and industry have begun to call for a return to aural culture. In the history of communication, the auditory turn is no longer a novelty. In this article, we look at the theories and perspectives on the auditory turn in the history of communication through three aspects: the tradition of hearing culture, the classification of auditory texts, and the contemporary value of hearing culture, in the hope that it can contribute to existing research and promote a balance of the senses in an intelligent media society.

: The development and progress of science and technology plays an important role in the process of media evolution. The emergence of new media reflects different social environment and scientific and technological level. The emergence of new media has subverted the old content, mode and effect of information dissemination to some extent, and also set off a wave of media integration. This paper intends to start with the superior experience of the developed areas of media integration in the east, compare the growth of media integration in the campus environment in the west, and take Ningxia polytechnic as an example to explore the innovative path of media integration in the campus.

: ‘Gaze’ as an important sociological concept has long been a hot topic of discussion among feminists. With the development of feminism, the ‘female gaze’ has gradually attracted more and more people's attention. This article uses Ding Zhen as a case to analyse how the popularity of Ding Zhen reflects the inversion of gaze and what effect does this have on social media as a public sphere. This article argues that the women’s appreciation of his looks led directly to his popularity. He becomes the object of the female gaze. On the one hand, the power of female enhances the equality of the public sphere. Women take control of discourse by consuming and reverse the traditional power relations between the sexes and propose new standards for men by the female gaze. On the other hand, the resulting negative discourse undermines the harmony and rationality of the public sphere. The objectification of everyone is not the equality we seek. This article provides a useful case study for research on the female gaze.

: The current global outbreak of the New Coronavirus, the resurgence of Cold War thinking, the heightened sense of hostility between g nations, the worsening Russian-Ukrainian war, and increased regional integration have led to unprecedented challenges to the economic globalization that has improved the lives of billions of people around the world. Globalization has brought countries closer and more interdependent politically and economically, and the rapid growth of economic globalization has facilitated the emergence of regional organizations such as the North American Free Trade Area (NAFTA) and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). But it has also set off a wave of discontent with globalization, the rise of populist ideology, the outbreak of pandemics, the US-China trade war, and the Russo-Ukrainian war have all exacerbated the trend towards de-globalization. This paper will examine the impact of globalization in terms of the effects of the spread of pandemics on states and economies and the impact of competition between powerful states on globalization, as well as the question of whether de-globalization is a threat to globalization.

PPT-based structured collegial evaluation debriefing is one of the most common forms of debriefing, and PPT plays an important role in the success of debriefing. Content design is the core of this kind of PPT design, and the current academic research on the design strategy of this kind of PPT is relatively lacking, and the research on content design is even more inadequate. This paper combines the design practice, from thinking about the native attributes of PPT, summarizes the characteristics of PPT, judges and reporting environment in structured collegial evaluation activities, and puts forward the basic process of this type of PPT design and targeted design strategies, with a view to improving the design efficiency of this type of PPT.

Within the realm of traditional media, news reporting predominantly relies on textual content and photographs, requiring the audience to decipher and extract information from the media. However, immersive journalism goes beyond this approach by enriching the audience's understanding and involvement in the news through interactive and multi-dimensional methods, effectively integrating them with the news text. Sudden events, characterized by their complexity, suddenness, and unpredictability, swiftly capture widespread attention. Augmenting the audience's immersion in these events not only deepens their comprehension of the overall event, but also triggers emotional resonance. By immersing the audience in the scene, casting them as "witnesses" or "participants" rather than mere "observers" of the news, they undergo a distinctive experience that encompasses a profound perception of the news scene, its sounds, and the emotions and feelings it evokes.[1]

By analysing the current communication process and existing problems of rapid transport advertising under the background of New Media, it can be shown that it's an inevitable choice for rapid transport advertising to change under the New Media environment. By following the general trends of creativity development to integrate the innovations of New Media into rapid transport advertising, the two-way communication between advertisers and their audience can be achieved through interactive advertisement experience, thus reaching their full effect. Therefore, in the New Media environment, rapid transport advertising must establish effective interactive mechanisms, accurately position their products, focus on content development, understand and grasp the needs of their audience, which is not only the best way to bring the brand closer to their audience, but also the countermeasures against the current problems.
