The purpose of this research was to describe the effect of concept sentence cooperative model on the 3rd grade student’s skill of paragraph writing in SD Cendekia Sidoarjo. The research method used was quantitative experimental method with true-experimental design. The research design used was posttest only control design. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. Technique of data collecting used was paragraph writing test. Technique of data analysis used in this research was normality test (Shapiro wilk test), balance test (F formula), and hypothesis test (independent sample t-test). The result of this research showed that there was effect of concept sentence cooperative model on the 3rd grade student’s skill of paragraph writing in SD Cendekia Sidoarjo. Based on the comparison with thitung and ttabel is 3,307 > 2,012.

This study aims to find out (1) making worksheets based on scientific inquiry worksheets (2) worksheets based on scientific investigations. The Development Model in this study is the research and development carried out by Borg and Gall in Haryati (2012) covering Research and Data Collection (Research and information gathering), Planning (planning), Early Product Development (Developing premilinary form products), Field Trial Beginning (Premilinary Field Test), Product Revision, I Field Test, Phase II Product Revision, Field Trial, Final Product Revision, Dissemination and Implementation. The study was conducted in semester II of class V with a total of 21 students. Data collection in this study uses validation worksheets based on scientific investigations, student response questionnaires, interviews. The results of developing scientific inquiry based worksheets are validity and practicality. The validity level of the worksheet based on scientific investigation is accepted by the validity criteria 73.75% in the trial is limited and declared valid. The practicality level of scientific inquiry based worksheets has high practicality criteria. In the limited trial obtained the final value of practicality (P) = 3.55 and in the field trials met the practicality criteria (P) = 3.54. These results indicate the Worksheet (worksheet) is feasible to use.

The thematic approach must be implemented at all levels of education in the learning process for elementary school, junior high school and senior high school. This is something that is important for teachers, one of which is elementary school teachers to be able to carry out a thematic approach as a professional responsibility. In addition to implementing a thematic approach, elementary school teachers must also always innovate in implementing the education process. This study was conducted with the following objectives: 1) analyzing elementary school teachers 'understanding of the thematic approach, 2) obtaining a profile of elementary school teachers' ability to innovate in the learning process with a thematic approach, and 3) knowing the obstacles of teachers in implementing thematic approaches in elementary school. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with research subjects from grade 1 to grade 6 students in five elementary schools in Blora District, Blora Regency, collected by observation and interview. Triangulation is done through focus group discussions between researchers, teachers, and school principals. The results showed that conceptually the teacher understood the thematic approach well, but in its implementation 24 of the 30 teachers studied did not innovate in the learning process

This research aims to develop STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics) based teaching material of electrical material for primary schools. This RD Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The instruments used are documentation, expert validation sheet, interview sheet, and feasibility test. Based on the first stage of the development; curriculum analysis, materials, and teaching materials, the second stage; specification of teaching materials design, the third stage; content analysis trhough construct validation with percentage value; 97% of the first material validator, 80% of second material validator, 82% of media validator, and 92% of language validator. The test was done to the small and huge scales of the sixth grade elementary school students with each average value was 96% and 99%. As the teaching materials user, teachers’ testing response was conducted at the fourth stage with the average value of 100%. Based on the results above, it can be summed up that the STEM – based teaching materials with high feasibility can be used for learning teaching materials.

This research is aimed to (1) develop contextual-learning-based self-assessment components and instruments, (2) investigate the quality of the developed instruments. This development research applied the procedures developed by Borg & Gall. The validity of the instruments employed the content validity with Aiken’ V formula, while the reliability of the instruments employed Cronbach Alpha. The development of the instruments produces learning topics and assessment instruments along with the rubrics. The expert judgment shows that the products are categorized ‘Good’. The content validity is categorized ‘Valid’. The reliability of the instruments is categorized ‘Reliable’ with Cronbach Alpha > 0.7 and the instruments are practical.

Abstract The lack of media in thematic learning underlies this study. This study aims at developing KARTIK (Thematic Card), and specifically describes, (1) steps of KARTIK media development, (2) feasibility of KARTIK according to experts, (3) students' responses to the KARTIK media. Drawing upon the notions developed by this Research and Development consisted of seven stages, namely collecting information, planning, developing preliminary product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, and revision. The subjects in this study were 10 graders of Grojogan Public Elementary School in limited trial and 30 students in the main trial. Questionnaires were used for data collection, and the data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive. The KARTIK media was developed through seven steps, namely determining the theme, designing card, designing content, designing user manual, designing card box, expert validation , and product trial . The results showed that the KARTIK media was appropriate for use for grade II primary school students. Media experts score 86 (very good), material experts score 42 (good), and learning experts score 40 (good). The Students responses were 96.92% (very good) and 98.2% in the main group trials. The KARTIK media was declared appropriate for use .

This study was aim to analyse science as a process skill, products/content, and attitudes on students’ book at 4th grade Theme 3 Curriculum 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji penerapan hakikat IPA pada buku siswa kelas IV Tema 3 Kurikulum 2013. The design of this study was qualitative with the type of content study research. The data was collected through documentation. Data analysis techniques through reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that scence as a process skill, products/content and attutudes was available on that book, but the aspect of science process skill, science as product and science as hat attitudes was not complete. Science as a product/content found in this book merely on fact, concept, and principle. Science as attitudes found on this book are honest, opend minded, responsible, objective, cooperative, critical thinking, curiosity, careful, discipline, care for environment. Science as a process found of this book are still limited in: observing, classifying, concluding, and communicating.

In general, this study was aimed at developing a HOTS-based PPG assessment instrument at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The specific objective of this study was to design a HOTS-based PPG assessment instrument that is appropriate for PPG learning. Overall, this study uses a research and development approach. While the development of research is carried out in four stages, namely the stage of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The results showed that the level of differentiation of the questions that had been given was still low, with the index of difficulty of the questions which were also still not satisfactory. In fact, the quality of the deception has an indication that it is considered to be lacking.

This research is focused on the activeness of students in learning. The aim is to find out and analyze the use of cooperative learning type vak on student activeness abilities. This study uses an experimental method, a form of research Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design models. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. In order to obtain an experimental class in the learning process using a cooperative learning model of jigsaw and a control class which in the learning process uses a direct teaching model. Data collected in the form of instruments of problem solving ability. Based on the results of data analysis, the average score of the experimental class posttest was 22.63 while the average posttest score of the control class was 17.13. Hypothesis test results using t test obtained t_count = 4.388, with dk = 30 + 32-2 = 60 and a significance level ∝ = 0.05, then t_table = 1.6706 is obtained. Thus t_count> t_table which is 4.388> 1.6706. Then, the effective size analysis shows the score E_s = 0.98. So it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model VAK type is better and more effective than the direct teaching model to increase student activity
