This study aimed to demonstrate that character education and friendship are factors that influence or foster self-esteem in adolescents. To validate the statement, 250 students in Semarang participated and are involved in this study. Three hypotheses were formulated and tested. The major hypothesis was that character education and friendship have an effect on self-esteem in adolescents. The first minor hypothesis was that character education has an effect on students’ self esteem and the second minor hypothesis was that friendship has an effect on self-esteem in adolescents. The results of data analysis show that all hypotheses are accepted. Furthermore, based on the results, the researchers suggested that character education and friendship dimensions should be considered in an intervention program intended to promote the potential of education character and friendship as a means of fostering self-esteem in adolescents as a foundation for growth and development in the future.

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak has caused a high level of open unemployment in Indonesia. To overcome this problem, the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower held training to be given to people who do not have the skills and want to develop their skills. There are two kinds of training provided, namely blended learning training and online learning management system. This study aims to describe (1) the implementation of blended learning-based online training and LMS (2) Obstacles and solutions to the implementation of blended learning and LMS training. The research method used is a qualitative method. The research subjects included 2 training program managers, 2 training instructors, 2 training participants. The data collection techniques included in-depth interviews with 2 training program managers, 2 training instructors, 2 trainees, observation, and documentation related to the implementation of blended learning and LMS training. The validity of the data used triangulation of sources. The data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study explain that blended learning training was carried out with a portion of 30% online and 70% offline, while LMS was carried out online by combining an e-training platform as a learning support. The obstacle in implementing this training was the internet network connection. The solution provided was the training instructor reviewed the training material during offline training. In conclusion, BBPLK Semarang is one of the institutions that implement blended learning and LMS which has been held since the beginning of the pandemic by combining e-training. This implementation had several obstacles including internet connection and there were still some participants who did not have adequate gadgets. The implementation of this training was supported by the replacement of internet quota fees that could support blended learning and LMS training.

Developing the mindset of the younger ones towards technopreneurship engagement is important so as to reduce youth unemployment. This study therefore investigated some factors namely entrepreneurship attitudes, skills, and knowledge (e-ASK) in relation to the behavioral intentions to technopreneurship engagement among Nigerian and Indonesian Undergraduates in an Emerging Society 5.0. The descriptive research design was used. The study was piloted by two null hypotheses. The target population comprised all 5019 undergraduates in two purposively selected Nigerian and Indonesian universities, out of which 336 were selected through stratified random sampling technique. A self-designed, validated, and reliable instrument (r=.88) entitled “Behavioural Intentions of Technopreneurship Engagement Scale (BITES)” was used for data collection. Methods of data analysis were Multiple Regression and Independent t-test. Findings showed that the joint contributions of e-ASK to the variance in technopreneurship engagement were 5.5%. There was also significant difference in behavioral intentions to technopreneurship engagement among Nigerian and Indonesian Undergraduates ((t=-2.376; df=334, p.05). In broad term, this study investigated the behavioral intentions of Nigerian and Indonesian undergraduates towards technopreneurship engagement in an emerging society 5.0. Building a network of partnership in the management of educational institutions is one thing that is very important to be done by the managers of non-formal educational institutions that are managed independently by the community so that the purpose of establishing non-formal educational institutions can be achieved. This study aims to explore how the views of non-formal education managers and the forms of partnership built by non-formal education managers build partnership networks and obstacles faced in building partnership networks. This research uses qualitative methods and data collection is carried out by observation in the form of direct observations to several non-formal educational institutions located in three regions of Jambi province, namely Batanghari, Merangin, and Muaro Bungo. Interviews were conducted with non-formal education managers in three regions, as well as documentation in the form of visions, missions of non-formal educational institutions, cooperation documents, and some literature related to the management of non-formal education. The data that has been collected is analyzed and tested for validity using the source data trianggulation technique. The results showed that the managers of non-formal education units have similar views on the importance of cooperating in the management of non-formal education units, and the form of cooperation carried out in the form of cooperation in terms of financing, borrowing facilities and infrastructure, as well as resource persons for training and learning activities. The obstacles faced come from within the manager himself, namely still passive and less proactive in building partnership networks with other parties. The results of this study show that the managers of non-formal education units view building partnership networks only limited to practical matters, namely financing, borrowing facilities, and resource persons only in accordance with current needs, it is hoped that the results of the research will be able to improve the quality of management of non-formal educational institutions managed by the community.

The era of globalization has impacted religious organizations whose members are village youths working in the industry in the Jepara region. This study aims to determine the impact of industrialization and the factors that influence the interest of Geneng village in joining religious organizations. This study uses a descriptive approach. The research subjects were the chairperson, treasurer, secretary, members, trainers, and youth as informants. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. Data analysis techniques collect, reduce, present, and draw conclusions. The results showed that Geneng village youth's interest in religious organizations was still low due to a lack of publications, employment, youth environment, and education. Meanwhile, regarding social impacts, the intensity of activity and members' interest decreased. At the same time, the economic aspect of members who are already working in the industry provides material assistance during the activity. This study concludes that the interest of Geneng village youth is still low due to a lack of publications, employment, environmental, youth associations, and educational factors. Meanwhile, industrialization impacts religious organizations in social and economic aspects. The researchers suggest that publications are maximized again, and members can manage their time well.

The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, a disaster that shocked the whole world, has affected various aspects of people's lives, including the resilience of society, especially the poor. This study aims to see the condition of the resilience of the poor in Bandung in facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey method was chosen to obtain the latest data flexibly with a total of 200 respondents, through the distribution of a questionnaire of 40 items consisting of aspects of individual, family, and community resilience. The results show that individual resilience is very dominant during the COVID-19 pandemic disaster, this mutually affects family resilience and community resilience. The most dominant factor in the resilience of individuals and families is the factor of spirituality and optimism in facing this epidemic, the factors that affect community resilience are individual interactions in community activities in the security, social and religious fields

The activities and existence of SKB as an educational institution in non-formal education units are a manifestation of the achievement of good corporate governance. This study aims to describe, predict and interpret the influence of leadership, organizational culture and achievement motivation on the performance of the Pamong Belajar at the Learning Activity Center (SKB) in North Sulawesi Province. The research approach used is quantitative with survey methods, while the hypothesis testing technique used is path analysis. There were at least 100 civil servants studying at 10 SKB and 15 districts / cities in North Sulawesi Province who were involved in this research. Research success indicators are measured based on 8 criteria contained in the Program Implementation Success Indicators (IKPP) and Institutional Success Indicators (IKK). From the results of the research analysis, it is found that the leadership characteristics of Pamong Belajar have a direct impact on organizational culture, achievement motivation and the performance of the Pamong Belajar SKB in North Sulawesi Province. However, there are interesting findings where achievement motivation can be a strong factor in the performance of the SKB Student Learning Association.

Pos-PAUD is one form of non-formal PAUD unit as the development of Integrated Services Post (Posyandu) activities. Previous researches’ results state that Pos-PAUD service quality is far from what is expected since the village society-built institution has many limitations. Its management’s academic qualification and competence is not required as demanded by the law. This research aims at mapping Pos-PAUD management’s managerial competence and its influence on its institutional service quality. The research was conducted with a correlational quantitative research design. The research population was the Pos-PAUD management in Malang City of about 156 people. The research samples were 65 people determined based on the proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected using a questionnaire technique. The questionnaire validity was tested using Pearson’s Product Moment technique, while questionnaire reliability was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha technique. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and regressive analysis techniques using SPPSS 23.00 for windows. The result of descriptive analysis shows that management’s managerial competence and institutional service quality are not maximal yet since there is unmet indicator. The hypothesis test result shows that Fcount is 162.407 (Sig F = 0.000). Ftable at significance level 5% is 3.14. Since Fcount > Ftable (162.407 > 3.14) and Sig F < 5% (0.000 < 0.05) thus Ho is rejected, which means that management’s managerial competence significantly influences Pos-PAUD service quality. This research result may be taken as the base to design Pos-PAUD management’s competence building activity that is currently seldom performed and as the base of development of Pos-PAUD service quality improvement model.

The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) the influence of Web-based learning with the performance of Educators, (2) the influence of cultural literacy with Educators' performance (3) the influence of Web-based learning and literary culture together with performance Educators. The method used in this study was with a quantitative approach with the ex-post-facto method. The population in this study was all non-formal educators working in the Gorontalo City learning activities workshop amounting to 107 people, while samples were 59 people using proportional random sampling. Data is collected through poll deployments. The conclusion to this research is (1) there is a positive influence on Web-based learning on educators' performance, which means that the better web-based learning is better for educator performance. (2) there is a positive influence on the cultural literacy of the educator's performance, meaning that both the literate culture is also the higher the performance of educators. (3) there is a positive influence on web-based learning and cultural literacy together to the performance of educators working in the Learning Activities workshop in Gorontalo city, this means that the higher the implementation of Web-based learning and culture of literacy, the higher the performance of non-formal educators.
