Common Sensing and Analyses to Visualize a Production Process with Parallelly Utilized Resource - Job-Shop and Flow-Shop Cases 并行利用资源的生产过程可视化的共同感知与分析——作业车间和流程车间案例

This paper presented a common system of the automated sensing and analysis for major 2 types of manufacturing format; the flow-shop type and the job-shop type. About sensing, electrical signal from production equipment and/or tools were the main target of a general-purpose sensing. In particular, applications of a data logger are introduced. About analysis, discussion in this paper was focused on the classification of status of production resource, detection of its change in time-series, and so on. Some quantitative analyses, such a clustering , are required to be combined. In addition, the key performance indicator (KPI) was also developed for better visualization. We present KPI of “throughput yield” for the flow-shop, and "Parallel utilization index (PUI)" for the job-shop. All those have been evaluated by some numerical experiments for small and middle-sized companies of the Ibaraki IoT-Robot study group.

Double-Loop Controller Tuning Based Fictitious Reference Iterative Tuning (FRIT) for Unmanned Ground Vehicle 基于虚拟参考迭代整定(FRIT)的无人地面车辆双环控制器整定

This paper proposes on a tuning method for unmanned ground vehicle on heading control with application to the agriculture. The objective is to control the heading of a vehicle for lane tracking in the terrain environment under the unpredictable and unstructured disturbance. The controller for vehicle heading is based upon a double-loop control structure; the inner loop performs the steering system control and the outer loop archives vehicle's heading control. During travelling in the terrain field and the variation of speed, it is not easy to tune the parameters such that it satisfies the desired transient response. Thus, the paper proposes a method for ground vehicle heading tuning with a double-loop control structure by using fictitious reference iterative tuning (FRIT) for heading control so that the performance response matches with the desired response by using only one-shot experimental input-output data. The simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method, comparing to the conventional method.

Search for the Optimal Charging Pattern of Multi-stage Constant Current Charging Method Using Particle Swarm Optimization 基于粒子群优化的多级恒流充电方法的最优充电方式研究

In this study, particle swarm optimization method is adopted to search the optimal charging pattern of the multi-stage constant current charging method. The proposed uses only the equivalent model of the lithium-ion battery; hence, time-consuming experiments can be avoided. The presented study takes both the charging time and temperature rise into account. Comparing with CC-CV method, the average temperature rise can be improved by 42.1 % and the charging time can be shortened by 18.4 %.

Developing the Immersion Virtual Reality Platform Based on Experiential Learning Cycle - Using Fire Disaster Prevention Education as an Example 基于体验式学习周期的沉浸式虚拟现实平台开发——以火灾防灾教育为例

Learners' motivation is usually a necessary condition for successful learning process and it is positively correlated with the characteristics of the design of the game, such as goals, rules, competition, challenge, fantasy and fun. In this study, an immersive virtual reality device, HTC Vive, was developed as a learning tool for fire disaster prevention education. It is a digital game-based learning system which was developed based on the design principles of EFM model and the learning theorem of experimental learning cycle. The results show that more than 70% of students believe that using the platform of virtual reality can increase learning interest and is helpful for learning. It not only enhances students' motivation to learn disaster prevention literacy, but also provides interests of exploring knowledge of fire response. Finally, this study provides suggestions on this kind of learning programs.

This study explored how to enable learners to generate temporary situational interest during teaching and learning so as to influence their learning effectiveness, changes in interest, and learning behavior. One of the factors to improve situational interest lies in sensory stimulation targeting at the feeling to the environment. Therefore, this study introduced virtual reality (VR) into education to improve learners' situational interest and even turn situational interest into fixed personal interests. The design of research structure is described as follows: This study introduced VR to the education of historic sites, from the viewpoint of learners, explored the reasons for the generation and change of interest in learning, hoped to enable learners to naturally improve their learning effectiveness, and utilized virtual reality, an emerging technology, to aid education.

Design and Development of a Subtitle Summarization System for Vocabulary Learning 词汇学习字幕摘要系统的设计与开发

Videos are good for learning vocabulary, since they present the vocabulary in the context of natural dialogs. However, general videos do not provide good supports for language learners. This paper presents a subtitle summarization system, which is designed for vocabulary learning. The system can help a learner watch only meaningful scenes that contain the suitable vocabulary. Using the system, a learner can acquire vocabulary more efficiently since the suitable vocabulary is extracted based on the learning level of the learner. To investigate whether the system enhances learning efficiency or not, an evaluation experiment was conducted. The learning efficiency means the score of vocabulary test compared to the length of the learning time. Experimental participants were intermediate-level learners studying Japanese. They were divided into two groups: the experimental group with our system and control group with a system by a previous work. However, though our system seemed to be more advantageous, the result of the experiment showed no significant difference between two groups. The considerable reason for this result is that the summarization feature of the system is not effective enough since the contexts of the video contents are not considered when the system extracts subtitles containing the suitable vocabulary.

Proposal of Secure Business Architecture by Visible Light Communication System 基于可见光通信系统的安全业务架构的提出

Progress in visible light technology has provided increased opportunities for new mobile communication infrastructure and business creation using visible light communication. This paper proposes a secure business architecture through collaboration of technologies in visible light communication, public key cryptography, and power line communication. Moreover, it presents an evaluation on the technology's effectiveness using a concrete business architecture. This model using visible light communication gives an "optical attestation ID" to the source of LED light, and it is characterized by strict position authentication that enciphers these data using public key infrastructure (PKI). Furthermore, the network between the server for distributing the optical authentication ID and the LED light source enables high security using power line communication. Thus, we achieved a secure business architecture using visible light communication, one that can contribute to the creation of new business such as optical electronic value trading platforms, optical digital signage, and optical Fintech.

SNS as Means of Information Gathering 作为信息收集手段的SNS

In late years, the use of social media and social networking service (SNS) is prevailing with the increase of the smartphone users. Although various media exit, social media, particularly SNS rapidly increased the number of the users. As a characteristic of SNS, every user can share or diffuse information in real time with casual message postings. There are more than several hundred kinds of SNS, and the popularity is clear. Facebook has the largest number of the users in the world, and it is more than 20 billion. In addition, there are twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, and etc. the usage of SNS and the characteristic of users are changing every day. SNS is the newest tool in the history of information gathering. This is because appearance of the Internet decreased the number of the users which use other media and developed search engines and WEB browsers which enable people to access to information more easily. Moreover, interactive information dispatch, so-called social media, made information-sharing dramatically faster than before. The latest information dispatch tool is SNS. In this study, after organizing the existing SNS of varying scales, with the analysis, I am going to submit a problem and issues of SNS as information gathering tools.

Multifaceted Workshops to Envision the Future of Open Science With Society 展望开放科学与社会的未来的多方面研讨会

This paper details three multifaceted workshops that were held in Japan to envision the future co-evolution of open science and transdisciplinary research theories. A method of unconference, in which participants decide topics of group talk for themselves, was applied in every workshop with a sequential improvement. The first and third workshops comprised eleven research experts of environmental sciences and informatics as participants, while the second workshop was attended by 37 participants who represented research communities, libraries, central and local governments, industries, and non-profit organizations. These workshops highlighted the necessity to conventionalize open research data policies in the context of each research domain. It seems that vague anxiety against unintended use might obstruct the promotion of open research data. There are two functions of citizen science-the co-development of data infrastructure and the actions for social transformation. The deliberation also revealed the importance of bridging agents who facilitate the bidirectional interaction of knowledge systems between research communities and other societal sectors were essential. A capacity building of bridging agents was demanded.
