This paper deals with the conditions and methods of technical and tactical training of curling players in the competitive period of the annual macrocycle. The purpose of the research was to study the means and conditions for improving the effectiveness of technical and tactical training of curling players in the competitive period of the annual macrocycle. The following scientific methods were used in the research process: analysis and synthesis of literature sources, pedagogical testing, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, as well as methods of mathematical statistics. The study was conducted in three stages: from October 2022 to September 2023. At the initial stage, two groups were formed: control and experimental. The control group trained according to the traditional methodology, the experimental group - according to the set of exercises developed by us, after which a cut-off of pedagogical testing was conducted. In the training process of curling players of the experimental group we introduced a method of specialised training, including a set of exercises that contribute to improving the level of technical and tactical fitness of athletes. At the second stage of the experiment the effectiveness of the developed set of exercises was tested, the main pedagogical experiment was conducted and conclusions were formulated. At the third stage the obtained research results were processed by means of mathematical statistics. Comparative analysis of the results of testing of technical and tactical preparedness in the control and experimental groups showed a significant improvement of all the studied indicators in the experimental group compared to the control group (P<0.05), the results were summarised in the table. The work contains a detailed description of the set of exercises, analysis of the obtained data and justification of their practical significance for the development of technical and tactical skills of athletes specialising in curling.

A sociological study was conducted among the 1st and 2nd year students of the general medicine and pediatric faculties of the Northern State Medical University in order to assess the quality of the curatorship institute at the medical university. The total number of respondents was 296. The average age was 18 (18; 19) years, of which 72,0% (n=213) were girls and 28,0% (n=83) were boys. Almost all students know their curator (98,0%), 54.7% noted that they meet with their curator once a month. At the pediatric faculty, curators interact more often with their groups. When questions arise, 67,6% of students have the opportunity to communicate with the curator by phone, almost half (56,4%) are in touch with the curator on social networks. The majority of respondents (69,9%) do not focus on the age and experience of the curator. Events organized by the curators: tea drinking (33,1%), conversations (52,7%), trips to the theater, cinema, bowling (25,0%), trips to recreation centers (5,4%), other events (museums, exhibitions, conferences, skating rink, trainings) – in 16,9%; 15,5% of students answered that the curators did not hold any joint events. 44,6% of students would like to attach a curator to the group for all 6 years of study. The average score for evaluating the effectiveness of the curator's work was 6,6 (4; 8) points. Among the important functions performed by the curator, the following were noted: to help resolve conflict situations in the group (78,4%), to be an intermediary between students and teachers of departments (74,0%), to help with studies (41,2%), in solving household issues (13,9%), to organize leisure (14,2%), to help solve health problems (5,4%).

In education, the task is to create new, relevant textbooks on National history this also applies to textbooks on the "History of Medicine" and "Bioethics". The importance of the basic ethical categories (duty, responsibility, honor, justice, humanism, mercy, compassion) in medical deontology remains important, especially the question of the real implementation of these principles in the daily work of a doctor. The problem has become especially relevant in connection with the implementation of the SVO in Ukraine. Here the ethical categories of "duty" and "heroism" find an organic synthesis. The purpose of the study: To consider the deontological concepts of "duty" and "heroism" in the socio-historical aspect on the examples of the actions of Russian doctors in the SVO zone in Ukraine. New: In this work, for the first time in a scientific article, the principles of "medical duty" and "heroism of doctors" are analyzed based on the specifics of the SVO (Special Military Operation) in Ukraine, the study is based on media materials (TV, Internet, Russian newspapers). Thus, materials are offered for the creation of a new textbook on the "History of Medicine". The research methods used in writing the article: the principle of historicism allows us to consider events in development; - dialectics is a kind of discourse in understanding human behavior in an extreme situation; - hermeneutic analysis, consideration of categories in the context of events; sociological method – the study analyzes modern media. The current socio-political situation has contributed to the manifestation of the best qualities of the doctor's personality in special conditions. So, the biography of an ordinary person-a doctor, in fact, becomes a history textbook! The events in the SVO zone in Ukraine are a new page in National history, including in the history of medicine.

Introduction. Modern researchers do not lose interest in the study of value and meaning spheres of human personality at different stages of its development. Understanding the motivation of students and the process of their professional formation requires a constant and comprehensive study of value orientations that contribute to the formation of self-consciousness of future specialists of different profiles. The prevalence or shortage of certain values at the initial stage of students' education can become a starting point for creating favorable conditions for their professional development. Improvement of the motivational component of professional training will allow to understand more deeply the processes of formation of professional self-consciousness, to consider the system of professional training in different profiles in a new way. Purpose of the study. To study the prevailing values (groups of values) of freshmen students studying in the profile "Psychological and pedagogical work with family" and to identify the features of their value orientations for the organization of quality professional training. The article presents a theoretical review of modern research on the problem of formation of value orientations, which gives an idea of the conflicting nature of motivational components and value structures of modern representatives of youth. The professional self-awareness of future specialists of helping professions undergoes a complex path of interiorization of professional knowledge and inclusion of this knowledge in their personal system. The article describes the main results obtained in the course of empirical research of values (groups of values) of the first-year students, which allow to determine their orientation to the helping profession, the ability to harmonious development of professionally significant values, readiness to become a representative of professional culture and norms, as well as to identify value deficiency that will hinder the formation of a professional.

In patients with consequences of a stroke, disturbances in motor, cognitive, and sensory functions are observed; cardiovascular, endocrine and other body systems, impairment of self-care and independent walking. Physical dependence, the inability to self-care in fulfilling urgent biological needs leads to a feeling of helplessness and is accompanied by depressive, neurotic reactions to the disease. Restoration of impaired functions after a stroke has a long period and the success of recovery depends, on the one hand, on the volume and location of the brain lesion, the severity of motor and cognitive impairments, on the other hand, on the position of the patient himself, the attitude of the patient’s personality to the disease and adherence to treatment. A patient’s stay in a hospital is associated with the social expectations of the staff for certain behavior of the patient: fulfilling the instructions of the attending physician, partnership with staff (physical therapy methodologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, etc.), the patient’s activity, the formation of healthy lifestyle attitudes (giving up smoking, alcohol, fatty food, etc.), which can be called psychological conditions for rehabilitation. However, not all patients are ready to fulfill these rehabilitation conditions, which are targets for psychological correction. The tasks of psychological assistance should be focused on developing adherence to treatment, forming cooperative relationships with staff, and healthy lifestyle attitudes, which can contribute to restorative treatment and the prevention of recurrent stroke. Psychological assistance during individual and group work should be focused on providing emotional support, setting realistic and understandable goals for the patient, adequate to the patient’s capabilities, both in a hospital and clinic, which can ensure his active inclusion in the treatment process.
