In Indonesia Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) launched by the government, has aim to make learners become literary generation. One of the literacy skills that should be developed nowadays is media literacy. Information can be more accessible to children through their ability to use information technology and media. This research aimed to determine the needs of media literacy of elementary school students . The purpose of this research is to know students' accessibility the most to media, media influence, and the importance of media literacy ability to be owned by grade V elementary school students . Through a survey approach that has been conducted on 83 students of Class V primary schools in Purworejo, Central Java , The results of this study describe that students of grade V elementary school in Purworejo have been familiar with media technology. Most of them can access the media especially television . Therefore, it is necessary media literacy ability to increase students' awareness of various content in the media information, so that students can be wise in choosing the appropriate content with his age . This study aimed to describe emotional intelligence of Grade IV Students of elementary school . This study used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection using emotional intelligence questionnaires and interview. Based on the results t he students’ emotional intelligence charactheristic was variated. The student ability to recognize and manage emotions was lacked. In addition, the ability to motivate oneself, recognize the emotions of others and the ability to develop relationships was good. Nevertheless there was tendency for the characteristics of good emotional intelligence to contribute to the learning achievements of students. This is indicated by 63.64% of students characterized by good emotional intelligence also supported by learning outcomes with 54.55% of students whose learning outcomes are complete.

Principal leadership was a determining factor in the education process in MI Muhammadiyah Special Program Kartasura. Principal leadership emphasized the formation of student character and not on student grades. The purpose of this study was to describe the leadership style applied and the role of principals as leaders in building high-quality school. This type of research was qualitative research. The research design used was phenomenology. Research used primary data in the form of interviews and observations and used secondary data in the form of documents obtained from school. The data analysis used was an interactive model analysis with source triangulation and methods. The results of this study were: First. Principal leadership had a democratic-monarchic leadership style. This was based on the system that applied in the process of determining policies and decision-making processes carried out jointly. Second, the role of the principal included several aspects that had been carried out, namely: as an educator, as a manager, as an administrator, as a supervisor, as a leader, as an innovator, as a very good motivator. The purposes of this research are to 1) identify knowledge of children's personal protection from sexual abuse; 2) identifying children's personal protection skills from sexual abuse; and 3) describe efforts to prevent sexual abuse that have been carried out by the school. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. The research subjects were fifth grade students. The technique of collecting data are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques use the concepts conveyed by Miles and Hubermen. The validity of the data was obtained through source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the research indicate that 1) the child's ability to identify appropriate touch situations is good and the child's ability to identify touch situations that are not appropriate is very good. This are indicated by the child knowing that the appropriate touches such as the touch of the parents when caring for the body, the touch of doctors and nurses when examining the disease and inappropriate touches such as the touch of a housemaid or neighbor; 2) the child's knowledge and skills in reporting are very low, this are indicated by the child being unable to tell other people and children protect themselves by shouting, angry and running; 3) school prevention efforts have been carried out by schools through health education on reproduction and puberty in two stages, namely in the health and religious.

The purpose of this study was to improve the activity and cognitive learning outcomes of students using the NumberT Together Learning Model (NHT) Cooperative. The research methodology used is quantitative pre-experimental research with research design using a one-time case study. The data obtained in this study were data from pretest and posttest. The d ata analyzed to see the score of the test results. Then the test results are calculated on average and calculate the N-Gain between the pretest and posttest. The learning process using cooperative learning model Number Head Together (NHT) seen from the results of pretest 67.142 and posttest results 77.142 shows a 10% increase in student learning outcomes in the medium category with N-Gain value 0.304. While based on the results of the learning done, the cooperative learning model Number Head Together (NHT) increases student learning activities by 30% from 55% to 85%.

Local wisdom is supposed to be a basic guideline for people to live their life in the surround society. Recently, media emerges and discusses on the survival of the local wisdom throughout the Indonesian society. This research is trying to review how the values of local wisdom are taught in elementrary schools. Process of learning cultural values is better done intensively and continuously that internalization of the values can be absorbed well. Internalization process of the values done in schools need tough efforts, started with selection of media or tools which load the values needed to be learned. Using the content analysis, this research is trying to review the content about local wisdom in the text books of Bahasa Jawa subject. This analysis is hoped to find themes and examples of the implementation of the Javanesse local wisdom. By using the content analysis, this research results in the findings that the three dimensions of local values are covered in all text books used in the research; however, there are some detail values found undiscussed in the text books.

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with ethnoscience to the improvement of creative thinking skills in the process of making tempe. The subjects in this study were 40 students in one school in Banyumas district. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used one group pre-test and post-test design. Based on the results of the analysis obtained data pre-test and post-test creative thinking skills with a n-gain score of 0.7 with a high category. The results of the questionnaire for creative thinking skills were 14 students in the high category, 23 students in enough categories, and 3 students in the low category. It can be concluded that learning using the ethnics-charged Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve student's creative thinking skills in elementary schools.
摘要本研究旨在探讨运用族群科学的专案学习(Project Based Learning, PjBL)学习模式,改善学童在制作temp过程中的创造性思维能力。本研究以Banyumas区一所学校的40名学生为研究对象。这种类型的研究是定量研究。研究方法采用一组前测和后测设计。根据分析结果获得的前测和后测创造性思维能力数据,n-gain得分为0.7,属于高类别。创造性思维能力问卷调查结果为高类14人,足类23人,低类3人。本研究结果显示,运用族群导向的专案式学习模式,可以提高小学生的创造性思维能力。

AbstractThe misconception is a common problem in the world of science learning. This study aims to reveal the types and causes of primary science misconception in the life processes and living things. Therefore, qualitative case studies were used in this study and the primary school students were subject to this study. The results showed that students who had misconceptions in the concept of living, classification, breathing, and microbe and disease. In addition, the causes of student misconceptions were the students' pre-concepts, humanist thinking, false reasoning, and associative thinking. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that learning must promote cognitive conflict to correct the student’s misconceptions.Keywords: misconception, primary science

The digital era makes education begin to be contaminated with technology. This study aim to determine the effectiveness of Virtual Mathematics Kits (VMK) viewing by student' mathematical literacy. The VMK was used in extracurricular activities based on mathematical literacy. 83 elementary school students (grade 5) in 4 school participated in this study. There were two intervention classes and two non-intervention classes. All classes were given mathematical literacy activities for 6-weeks period (90-min each week). The VMK used in intervention classes. The activities focus on student' ability to make ideas, reasoning and solve various mathematical problem. The mathematical literacy activities led to improvements in both of two classes. However, the use of VMK make student' mathematical literacy much better. The VMK support student to reason and manipulated mathematical object although students have difficulty to operate VMK. This study showing the use of digital media (VMK) support student' mathematical literacy.

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of Problem Based Instruction model on science process skills of students in the subject of science concepts II PGRI Madiun University. This research was a quasi experiment with quantitative approach. The research design was Posttest Only Control Group Design by using model Problem Based Instruction in the experimental group and the lecture method varies in the control group. The study population was the whole second semester students Prodi PGSD PGRI Madiun University. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling, in order to obtain semeseter 2 class 2D as an experimental group and 2C as a control group. The data collection technique using a multiple choice test and essay, observation sheets, as well as their academic papers. The hypothesis testing using t-test. Normality test was performed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with significance of control class 0,332 and experiment class 0,538. Homogeneity test using Levene's test with significance level of 0.532. Hypothesis test results obtained a significance level of 0.00 so that the results of this study concluded that the learning model Problem Based Instruction is effective against science process skills of students in the subject of science concepts II PGRI Madiun University.
